Thanks, I had previously read all of that, I just wanted to get some feedback from those who have used the promo and make sure there wasn't some hidden fine print or the likes.

When they say "Enjoy No Payments + No Interest if paid in full in 12 Months"

Does that literally mean you don't have to make any payments every single month for the first 12 months, or just no interest if you pay in full by the 11th month.

hey what does an overclocked 3770k bring in daily?

From a stock i7-3770 running on ubuntu i'm getting around 35 kh/s when only running the miner, with running other apps i'm getting 28-30 kh/s

What does this equate to in cash flow?  I've been out of the game a while, but I saw on twitter guys saying this coin is very profitable to mine, but unless I'm looking at this wrong it seems like we are talking about pennies here.  Anyone?

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / How correct are current mining profitability calculators? on: September 14, 2014, 12:04:03 PM
I've been out of the mining game since May.  At that time profit calculations were exaggerated pretty greatly on coinwarz and whatmine.  How are things currently?  What can one expect per 100MH on scrypt, average daily?

It's not normal because they used to be sharp and completely constructed.  And it's in many places all over the world, where they also used to look sharp and fully constructed.

You can't possibly say that looks normal, that's hilarious.

Nah, I guess he's right. That picture is of a constructed, i.e. built in an editor, set of buildings. You can't possibly do that for every minor crappy place, so they scan and process those images automatically. And that technology has its limitations, yeah.

As I already said, the areas I am talking about used to be fully constructed, now they are not.  And South Beach is anything but a minor crappy place.

I've been getting these issues for the last year or so.  I figured it was a bug on their end they would eventually fix, but it's been a while now.  I've tried disabling/enabling all options, clearing caches, reinstalling, etc.  It only does it when 3d Imagery is enabled.  I use OpenGL mode, but it also does it in Directx mode.

Hardware is Z77, 3770k, 280x, 32GB RAM, tried many different ATI drivers.  Right now using latest stable version.

Thoughts?

9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Scrypt Asics -Doomed? on: July 10, 2014, 03:21:15 PM
I've been gone for a couple months to come back to see scrypt difficulties rocketing up.  Is this Bitcoin Asics all over again?  Meanwhile X11/13 profitabilty is laughable.  Current scrypt asic prices don't look like they would ROI if difficulty rate continues at current pace.  Each $10,000 unit only brings in $1800 first month. What are your guys projections for the following months?

Thoughts?

Also.

This guide is substantially better.  I reformatted again and it was a breeze this time around using this.  I didn't have to do any extra crap;

http://blog.truepps.com/complete-guide-to-mine-scrypt-on-xubuntu-13-10/

Just use that guide but with the newest drivers of course, and then the extra auto load scripts on the bottom of the other guide if you want them.

I figured it out for whoever else has this issue; I had to make an xinit file
