Hi, We've added VTA to the miners multipool: www.zpool.caCheers!

Finally I see the error massage .. ccminer has been blocked from accessing the graphics driver. Any help plz
Sorry Crackfoo for messing up your thread.
Are you running it as administrator?

Crackfoo did you make any modifications to the sli or the pool signal right now? For the last 4 days my miners finally didn't crash at all. Just started again 3 hours ago. It maybe my server doing this. thx
yes I did some changes today and some more again just now. Let me know how it goes. Which algo again? Ok I'm not sure which. But the last 4 days I had no crashes for the first time in 4 months .... worked great. Crackfoo are you having pool problems? EDIT: yes I can see you are. Nothing out of the ordinary... Those 4 days were great.. its crashing now cant get it running ... it says an app has caused it to crash..then the graphics drivers have recovered ..but they dont. Not sure what app is doing that... will check tomorrow. It mines for about 3 minutes then crashes. That's strange. Not seeing anything out of the ordinary here...

Does the SHA256 multi drop off this much normally? Been on it for 24 hrs and can't seem to get a stable hashrate at all. Looks like total hashrate has gone from 180 TH to 25 TH at times as well.
yes, it's been an ongoing issue. I'm hoping to have a new python port of the stratum server eventually, if the dev doing the port can get through it as it's a tricky one.

no source for this any more?
|
|
|
Looking for some nodes as well...
Anyone have any?

Doing a reboot of the stratum servers. Shouldn't be off long.

We found The problem that causing Orphan blocks The issue is that we have multiple groups of nodes which are not connected directly. How these orphan blocks appear: - we have groups of nodes A, B, .. Z. Some of the groups have miners. Since the blocktime is preaty small, each group can mine blocks before this data is synced between groups.
Solution: + We need to connect seed nodes between each other. + We need each group have connection to our seed nodes.
There are multiple steps avaialable but let's start from the most simple one.
1. On every node we have, add the following lines to the config file (.conf) It will make the wallet to have permanent connections to these nodes, higher priority that peers.dat addnode=192.52.166.80 addnode=185.122.58.148 addnode=185.122.57.177 addnode=216.189.150.21 addnode=85.25.207.141 addnode=144.76.71.141 addnode=104.131.163.132 addnode=188.134.72.213 addnode=159.203.31.42 addnode=91.134.120.222 addnode=192.241.255.22 addnode=175.192.238.141 addnode=104.172.24.79 addnode=148.251.19.213 addnode=185.122.57.191 addnode=81.133.148.6 addnode=87.203.85.201 addnode=85.214.125.73
2. After the changes are done restart the daemon.
3. In the source code in src/net.cpp you have static const char *strMainNetDNSSeed[][2] = { {"95.211.57.108", "95.211.57.108"}, {"192.52.166.80", "192.52.166.80"}, {NULL, NULL} };
3.1 we should replace IP addresses with domain names Like n1.tekyfaucets.xyz, n2.tekyfaucets.xyz It will allow to change servers withour a need to issue new version of the wallet.
3.2 Extend hardcoded seed nodes to at least 5-7 nodes.
4. Remove all nodes from the recomended list which we don't controll. It's better to extend our own nodes to 5-10 for now.

If you can help us to do this please join our slack.shit still orphans

Does anyone know neoscrypt hashrate for nVIDIA 1070 and AMD RX 480 at the Windows?
You might find some answers in my benchmark database: www.zpool.ca/benchCheers

This is good to hear. We've made changes to the lowest level socket connections which seems to cut out a lot of connection problems. Mainly problems were coming from miners disconnecting from the stratum server when we were in the middle of handing out jobs for one of the coins that were being mined. We now have 5s socket timeouts.
I hoped it would help with all the problems but there there is still problems when I enabled AUX coins so I've dropped them all on sha again and just left DOGE on scrypt. the other algos don't seem to have problems with them.
I can see how the server would get kinda pissed and lock up/reset from being overloaded with open sockets.... I have stability, so I am in for the long haul with that S7. I refuse to let people lowball me on nicehash since they can't change the profitability flag to be something other than what it is which is broken on >S3 models. It was amazing watching people immideately pay almost half for the same sized order; then in the next day watch diff on the altcoins all rise and drop their value per hashrate because they arent pointing it at BTC as much as they were...... The ripple of the halving's second signs... I have a good feeling that there will be a stable python port of the stratum servers available eventually which I'll put putting in BTC to help push the dev along to get it done. It's a tricky project so I hope it makes it to finish.

I have again started pointed a S7 at zpool. It is consistently reconnecting but, is not getting kicked off needing a hard-reset like it was before.
I do see the results of the disconnects (pool hashrate drops massively is one clue) and my miner hashrate resets then climbs back up.
So it seems as whatever garbage that was keeping the miner from reconnecting or getting hung waiting to reconnect... is no longer happening. My only issues now are the normal power issues associated with living out of the city in the country.
The lyra2 port seems to waver greatly on my hashrate it is seeing. Its very odd.... So sometimes I get a full reward (~25Mh) and sometimes a partial reward (~13Mh)... I am wondering if I force a diff that this will change my hashrate consistency.... telling me that the diff is going just a little too high for the speed of the coins its mining.
Which is way more than enough time. The majority os sockets are established successfully in 1ms or less so even 5 is a lot and I may fiddle with that a bit more. So the stratum isn't resetting so much as it is closing failed sockets before it hangs the whole stratum like it was doing. I hoped it would help with all the problems but there there is still problems when I enabled AUX coins so I've dropped them all on sha again and just left DOGE on scrypt. the other algos don't seem to have problems with them probably because there are no ASIC's on them aside from X11, which may eventually see problems once there are more providers of ASIC's building crappy devices etc...

Can an up-to-date one be uploaded? I'm having an aweful time trying to sync this thing You could try the bootstrap available at CryptoChainer here: cryptochainer.com/dir/Thanks... I downloaded it... but maybe it's corrupt? The main problem is that people lost and loosing a lot of money on mining. Yesterday hash speed felt down to 19 GH/s and that was just 2 pools mining and after we received 110 confirmations someone changed all that blocks, most of them were almost confirmed at c-cex, had more than 100 confirmations, so there were not other hashes except from this 2 pools, so how the heck is that possible !?!
We dropped it cause all the blocks we've been finding turned to orphans for 3-4 days. Waste of hash

Yeah, 5 out of 7 Lyra2v2 coins are dead. Keeping track of payouts from the pool, I could've made more mining Vert or Mona from a normal pool. I'll wait another 12, but definitely pretty certain they're tanking pool efficiency.
Actual pool rate multiplied by my hashrate definitely does not give me my payouts as well. My payouts were about 20% lower then that. The 'actual' payout still was below mining coins direct as well.
i assure you, any yaamp pool and its op do everything possible to maximize their (pool/op) profits sometimes (well actually most of the time) it doesn't mean any good profits for miners, and that's pretty obvious if you carefully look at the pool payouts scheme If you're eluding to them skimming off the top, they could still make more by removing five out of seven dead Lyra2v2 coins.. If they're on exchanges, they are no dead and no worthless. Most of the time it is mona and vtc being mined and very little hash is put on the others. And for the merged mined coins who cares? If you want, I'll see if I can have your account donate any earnings from them to the pool.

I just lost money mining quark over you guys!! My payout was in MUE it's clear that without me you guys have 50 to 60% less hashpower and I made half of I was expecting!!
Exchange rates seems to be really bad
I don't know I will not mine quark here anymore not worth
I've been mining quark and qubit for a long time and have always come away with more BTC. Not sure how you go about it but as with any algo, if you're renting, you can't just set an order and guarantee you'll make $.
