The latest shift for the FibreCoin Multipool paid out over 146 FIBRE.

We really need to get more mining support or shift payouts will be bumped to twice a week soon.

Cheers!

Hello guys!

I can't run XC wallet and Blocknet Wallet at same time on a PC.
Is that normal or i am doing something wrong?

Also want to ask if 9 PM UK time is when Blocknet ITO beggins?

How can i buy shares using XC?

Do i still can buy Blcknet share using XCurrency?Smiley

I'm guessing it's simply a clone of the XC wallet and all that got changed was the address generation. The ports are probably conflicting with your clonenet wallet.

4584  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XC][XCurrency] Decentralised Trustless Privacy Platform / Encrypted XChat / Pos on: October 29, 2014, 12:21:44 PM
As altcoins can only purchase up to 20% of the entire Blocknet ITO I reckon this limit will be reached very soon. Thereafter I see the XC price dropping even further as Blocknet investors try to free up some BTC by selling some of their XC holdings. Hope to be proven wrong though.
The shit is happening already. No participating coin is able to buy anymore on coingateway, and the participating coins prices are going down.
So fucking much for that 10% discount.
Most will have to sell at low prices, to get in the game.
Idiots!

They did this so it would be the investors who would have to dump the coins and not blocknet when it goes to pay the devs.

Network weight is down to 53k again...

Some people are just relocating their coins after stakeing

that must mean there is quite a bit moving around?

No matter how quickly the developers answer the surrounding questions about ITO, on crucial one is remaining: How many days before the ITO will all parts of the Blocknet software be opensourced?

It's not enough to announce some parts are/or will be available soon, The date for ITO is set and it is unacceptable without the complete set of software being inspected by the community.

On separate issue, it's a good idea to limit the ITO to Bittrex, it's more transparent that way and immune to arbitrage which will otherwise occur. There's no need to give incentive for trading the Blocknet before the ITO  is over, price can only be lower, not higher, then the initial price while the supply of shares with initial price lasts.

XC still isn't open sourced.  Why would they open source Blocknet?

good point to consider.

Well, after back to back 30+ hour work "days", I got the new architecture pretty stable. Still some kinks, but for the most part working.

New commands:
{ "BTCDjson", "json" } // this supports sending SuperNET API commands
// there is also https access via web browser and curl and wget, so many ways to issue SuperNET API commands

{ "gotpacket", "msg", "dur", "ip_port" } // this is called when the BTCD gets a packet from one of its peers
{ "gotnewpeer", "ip_port" } // this is called when a new peer is discovered
{ "BTCDpoll" } // this mechanism is used to find out when the SuperNET wants to broadcast or narrowcast packets

{ "maketelepods", "amount", "coin" } // this creates telepods, must be multiples of 0.01
{ "telepodacct", "amount", "contact", "coin", "comment", "cmd", "withdraw" } // this command displays the current set of unspent telepods, either globally, by coin, by contact. also will support withdrawing telepods to a normal address and also create credit/debit journal entries. However, only the display of all the unspent telepods has been tested

Existing commands that at least worked in some cases.
   // Telepathy
    static char *getpeers[] = { (char *)getpeers_func, "getpeers", "V",  "scan", 0 };
    static char *addcontact[] = { (char *)addcontact_func, "addcontact", "V",  "handle", "acct", 0 };
    static char *removecontact[] = { (char *)removecontact_func, "removecontact", "V",  "contact", 0 };
    static char *dispcontact[] = { (char *)dispcontact_func, "dispcontact", "V",  "contact", 0 };
    static char *telepathy[] = { (char *)telepathy_func, "telepathy", "V",  "contact", "id", "type", "attach", 0 };
    static char *getdb[] = { (char *)getdb_func, "getdb", "V",  "contact", "id", "key", "dir", 0 };

    // Kademlia DHT
    static char *ping[] = { (char *)ping_func, "ping", "V", "pubkey", "ipaddr", "port", "destip", 0 };
    static char *pong[] = { (char *)pong_func, "pong", "V", "pubkey", "ipaddr", "port", 0 };
    static char *store[] = { (char *)store_func, "store", "V", "pubkey", "key", "name", "data", 0 };
    static char *findvalue[] = { (char *)findvalue_func, "findvalue", "V", "pubkey", "key", "name", "data", 0 };
    static char *findnode[] = { (char *)findnode_func, "findnode", "V", "pubkey", "key", "name", "data", 0 };

    // MofNfs
    static char *savefile[] = { (char *)savefile_func, "savefile", "V", "filename", "L", "M", "N", "backup", "password", "pin", 0 };
    static char *restorefile[] = { (char *)restorefile_func, "restorefile", "V", "filename", "L", "M", "N", "backup", "password", "destfile", "sharenrs", "txids", "pin", 0 };

As you can see quite a few API's are ready to test

James

nice work james!

Where is everyone hashing at? I tried to go back to hasher.ca but the site won't load.

It should be up and running....

I changed hosts for that pool but other miners are mining the other coins...

Why no whitepaper this will bring confidence in Investors. Xbridge is open source

exactly, this is all i really want...

The Blocknet does not have a "whitepaper".

What we do have, which is better, is:
- the Xnode protocol, which is already coded, live and functioning on XCurrency nodes.
- Telehash v.3 documentation: https://github.com/telehash/telehash.org/tree/v3/v3
- Serverless Telehash with DHT: see the above link, and also https://github.com/quartzjer/TeleHash/blob/master/org/proto/kademlia.md

P.S. Personally I would like it if there was a whitepaper, because it would set certain people's minds at rest. However a whitepaper by no means guarantees the success of a project. Spelling out a solution is not some sort of guarantee that the solution will work.

Is there a link to the xbridge opensource?
