crackfoo,

Not sure if you noticed a jump on the Darkcoin scrypt group, but that's me.

Some other pool (Multipool, it think) is using the password to set the difficulty.  So if the user's password is set to d=4096 then they can get a static difficulty.  Would that be hard for you to implement?  Just curious because it would help my hashrate stabilize.

Thanks!  Nice pool!

how often does your difficulty change? I can tweak the vardiff, and perhaps the max was too high... of 16k

I don't have the ability to allow user set diff's It's something I'm working on though

It changes often, but I have not timed it exactly.  I am not asking for a tweak just for me.  Go ahead and leave it as-is.  I just thought the password idea was clever.  I am going to stick to this pool for a few days to see how it compares.  I like your design.  Thanks again.

Ahh yeha, it is clever but takes a fair bit of customizations so  I try and tweak vardiff accordingly but I can only fix what people tell me is a problem Smiley No one's ever asked me so it just been that way. I don't mind trying to better the current vardiff setting. What diff are you running at mostly? It is going too high? The way I have it set now is I want your miner to submit shares every 5 seconds and adjusts every 30 seconds if your diff is way off target. It will allow for a variance of 30%, so if your miner fluctuates more than that, it might keep changing every 30 seconds....

So, let me try submit shares every 10s, 35% vari and adjustments every 60 seconds.... and a MAX diff of 4096

1. I think that if we are going to spend 500-1000$ a month on servers we should be able to press the price a little.

2. I would like to be a part of the team working with the servers, but i have almost 2 weeks this month where I will be in Italy driving world finals in go kart, so I will not be online that 2 weeks.

Also I am no expert in driving servers, but I would like to give a hand if someone else is in charge (at least in the beginning) as the winter is coming and I don't have much else to do after work.

3. If we are to use 20+ servers, we would need to have the ability to ether clone 1 server out to all the other. Or have some service passing out the chances, from the master server, as it else would be to time consuming (and to big error rate)

Please bear in mind that i am a bit dyslexic.

50 t2.micro instances on Amazon AWS would be $476/mo.

A t2.micro instance is 1 CPU, 1 GB RAM, no perm storage.

I'm pretty sure you can create 1 image and bring up VM's using that image. You can also turn them off and only pay for what you use.

A DigitalOcean VPS with Ubuntu 14.04 is $5/month

That's 512 MB of RAM VM. But, the price is certainly better if that will suffice.

512 is insufficient to run NXT & BTCD effectively. 1GB may be even pushing it. I was only able to test on 768 (kept crashing) and 1.75 GB, worked ok.

Hi,

I get this error when I'm trying to send payments:

Unable to locate enough Darksend denominated funds for this transaction"

I'm only using the linux daemon and not trying to use Darksend....

What's up? This only started with the last update.

Sounds like you are trying to send anon'd funds that aren't there from going through the DS+ process. Darksend disabled? Funds sent non-anon'd/no preference?

I've not specified anything to use DarkSend and I don't think it's enabled... unless it is by default?? I'm only using the RPC/CLI and the sendmany command.

Sendmany is fixed in the next release

Is there an ETA for this? Darkcoin Multipool payouts are on hold until this is fixed....

The first shift is done and payouts sent. Over 53 FIBRE sent out.

A reminder, someone on SHA didn't use a FIBRE address, hence, they won't get paid. Not sure if they changed it shortly after as I don't see any non FIBRE addresses mining now. In those cases, 50% their FIBRE is donated back to the pool as a bonus for next shift and 50% to me.

Cheers!

Great job on the multipools crack that's got to be a full time job. How many you running now? Btcd drk and fibre? I seen a fibre payment so I'm assuming it's my first payout and I didn't get to sign onto the pool till late last night and only my small rig but payout was pretty good. Trying to spreed the word to other miners and get the hash up

Crackers did awesome job on Fibre Multipool ! We have now one of the best multipools in crypto , but the rest are still his lol

And yes please spread the word anywhere -  mining forums , mining rentals sites etc...

https://twitter.com/zyduuu/status/519878124658786304

a question. why multipule not displayed my stats and information about my workers?

Click the button that says "My Shifts" and enter your worker name. Remember, you can only use a VALID FIBRE address as your worker name. If you mining as something else, fix that.

Thanks

Thanks, looking for to seeing those hashrates climb! The more the climb, I'll add in more difficult/profitable coins. To maximize each algo we'd need: +15Th/s SHA256, +600Mh/s SCRYPT & +1GH/s X11.

Cheers!

I tried using the v2 trader and it instantly crashes on me when I try to open it... Any idea's?

Are you trying to use it on a Windows box or a *nix (including Mac) one?

Macs after about 10.7 definitely don't like it. Works for me on a VirtualBox hosting Windows 7 though.

I'm using it on a Windows 7 VM (VMWare Fusion) on OSX Yosemite.

We are getting almost 100 BTCD per month from the staking of the SuperNET funds.
I propose that these funds be used to fund ~100 VPS
I simply need to have ~100 servers to be able to properly test things and the lack of this is causing delay.

These servers can be providing HDD for cloud storage, public routing, public access points, etc.

The funding is part of the problem that can be solved. We also need someone that can manage these servers and keep them updated with new releases, etc.

I need your help to complete the SuperNET, which is needed for Teleport.

James

P.S we can certainly start with less than 100 servers, but I cant do any meaningful testing with half a dozen servers

for 100 VPS's it would probably be in the neighbourhood of $700-1000 a month, for 100 low end 1 CPU 1GB ram and maybe 10-15gb space?
yes, that should be enough, so we can start with ~50
I am assuming we can change the hardware specs as needed?

yeah I think most offer scalability on the fly.

I'm on the latest github updates.
AFAIK, it is reporting that it is disallowing spoofed MNs (likely the attackers).
It is winning and reporting that it beat a loser, no?

I s'pose... also, in this version is the sendmany command not working as well?
