Hi, A guy made ads for a "new lottery" and after I have made some research I proved he was a scam (if you're interested about that, his name is Benmoi, see there, in french: http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=17227.0 ) So I looked at his posts and posted after him (in 3 differents threads) that he is a scam Then I received this message from MoonShadow- (must be an admin but only MoonShadow exists though): Hello

One more warning and your account might be banned. So finally, what must we do when we spot a scam? It's true that I should have warn an admin about that, but what happen until the messages are deleted? What if someone falls for it meanwhile? L'adresse a été changé ressemant par l'équipe à la suite de certaines erreur, l'adresse mentionné date d'aujourd'hui.
Les paiement ne se font pas non plus à partir de cette adresse.
L'adresse a toujours été la même mais nous allons mettre en place un système permettant de la changer à chaque transaction. Sauf si le public montre des signes de contestations =)

D'où l'utilité d'utiliser plusieurs sources Tu ne fais pas confiance au site... ne va pas jouer, on ne force personne a jouer... Pour le moment ils sont plusieurs a nous faire confiance... si vous avez des doutes attendez un moment, vous verrez que le site sera toujours en ligne. Oui bah justement on a aucune preuve que le nombre que tu dis avoir trouvé est bien ça, tu le choisirai ça serait pareil Sincèrement on s'en fout que le site soit toujours en ligne dans un mois, ça ne prouve absolument rien C'est simple, soit tu choisis un algo public qui utilise des nombres publics(loto, euromillion, hash d'un block, ...), soit tu n'auras aucune crédibilité en dehors du cercle fermé des pigeons |

Bizarrement j'ai plus confiance en ça : After a long time thinking about it and talking with others, BitLotto will use random data collected from the U.S.A Mega Millions lottery as well to get the winner. The hash that used before was secure. To cheat it, someone would have to spend a small fortune to win a tiny bit back. It was still possible but VERY unlikely. This was even with the secret hash known. I think the part about the secret hash confused some and gave the wrong impression. Starting for the July 6 draw, the winning hash will come from a SHA256 hash of: block1hash+lotterynumbers (No spaces or + sign) Block1 is the first block to appear in the network with a time after 00:00:00 UTC on the draw date and the lottery numbers come from the Mega Millions drawn a few hours later. A draw of: 07,19,39,41,55 (low to high) Mega Ball 21 would be entered as: 071939415521 in the formula. Tickets still need to be purchased prior to 00:00 UTC of BitLotto draw date.
Now instead of being practically impossible to cheat, it's now *impossible* to cheat for everyone! You'd have to cheat the U.S.A. Mega Millions to cheat BitLotto. qu'en un pauvre random invérifiable... |

I think it'd be suicide to revalue the BTC now, and it'll cause problems with people who don't upgrade old clients. Now that Bitcoin has been featured in Forbes and The Economist and people are trading at $20, this isn't very early days anymore.
This! People use millilitters and milligrams, what's the problem using millibitcoins? Rename it if you want but we can't change BTC value |

The unusual lack of a top level directory in this archive is rather inconvenient. But many thanks for this new release :-) This. Fortunately there are only 6 or 7 files/directories inside, not too horrible unless you had a src or bin directory where you were when you extracted it Also, thanks for the release |

I have a friend with several thousand in his wallet (mined from earlier in the year) and he just leaves his laptop on without encryption and carries it around with him around town. I could have easily transferred the BTCs to my wallet while he was in the washroom.
Do it. Then a day or two later, return him the money  . He will learn the lesson. I approve this message |
