941  Economy / Speculation / Re: A 70% Drop May Occur after BTC Hitting Around $68,700 on: March 29, 2021, 11:32:45 PM
All bears need to go backing hibernation until spring of 2022. We will be well above 180k by then and that is when the bears awaken.
Looks like you are confident that the market would rally till the springs of next year and the price moving above $180k which is really crazy considering it has to rally three folds from the current market valuation for the bears to wake up. I wonder what crazy transaction fees we would be shelling out if that is the case. I am not expecting those valuation but i wont be surprised if it rallies according to your dreams  Cheesy.
942  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Gambling company that did hit the jackpot during the pandemic. on: March 29, 2021, 11:08:30 PM
What is exactly is the advantage here? Sure it gives more opportunities to the players, but the overall negative effects of gambling are enormous. It leads to more crime and it destroys families. What exactly is the use of such regulations?
There is no overall negative effects of gambling if you are an adult and gamble with your spare amount rather than looking to hit the jackpot in a short period of time. If anyone who gambles understands that this is not a way to make money then no one will be hell bend in busting all his life savings and thereby destroy families Tongue.

True that the gambling sites had made a huge profit during pandemic even though the sportsbook suffered a huge loss for a while as all the sporting events were cancelled.
943  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: March 29, 2021, 10:44:48 PM
The tail seem to be holding strong and hopefully we get to see Brathwaite score a century because he deserves it.
Kraigg Brathwaite is playing a captains innings and he is just one short of his century and most probably he will score the century as he played a patient long innings and surprisingly the tail end players are giving him the support especially Rahkeem Cornwall who is the biggest cricket player who is really obese and he does not looks like a sportsman but he plays well when the team needed.
944  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: March 29, 2021, 09:51:38 PM
I was hoping to see Bangladesh play a lot better in T20 against New Zealand but their poor form continues. T20 normally opens up the door for lower ranked teams or teams that are in poor form to bounce back and gain some momentum but its not looking like that here. I just hope that in today's match Bangladesh are more competitive.
I thought Shakib Al Hasan is back from suspension but he is not playing in this series, not sure whether he is injured as he is the main player who could change their fate, if not his presence it is going to be a hard task for them to win against New Zealand nor any other team outside their home ground. It is going to be an easy match for New Zealand and sadly the odds are really low to wage a bet Undecided.
945  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: if the bear market starts next month on: March 29, 2021, 08:58:35 PM
In bear market you should expect Bitcoin decrease 80% in value so from $60k to $12k if bear market starts now.  It will of course not happen immediately but will take over a year time. Hopefully we will see Bitcoin price way over $60k so that 80% drop will not be so low. Smiley
If you think that the price of bitcoin will drop to 80% then it is a huge fall even if you measure with any metric  Tongue. It does not matter if the price rallies to hundred thousand and then drops 80% it is a huge drop and you will hear a viscous attack against bitcoin about how the bubble resembles the tulip mania and so on and we saw that in the past and with the price taking on new landmark valuations you will hear more media outlets crying about it  Grin.
946  Economy / Economics / Re: IPO is the rich people playground. Tax payer pay the price. on: March 29, 2021, 08:37:12 PM
Now we need to come up with a plan, by using ICO, IDO, IEO to force the tax payer pay the price too, what’s your take, can we force the inflation to come totally loose control to the point food price is no longer measurable with fiat paper money?
If you could explain how you are going to achieve that then i could stop thinking about the plans you have in your mind, i have no idea how you are going to do that because i do consider bitcoin as an alternative market and it is not created to replace the fiat economy and no government is going to allow that to happen.
947  Economy / Speculation / Re: Damn, I should've bought bitcoin earlier! on: March 29, 2021, 07:57:33 PM
So, we all know that we are way too late for making profits like that, people are sad that they missed on that chance and we are never going to have that chance. It's true that if you buy bitcoin right now and wait until it is higher you could make money, but we are not going to make profits like we did back in the day, we ain't getting that 500x return type of stuff ever again.
You never know what the market will be next year, may be everyone gets a chance to invest again as majority are anticipating a major correction sometime this year and if that happens then everyone gets a chance once again to invest and then wait for the long haul till the market recovers again and since the market touched $60k we are almost certain we will touch those again Cheesy .
948  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2nd Part of the big bullrun is starting now on: March 29, 2021, 06:59:36 PM
Because there's Big player are already playing it. They will not let the market crash since they have already a good position for future growth. They simply maintain the price growth and accumulate everytime the price correct. There will be no more massive sell-off unless a global financial crisis occur again.
This is our expecting that since there are big players in the market and since they are investing heavily we might not see a crash anytime soon but we are aware of the options market as well, who knows if the market turns from this situation they will hedge against it and make the profit they are looking for, it is hard to understand what these heavy investors are planning.
949  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best way to get the best gas fees for eth tokens on: March 29, 2021, 05:55:08 PM
To move ETH tokens at a low cost there seems to be no way at this point other than waiting for Gwei's cheaper fees from now, because whatever we do, there will still be no cheap way at this time, especially on the Ethereum platform.
Most of the investors are waiting for the fees to get cheaper for a very long time and the waiting gets irritating for many and that is forcing some of the developers to switch the platform and if the fees does not gets lower before the major correction many will be agitated as they will be loosing a lot of profit and that will affect them in the long run.
950  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Large percentage of Americans still don't understand how bitcoin works on: March 29, 2021, 05:31:47 PM
but findings have shown that most of Americans have either not hard of bitcoin or used it.  This have spiked so much reactions and I thought I could bring the discussion here to know your stand on this survey result.
So the survey says that majority of American's have not heard about bitcoin, it is possible that normal citizens are not aware of bitcoin and might not have invested in them but that does not mean anything as there are investors from around the globe who are actively investing for years. I do not follow these surveys as it will not show the entire demography.
951  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I have 5k to invest, should I buy Ripple or Litecoin? I do not want to hold on: March 28, 2021, 11:59:18 PM
XRP is a centralized currency and it is not welcomed by investors, do not believe the words about banks accepting XRP.
There are some truth to it as some of the banks were using their platform but the lawsuit forced some of their business ventures to back out and it is highly likely they will get involved with them again.

I would prefer to choose Litecoin over Ripple. I used to be an XRP fan but I was too disappointed when they faced lawsuits that ruined their reputation. I believe that it's now too risky to invest in it because of its status. I would rather choose a potential coin with a good reputation for years and LTC is a good choice.
If i had the option i would skip both, the lawsuit can be made against any coins in the market that raised money during the ICO and it is the risk you have to take as an investor and we might see more lawsuit from the SEC in the future and XRP might be the start.
952  Economy / Speculation / Re: Upcoming Market Prediction (Market heading for a great downfall) on: March 28, 2021, 11:29:37 PM
That's the sad part about bitcoin. It was always a great decision to buy bitcoin, ever since it was created, but I was both too late to buy too early, but I did reached when it was only one hundred dollars and even with that knowledge I didn't buy, because I didn't think it would be 50k+ dollars, that is more profit than I could ever imagine. Hell let that alone, I had about 10 bitcoins when it crashed in 2018, if I kept them all I would have been 500k+ dollar richer right now, that is more than enough for me to be super happy about it. But I didn't, why?
Everyone who invested in the market knew that the price would rally but i never had any expectations that the price would rally to $50k by 2021 and still i was holding a decent amount of coins and i cashed out majority of my coins during the last rally and i did invest in the hype projects and burned a lot of money and looking back at it now i could have held on to the coins rather than investing in anything else but it is what it is and i have learned to move on.
953  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [NPXS] pundi x moon or doom ? on: March 28, 2021, 07:10:35 PM
What's very funny is that initially the coin had a small supply, then they decided to mess it up by increasing the supply x1000 and now the want to reduce the suppy?

I have never seen a team tinker so much with token supply like the Pundix team  Grin
The hype during that period was really high and it was weird that they kept on changing their plans after selling their tokens which includes the supply and was forced to swap and even still it was fairly higher than the initial price but once the coin got listed in Binance the price started to fall and i burned my profits during that fall.
954  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Governments are looking to buy Bitcoin, NYDIG CEO confirms on: March 28, 2021, 07:49:06 AM
And it is own by the Government of Singapore, and we all know that Singapore is one of the most crypto friendly countries. Interesting to see how much they are willing to invest on bitcoin though, it said they manage a net portfolio of $306 billion, that's huge, but I speculate that they could be just testing some grounds on bitcoin and could be investing in millions initially.
I have not heard much about Singapore even though i heard it has some liberal laws when it comes to cryptocurrency market but i did not know that the government is investing in bitcoin and if that is the situation they might be the first government to publicly invest in bitcoin and if they have a net portfolio of $306 billion then they have invested a few billions in the cryptocurrency market as well.
955  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: March 28, 2021, 05:41:04 AM
~
It was a clean sweep during the ODI series and for me it looks as if the outcome of the T20I series won't be any different.
It was not a big surprise as i expected this outcome and Bangladesh never performs outside the subcontinent and any team coming to New Zealand will struggle unless they have the bowlers to counter the attack and normally the grounds are really small and as a spinner it is hard to contain the runs and it will be another clean sweep and the odds are not that great either.
956  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: March 28, 2021, 03:58:41 AM
Tyron Woodley should win this fight if not he will be released as he is on a loosing streak and i might bet on Abubakar Nurmagomedov as he is from the same camp of Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Tyron Woodley lost another fight, he started aggressively but he was caught flush throwing punches and his legs gave out and then Vicente Luque was able to choke him out. Abubakar Nurmagomedov won the fight and Sean O'Malley had a good fight as well.

The main event is here and i am not placing a bet but watching as a fan. If Francis Ngannou wins it will be a great journey and that is what UFC is looking forward as they can promote him as the scariest champion ever but Stipe Miocic is my favorite and i think he deserves more respect and promotion.

DAMN Francis Ngannou knocks out Miocic
957  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Whyte vs Povetkin II on March 27, 2021 on: March 28, 2021, 12:06:00 AM
That was very quick and it seems that it was really a mismatch? Perhaps I will just wait for some Youtubers to upload so that I can see what really happen. Now we can say that the first win was really a lucky punch?
Even if Alexander Povetkin won the fight because of a lucky punch it is a win as many lost their bet when he lost and so is the reason i stayed away from betting in the rematch. Dillian Whyte won the fight and i was expecting the fight to go to the later rounds but Dillian Whyte was able to knock him out in the 4th round.

The next opponent for Dillian Whyte will be Deontay Wilder if he is ready to accept the fight or he might fight Andy Ruiz Jr.
958  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: March 27, 2021, 11:42:49 PM
Today starts the first T20 match between New Zealand and Bangladesh. I hope we see a more competitive T20 series then the ODI series which New Zealand won easily. The good thing with T20 cricket is that is some what more even and even though Bangladesh had a poor ODI series they can bounce back in this series. I still think New Zealand will win the series but hopefully its more evenly matched between the two teams.
I find it hard to see a competitive match between Bangladesh and New Zealand until New Zealand give opportunity to the young players and rest the established players. It is not an easy task for top teams to defeat New Zealand in their ground and Bangladesh is not having success outside the subcontinent and if the pitch is not helping their spinners they usually struggle badly.
959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING POLL ADDED] FURY vs JOSHUA: A Two Fight Deal Has Already Been Signed !! on: March 27, 2021, 11:21:22 PM
Bringing a new trainer or team member to assist in an already established group of highly focused people will create problems. Either a new member (be it Mayweather or anyone else) should have entered the training camp from day one to minimise disruption or should not enter at all.
The dates are not fixed yet and if they want to consider that there is enough time for the fight then there is no problem in adding extra coaching staff and many fighters have done that in the past to have additional input as an assisting coach and the head coach remains the same.

If the government gives the permission the fight will take place in Wembley Stadium with full capacity according to Eddie Hearn and the offer stands from Arab nations as well to host the fight.
960  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Madness/Insanity in sports betting/gambling on: March 27, 2021, 10:03:58 PM
What are your thoughts on these trend of mad or insane people running predictions for sane persons. It feels unreasonable but, its happening and most times in underdeveloped nations.
I have no idea what you are talking about, why would anyone go to an insane person who is not having any idea of the sport ask for prediction. To predict the outcome of a sport you need to follow the team religiously and follow the team news and then you are able to make a prediction and that too most of the time cannot be accurate and here you are talking about some stupid belief  Cheesy.
