I wanted to see the match, one of the best Test series i have seen in a long time as all the matches were competitive and it is unfortunate that the players and the staff members are getting positive left and right. Not sure how they are getting when they are living in a bubble or are they breaching the bubble to get infected ?.

The official statement was, India could not field a team for the final Test. They have a long list of players and yesterday the news was everyone tested negative and now what happened.
322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Do You Know Of Nfts Project That Are In The Seed Capital Stage?? on: September 09, 2021, 11:59:27 PM
What I see is actually very different from what you said, because some people who make money through NFT are playing games and selling game characters to others, because there are not many large NFT game characters so the price can be very expensive.
What are the games, i am yet to venturing into NFT games. I purchased a few a resold a few just to see how the market is developing and to see what the buzz is all about. It was fun but the high ETH fees is killing all the fun even if you want to purchase sometimes. List me a few NFT games and i will try them out, because the last time i checked i could not find anything interesting.
323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PancakeSwap Vs Sushiswap – Which is Better? on: September 09, 2021, 09:11:08 PM
I used PancakeSwap simply because the tokens i invested in the past few months were on the BSC chain and i am yet to use SushiSwap but i still remember when the creator ran away with the money and then Binance forced him to return some of the funds and with that grey reputation i will pass using them as i am not comfortable using them as there are several other options to trade.

Through this match, India proved that they have the potential to be the best team in the Test format. However, the future outcome of the match cannot be predicted when two strong teams play against each other. Any miracle can happen at any time in the match. It would not be surprising if England won this match.
India is the best team in Test cricket for the past few years, they went to Australia and despite having a terrible first match and with a depleted team due to injury they turned to series upside down and won the series even without having the best playing eleven and they are continuing that same performance in England. If India can win touring Australia and England, India can literally beat any team touring.

I thought Shardul Thakur will be the Man of the match as he played an instrumental part in this match with the bat and ball in India winning the match.
325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin/ETH replace fiat someday? on: September 06, 2021, 09:07:35 PM
~
This is true, one clear example of this is Zimbabwe, after the disaster their fiat currency became and after other foreign currencies became the money people used on their everyday transactions the government tried to impose once again their currency causing yet another crisis, so even if bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies could deliver a knockout blow to fiat currencies and destroyed them in the process governments will at a later time try to reintroduce their fiat currencies as a great deal of their power derives from them.
I am not following the Zimbabwe economic crisis and i have not heard about them enforcing others to use their currency once again. When i check about the worst ten economies in the world i did not see Zimbabwe. Iran comes first along with Vietnamese Dong. Suppose even if the government enforces will the people change their methods and start accepting their currency or look for a stable one.
326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what's wrong with uniswap? on: September 06, 2021, 07:09:33 PM
recently uniswap reported about the fee on 27/8/2021 with a fantastic fee price, because many altcoins use uniswap swaps, What do you think?
There is nothing that can be done by Uniswap regarding the fees, the Ethereum fees is off the roof and the hardfork is in motion and it will take long time to see the fees coming down, no idea how long it will take but for months you need to manage with these high fees if you are using any ERC 20 tokens. Many projects are providing multi chain options to overcome these situation.
327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gas Fee Of BNB Is Increasing on: September 06, 2021, 06:24:06 PM
Increasing demand of BSC network and many projects to launch in this network, network fee has increased slightly. However, this additional fee is negligible compared to other networks. So I don't think it's time to worry about fees. Instead I would like to thank CZ for creating BSC.
You need to thank CZ for literally copying everything and creating his own, i would like to see something authentic from him  Tongue. Have you tried Polygon (Matic) the fees are really low. I am not having complaints about the fees in BSC network compared to Ethereum and how stupid the fees are and yet the price keeps on moving higher which i really cannot understand the logic.
328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: September 06, 2021, 02:41:15 PM
Joe Root gone!!!! Shardul Thakur bowls the ball of the series and castles the England captain. Now I feel that it's just a matter of time before India takes the three remaining wickets. And they will go up by 2-1 in this series.
Full credits to India and the bowlers, from England reaching a century partnership for the first wicket and then to come back from that position and pick 7 wickets is incredible and India changed the match in a session and they are winning matches outside India in a dominant fashion is incredible.

It will be huge relief for Kohli, who was facing criticism from all quarters for including Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane, as well as for his decision to keep Ravichandran Ashwin out of the playing XI. All that is going to vanish after this win, and Kohli's position as the captain is guaranteed for another 2-3 years at least.
Virat Kohli and the coach is getting off with their terrible performance because they have an incredible bowling lineup and Jasprit Bumrah is bowling tight line and length at a good pace and they are able to pick wickets despite the absence of Mohammed Shami and Ashwin.

Edit: Another wicket gone.
329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: MEME coins are good to invest? on: September 06, 2021, 12:00:01 AM
If you entered the market a few months back then you would have profited from the rally because all the coins in the market rallied, even dead ones which i thought will never rally had their price going up and the meme tokens was promoted by a few shills who was instrumental in taking the valuation to levels we have not seen, do not expect these rallies all the time and if you want to take risk then it is your individual choice.
330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will "De-Fi" beat Banks sometime in the future? on: September 05, 2021, 11:43:19 PM
In my opinion, maybe not because Crypto huge risk they don't have any office or something where people can ask for their loss or something other side bank have this kind of facilities and people need Trust security not risk
If you look at the good projects majority have offices but i did not understand the loss part. If you are trading in the stock market do you go to the stock exchange and raise your complaints and see how you accumulated the loss. If you end up in a loss it is fairly simple, you did not study the project and you took the risk and lost your money.

Defi will not only kill banks in the future but destroy their operations. I can provide liquidity for USDT-USDC and earn some decent coins which appreciate in value than the stable coin itself without been censored, and can stake my money and unstake at will without having to fill any paper and no need for central approval. Although at the moment, the risk are there like coin dumping, rug pulling, flash loan exploit and contract bug. A lot still need to be done, we shall get there.
Since you very well said about the negative aspect, do you think it can ever replace the baking sector. How about you want to make any transactions and purchase cryptocurrency or invest in a new project, the only option is you use the baking system.
331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will dogecoin drop to $0.2 again? on: September 05, 2021, 11:13:10 PM
Dogecoin price hit $0.3 right now, and its price is increasing day by day. I think doge price is being affected by bitcoin and etherem. Because the price of both coins is significantly increasing right now. So doge price is followed.
There is no entanglement with Dogecoin and Bitcoin or ethereum, if you looked at the past few months, the price of Dogecoin rallied whenever Elon Musk was tweeting about it and it rallied irrespective of what the market valuation of Bitcoin was at that stage. If anyone is expecting huge value appreciation in Dogecoin all you need to contact is Elon Musk Tongue.
332  Economy / Economics / Re: El Salvador retirees protest against Bitcoin as legal tender on: September 05, 2021, 10:46:17 PM

No offense - you know poorly the psychology of people and society Smiley They always remember the worst - this is a fact. There is even an anecdote, a little vulgar, but I will cite it to understand how society thinks (please do not be offended by the content - this is just an anecdote):
I liked the anecdote but you need to explain it further as many will be looking at this and think that it is a bloody Christopher Nolan movie script  Cheesy.
psychology of people and society is that they always remember the worst but there are many who create a topic in speculation who never owned anything substantial and talks about how the market correction in cryptocurrency burned them as if the rest of the financial market levitates without any correction.

When it comes to the protest i stand by the protesters because that is not how a bloody government implements rules. You need to give everyone the opportunity and listen to every parties and clear their doubts and then implement it in multiple phases rather than rushing everything and confusing the general public who have no idea about Bitcoin.

333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: September 05, 2021, 09:58:56 PM
It's such a hard time to watch these teams like Sri Lanka and South Africa suffocate for quality players when they had greats like Sanga, Mahela, Jayasuriya for Sri Lanka and Kallis, Pollock, Smith for Africa. This all happened to these countries because of the lack of a proper domestic structure to produce players.
Lack of domestic structure might be a reason but the big problem i see is grooming young players and that is a big drawback i see even for teams like Australia. The names you mentioned, Kumar Sangakkara and Mahela Jayawardene retired from cricket back to back and that will create a big void and the selectors did not groom players to replace them and that is the case with South Africa.

Teams like Bangladesh are doing well recently because they have good leagues at the domestic level and similarly India, England and Australia they all have good leagues which keep producing quality players tested against word-class bowling.
India and England improved their game while West Indies is a shell of what they are capable of in the past and Australia is an average team at best when you compare how they dominated word cricket for decades. The quality of Pakistan fast bowlers went down drastically and New Zealand is maintaining their position as the dark horse and South Africa who had all rounders till the end is struggling to find genuine all rounders.
334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is only new to the newbie on: September 05, 2021, 08:35:21 PM
I am still not surprised that many people leaving in this era still don't know about Bitcoin or digital currencies. I was discussing with some one about bitcoin and it's achievements over the years and how this past few years has gained massive ROI for investors and he was so concerned about how people got scammed using online platforms giving negative attributes to Bitcoin to him bitcoin is a Ponzi scheme.
There are many who fell for scamsters who advertised themselves as Bitcoin miners or some sort of corny positions and scammed the hell out of people. Even when you google you will find many scam websites popping up, not sure whether it is the same now. People used to search for mining and they fell into the hands of scammers and ponzi doublers and once they loose the money they will not further try to learn about the market.
335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 59% of Bangladeshi are interested to see Bitcoin legal here on: September 05, 2021, 06:05:20 PM
Someone on r/bangladesh had created a poll on Bangladeshi people's perspective on legalization of bitcoin and other cryptocurrency. Although the sample size is too small, 59% people think that Bitcoin should be legalized in the country. On the other hand, 29% people think that it shouldn’t be legalized  while the rest ~12% don't even know what the heck is Bitcoin.

Though sample size is small, still it represents a certain amount of people from which 59% want to see Bitcoin as legal. This is somewhat good in my opinion.
Since the sample size is low, the fun fact would be that 29% of the users does not even understand what Bitcoin is to begin with. They saw some tabs to click and they just clicked them for their satisfaction Grin. Another options is that they cannot understand the language and randomly clicked something. Anyone who is in the cryptocurrency market want the government to allow them to go about their business and not restrict them.
336  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: September 05, 2021, 05:34:52 PM
I just loved the way sardul thakur bats, 50 in both the innings is a great achivement where top order batsman are struggling to score those runs shardul is doing it with ease, specially 3-4 straight drive that he played just loved that.
Shardul Thakur scored half centuries in both the innings and he looks like a solid player who plays some textbook shots and he can be a proper all rounder for India. I am actually surprised that India was able to score 466 runs in the second innings. India started well and the pitch looks helpful for batting and England still needs 307 runs to win which is a huge task considering how weak their middle order is if Root is not able to perform.
337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is NFT a Future of Crypto? on: September 04, 2021, 11:58:50 PM
You cannot call NFT the future of cryptocurrency but it is a major step in the cryptocurrency evolution as the art is attracting new users in the cryptocurrency market which is helping the artist the big way and sharing the profit with the help of these platforms is huge for these talented artist. May be in the next five years we will see some other hype ruling the market.

There are no experienced players in the Srilankan team, and there is no continuity of their performance. They scored 300 runs in the first match. They lost all their wickets by only 197 runs in today's match. The first 4 batsmen have failed to perform well. And even the last players could not help the team in any way.
The same inexperienced team won the first match and as eaLity said above the pitch might be difficult to bat in the second innings. Sri Lanka won the first match and South Africa was close but they were not able to maintain the run rate and end up loosing and in the second one Sri Lanka crumbled under pressure and lost wickets at regular intervals.

Bangladesh will maintain their dominance in the upcoming matches. Since New Zealand's team does not have experienced players, winning will be very difficult for them. It is very difficult to perform well on such a pitch without an experienced player. Yet Tom Latham has proved his worth. If any other player can perform well with him in the next match then maybe they can beat Bangladesh team.
Just one extraordinary performance from a player could change the match upside down but we are yet to see some youngsters making a name for themselves in recent times for New Zealand. Even in the last match Tom Latham batted till the end but he could not take the team home even though they had 5 wickets left and that is a terrible situation when you have wickets in hand yet not able to go for the win.
340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: September 04, 2021, 11:01:03 PM
India requires more 300 runs, because England's performance can go high in no time due to its home ground advantage. Till date 418 is the highest score thats been chased by any team on test cricket. Based on that Indian team will try to reach 450 runs and end the innings. Lets see, by tomorrow's session we can conclude the end result of the game.
It is not easy to chase 280 runs in the final two days let alone a score of 418 runs in England. I am not sure where those matches are played where the team batting last chased down 418 runs but it is impossible in pitches like England and Australia. May be those were flat tracks without any help for the bowlers, if India could set a target of 280 and above then it will be a competitive match.
