781  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Cardano hit $3? on: May 09, 2021, 08:37:36 PM
Most people would like to discuss Dogecoin because it has a high possibility to hit $1 soon. But will cardano has a chance to hit $3?
With the price of Dogecoin reaching new levels that no one thought was possible, who knows how much the price of Cardano can rally. I am yet to hold any major amount of coins in Cardano and i still think that the present valuation is high enough and to double the valuation from the current price is possible as long as the we are in the bull market.
782  Economy / Speculation / Re: CoinDesk editor believes Bitcoin will hit 1 million per coin. on: May 09, 2021, 08:11:18 PM
Not only does CoinDesk editor having a belief that the price of Bitcoin will hit a million dollars but there are many in the cryptocurrency market that believe that the price would hit a million dollars per coin. I can very well say that i am not expecting any of these valuations simply because it does not make any sense if the transaction charge keeps on increasing with every rally and to have a million valuation we need to have a much better scaling solution than we have now, then i would say it is realistic.
783  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lucky Bitcoiner on: May 09, 2021, 06:36:40 PM
I have watched this video too but we can't really tell the source of those bitcoins. What if the guy stole bitcoins or had done some illicit activities to get those bitcoins ?
That is the point, there were many scammers in the Bitcoin space and there were many who ran away with huge number of coins and who knows what is the source of his coins. I am not having huge apartments like he is having but i am having a good life without any loans and i had a decent amount of profit because of the cryptocurrency investment i had and i too feel that i am lucky on that aspect.
784  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: May 08, 2021, 08:38:52 PM
Talking about one-sided matches, a simple majority of the one-sided matches in the ODI world cup involved two test-playing nations. If you don't want any one-sided matches, then you need to restrict the world cup to a 4-team or 5-team event. Big 3 + New Zealand can be given automatic qualification, and one team can be selected from the remainder.
I liked the 10 team format that is played last time and it produced some incredible matches and we had some upsets as well and we witnessed one of the best ODI World Cup ever as the teams tied in the end but England was able to hold the World Cup for the first time and India just lost one match and has the best winning percentage in the tournament.

Increasing the teams means these strong teams will be facing much weaker teams which means we can have run fest and easy betting options, other than that it will make things interesting if the matches are not competitive.

785  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: May 08, 2021, 07:31:35 PM
The situation may improve by October. You may be right. But I am afraid that it may not improve to a degree so that biosecure bubbles won't be required. Also, I don't think that fans will be allowed in to the stadiums. Under these circumstances, it will be better to move the tournament to the United Arab Emirates, because I heard that a majority of the population there have been vaccinated against CoVID 19. And the ICC will benefit from low tax rate as well (actually zero taxes).
It is just our expectations that the situation would improve by October, last year i had the same feeling when everything went downhill and i was expecting the world to be back to normal in a few months and we now almost over one and half years and yet some of the countries are struggling with the second wave of virus and people are dying in the streets.

If the tournament can be conducted in the UAE safely so be it, we need some sort of sporting events to fall back and place some bets and hopefully we will see the World Cup as scheduled.
786  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: May 08, 2021, 05:51:27 PM
Whatever BCCI & PCB is deciding, they should decide fast. I feel they should go ahead with the decision and reschedule all the matches in UAE. BTW does UAE have grounds available to host both the tournaments?
Since the last tournament was conducted in UAE i think they have three stadium and i do not think they can conduct both these tournaments simultaneously. Both the cricket bodies have to talk to each other and make their decision as they cannot wait for a much longer time as it could affect other tournaments as well which are scheduled earlier, all of these plan if the pandemic situation changes if not we might not see the scheduled matches as well.
787  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: May 08, 2021, 05:03:28 PM
If you followed everything that is happening with Diego Sanchez and his release from UFC than you MUST WATCH this training session with his weird coach, boyfriend and guru Joshua Fabia,
I promise you you will not be disappointed after watching it  Cheesy and you can type Joshua Fabia in youtube for more crazy videos.
Diego Sanchez is crazy enough to find a idiot like Joshua Fabia who took the mantle of the worst MMA coach from Edmond Tarverdyan and i have no idea how an experienced fighter like Diego Sanchez would be fooled by a wannabe and even go to the distance of spoiling his career and i bet he might be spending all his savings for this stupid.
788  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: May 08, 2021, 02:58:47 PM
But it seems Babar Azam was thinking something different, instead of looking for Abid Ali to score triple century, he might be looking for victory from this test match; that must be a reason why he had declared when Nauman Ali got out for 97 runs. Abid Ali really showed his character; yes batting all through the innings definitely needs lots of patience in test cricket. He definitely deserves a triple century but I will not blame the decision of a skipper for teams' victory sake.
You already had the answer for the reason why Babar Azam declared the innings rather than allowing Abid Ali to score a triple century, the strike rate is really low and it will take more than two session even if he reaches his triple century and they need to send Zimbabwe now and try to pick wickets so that they can give a small break for the bowlers before sending Zimbabwe for the second time.
789  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My thoughts about Primedice on: May 07, 2021, 11:53:39 PM
I can understand your sentiments and smaller bonus and the team is focusing on the new platform and you need to understand there might be a reason for that as Stake is a much bigger site with multiple games and sports betting is also included and there is lot of new users than in Primedice and hence you should expect them to give out more. One thing you should understand is that no one compelled you to gamble and you are free to do anything and choose any website of your choice but never expect we are entitled for bonuses all the time.
790  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - June 6 on: May 07, 2021, 10:54:33 PM
Has anyone ever seen something as insane as what just happened between Jake Paul & Floyd Mayweather?  Nothing comes to my mind.  I feel like if nobody gets any charges against them, this will be the biggest mega fight in PPV dollars of all time.  Not deservingly so, but I wouldn't be surprised.  It's living up to the hype so far and they're just getting started.  I hope Jake didn't ruin his brother's shot.
I have seen many altercations like this in boxing and this is nothing new, the high profile altercations like that were Bernard Hopkins and Felix Trinidad and you can watch in Youtube when Mike Tyson and Lennox Lewis had a big altercation and many more in the past.

Made a thread for the incident here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5335784.0
I cannot understand why the thread is moved to off topic. Looks like the moderators are not looking at the content before moving, seen many times when someone reports they will not look inside the thread before moving. Roll Eyes

Terrorist attack can be planned in India by India to get a excuse for a full fledged war. The same thing which was done in 9/11 attacks to get a excuse to go all in against the "Taliban's". Also its high time that we also test our nuclear weapons to see how well they perform.
No idea about the war between India and Pakistan but i know they are not friendly countries but when you talk about other things you need to have facts, people died when the fucking terrorist hijacked multiple aeroplane and crashed into buildings and it is not a bed time story, no idea from where you are doctrine to have these kind of conspiracy theories that 9/11 is created as an excuse to attack Taliban Roll Eyes.
During that period there were attacks in different parts of the world like London, France etc and you think all these countries came together to create a plan to attack other countries Roll Eyes.

BCCI announced their squad for the WTC finals against NZ and England tour.
The Indian team is really strong and there will be a selection confusion about who will be in the playing eleven.
792  Other / Off-topic / Re: GOTCHA HAT aka Jake Paul! on: May 07, 2021, 03:42:29 PM
I saw the brawl and initial i thought it was done to promote the fight but then he snatched his hat and Jake Paul had a black eye and hence i think it was a serious altercation and even Floyd Mayweather said he is ready to fight both Jake Paul and Logan Paul on the same night and i am certain Floyd Mayweather can fight them both on the same night and win.
793  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB to $1k? on: May 06, 2021, 11:47:46 PM
So holding BNB is the best thing we have to do right now, my advice is
not to rush to sell our BNB. We have to be patient until the target of $ 1000 can be achieved, hopefully by the end of this year BNB
can reach the price of $ 1000.
There is nothing wrong the holding the coin as long as the market is in the bull run, i wonder what would be the price once the market starts its correction. I am expecting a huge fall in price and i wont be surprised if the valuation goes below $50 as well because the rally happened recently and anything can happen when the market is falling like we saw in ETH during the last correction.
794  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin be hijacked by world billionaires??? on: May 06, 2021, 11:36:04 PM
What do you think the current situation is, the institutional investors are ruling the market and with the amount of coins they are holding they can determine where the market goes. If you consider the Bitcoin market as a speculative market then you are attracting these heavy investors who could pump the market with their money and they will book their profit whenever they want and if you are not careful you will end up burning your asset as well.
795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you set stop loss for long term gem? on: May 06, 2021, 10:28:57 PM
Are you considering having a stop loss for every altcoin you bought for long term?
If it is a shit coin then i might consider having a stop loss just to get rid of them when the market is pumping other than that i will never use the stop loss feature as the market moves drastically in certain period of time and even if there is a system crash in the exchange you liquidate all your assets and hence i never tried that feature in recent memory.
796  Economy / Speculation / Re: New Bitcoin support! Fall or rise? on: May 05, 2021, 11:55:35 PM
Exactly, those pump and dump altcoins are not going to sustain it's run. Sooner or later investors are going to dump them hard, and where else they will go? - Bitcoin. That has been the case in the last bull run.

So it doesn't matter how altcoins are doing for now, bitcoin above 50% or even 40% is still healthy for us. And then institutions and whales and retails started to pour their money on the ecosystem, those altcoins are going to be affected for sure.
If you are talking about pump and dump then you need to talk about the entire market and these institutional investors who pumped billions of dollars in the market will dump everything at a later time and when that happens the entire market will have a major correction which includes Bitcoin and you might not see some of the alts rising again after this dump and with regulations expected in the next 3 years we might be seeing the last crazy bull run in the cryptocurrency market.
797  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - June 6 on: May 05, 2021, 11:10:25 PM
That's right, at least Mayweather fight a real boxer, not a popular YouTuber, however, it's his decision and it's up to us if we will support this kind of exhibition, without us, this would not be successful and there will be no more fights like this in the future. It's really easy for him as his opponent has not experienced winning in a boxing match yet based on his record, but Floyd is an undefeated fight at different championships, which means easy form him or easy money.
Respect the age of Floyd Mayweather as he is 44 years old and if he thinks that he can do a few exhibition fights and make some money then it is his choice, i still love to see Floyd Mayweather fighting Manny Pacquiao and if that could be their final fight i would not mind as both are well past their time in terms of age even though they are high level fighters that they could defeat anyone in their weight division and let them have a huge pay day before retirement .
798  Other / Off-topic / Re: Slapping Tournament on: May 05, 2021, 09:49:14 PM
I was watching my favorite streamer MoistCr1tikal doing a side commentary on a Slapping Tournament, and what caught my eye was that it was sponsored by Totalbet, which means that it is a viable betting although I find it easy to bet if you have prior knowledge about who slaps the hardest. Are there any betting site that has this for betting?
I have seen something similar, two people standing opposite like arm wrestling and then he punch the shit out of each other unless one quit and it looks like really brutal as it is straight punches to the face and you cannot even defend them. I guess slapping competition is similar and to be frank it is difficult to know who is going to win even if you know who has the hardest slap as these small tournaments can be rigged.
799  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - June 6 on: May 03, 2021, 10:07:30 PM
I doubt a of his followers will purchase a PPV just to watch this fight, the fans maybe love his youtube content but his boxing skills is not good, and the fact that he is fighting against Mayweather, that will put him in big trouble if he gets seriously hurt.
I agree with that, his millions of followers might not purchase the PPV but one thing i can say is that Floyd Mayweather will not seriously hurt anyone let alone Logan Paul who is a much bigger fighter and if Mayweather is not able to knockout any boxer in his weight category then there is no way he will be able to knockout anyone in a higher fight division.
800  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do I need to pay Tax on my Crypto Gambling Winnings? A guide on: May 03, 2021, 09:23:43 PM
It’s good if they have winners and they will get the full amount of price but usually in other country like mine there are many rules to follow and deductions to be able to claim the rewatds and those deductions are said to go in taxes.
Gambling wins and rewards have a much bigger taxation but the advantage we have with online gambling is that we do not need to disclose the government that the earnings are from gambling and it is not that hard to set up a online job and provide these earnings as freelance payment and the only problem is you cannot withdraw very large amounts at once to avoid scrutiny.
