821  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to make money from Bitcoin in 2021 on: April 30, 2021, 02:31:28 PM
I sold bitcoin for almost $ 60,000 and am waiting for $ 20-30,000 to buy it back. I don't even consider other ways to make money with Bitcoin in 2021. I've never had any luck with that. By selling bitcoin, I run the risk of staying in fiat, but bitcoin will still give a good correction someday. By participating in any investment projects, I risk either losing everything or earning a small percentage
If you already sold all the coins then you need to wait for the market to have a correction to invest in it once again. I am sure majority of the investors are waiting for that to happen especially anyone who sold all of their holdings. Just have the patience to wait for the market to go down and just do not risk investing in experimental projects unless you think that it will reap you the profits.
822  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nexon Purchases $100 Million Worth of Bitcoin on: April 29, 2021, 11:47:59 PM
It wasn't felt enough because of the timing of the buys, besides billions worth of bitcoin has just expired again, so I think it just offset these huge buys. In any case, Nexon says that they are in for the long haul so let's see the effect in the next coming months.
The market did not see any major changes and it is good to see that companies are following the Tesla model to invest huge amount in bitcoin and we should not expect them to hold for the long haul, if they get the chance to book the profit they will gladly do so without thinking twice and i am expecting more news like this about companies investing huge amounts in cryptocurrency as their assets.
823  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we all fools on believing the word "HOLD"? on: April 29, 2021, 03:27:37 PM
I also experienced that with Minexcoin, I do believe that they can be the future of staking and they also launch their Minexbank. I also let my token in their wallet and stake their knowing that they will become more valuable in upcoming years and now they gone along with my token.
There were many coins that started before the last bull run with huge promises and many of the projects said they had hurdles overcoming regulatory issues and if i remember correctly the Minex bank by the minexcoin also had issues with the authorities giving them the license and that is what is said by the developers and then they left the project. We can see many projects that had the same story and i only know what they said but they all collected money and then they were able to keep majority of the money and never compensated the investors.

Brett Lee did the right thing by donating in the form of cryptocurrency. There are powerful people in the government and bureaucracy, who want to ban cryptocurrency for their own selfish motives. With this transaction Brett Lee proved that cryptocurrency can be used for the benefit of those who are in need. In the social media, the news about the donation has gone viral and it will help the Bitcoin cause in India. And being an Indian, I am really thankful to both Brett Lee and Pat Cummins, for helping us in such an adverse situation.
How come Brett Lee donated using bitcoin, is he representing any cryptocurrency company or is he an cryptocurrency enthusiast which we never knew. Heard the situation is worse than anywhere in the world hopefully they will get over the situation soon.

After losing two matches in a row, Mumbai Indians are now playing against Rajasthan Royals. RR gave a target of 172 runs in 20 overs. Not a very big target. If MI's top-order batsmen perform well, then MI will easily win today. I would like to see a good inning from de Kock and Rohit Sharma.
Rajasthan Royals has to pick wickets to put pressure back to Mumbai Indians as they need 55 runs in 38 balls and with wickets in hand they can easily reach the target.

However finally losing more wickets same score could've been reached. Star players can't be hero's of the game everytime.
Making the right decisions every once in a while will make them a star. Chennai Super Kings is the only team that is performing beyond my expectation and is lead by retired India player Ms Dhoni and yet every time he makes the right decision this season even though he is yet to perform with the bat and hence they are winning all the time. If you compare their last years performance it is a starking contrast with the way they are playing this season

A few Australian players have left India on "personal reasons" but I think it has something to do with the rising cases of COVID in India. I am honestly not sure how him withdrawing from IPL will protect the family. I'm sure players are under strict conditions and being monitored. The only reason I can think of is his wife (And kids) are with him in the Bio-Bubble and are uncomfortable to stay in the Bubble and he had to choose to either come out of the bubble with the family or stay and he chose to get out.
I did not notice the Australian player leaving the IPL, who all left due to personal reasons, you cannot blame anyone to withdraw from the competition as life and health is more important than money and during stressful situation like these seeing huge death counts in India is saddening. Pat Cummins  also donated $50k as charity for the problem stricken poor people in India and i do not even know whether it is safe or even on moral grounds to conduct a tournament like this.
827  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Creators of Dicing 🎲 | 60+ Billion Bets | 113+ BTC Jackpot! on: April 26, 2021, 11:50:36 PM
~snip~
The support says that they cannot refund you because you have gambled with it so there's no glitch or error on it, you played with the amount that you're asking to be refunded.
So this is his usual game, when ever he looses he comes here and starts a scam accusation. I have seen his thread he created and checked his profile after Stuna explained his obsession to come out every year and start an accusation and now things are clear because he is still playing in Primedice and never once said his problems are solved.
828  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you limit your gambling time? on: April 26, 2021, 10:58:04 PM
4 hours a day seems like quite a long time. Are you sure you are in control all four hours? I mean, I am sure there is people who can do it, but I personally would be keen on restricting my playing to one hour a day. I take it that it also depends on the game, since poker can be more active and you can keep playing longer with small bets, but betting on casinos and the like... 4 hours may be a small fortune I would say.
If you are able to play 4 hours a day that means either you have a much bigger bank balance to play longer or you are wagging really small amounts. I do not spend this much long, i do play some games here and there according to my mood and my main is sports betting and there were times when i busted completely in the casino and with the transaction charges higher it will take much longer to get the coins confirmed and hence i do have the patience to stay away from it as well Grin.

Check out this horror gallery of Weidman braking a leg and shocked face of Uriah Hall after that.
Surgery was completed all good, Weidman is on the long recovery road now and I think this year is finished for him for any training and fighting.
Him being 36 old fighter with six defeats from his last eight fights makes me think that it's time for him to finally retire.
Chris Weidman should retire and even when Anderson Silva got the same injury he should have retired but he still continued and from one of the best fighters in the world at that stage he never really won any fights after that and went on a loosing streak and here Chris Weidman was on a loosing streak before breaking in leg and it is not that wise for him to return.

Time to move to next UFC event Reyes vs. Prochazka and I have to be honest and say that I never watched Prochazka fighting so far, but I can see he is KO specialist so I am expectig great fight.
It will be a short fight as both will be looking to make a statement and then fight for the title.
830  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has the world become greedier since BTC? on: April 26, 2021, 09:02:35 PM
It's not a strange fact, however, as there are more than 7 billions of humans in this world so far, and increasing day by day. Where are these people going to get money for a living? Bitcoin and crypto in general look a promising alternative for many.
If you think that cryptocurrency is a promising alternative i am also not against that as there are many things that can be achieved by the cryptocurrency market place but to come out with innovative business ideas you need to be skillful enough to generate the income you are looking forward and we are living in a time when you can start a global business if you have an internet connection and even if you are not in the cryptocurrency market you can successfully start any business.

832  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: April 26, 2021, 05:08:12 PM
The Indian government has imposed lockdown in several states. The condition of Delhi is very bad due to a lack of oxygen. Many people are not getting out of the house. We can't call it bad if people are entertained by watching IPL. Maybe the situation in India is very bad. But if you sit at home all day without any healthy entertainment, people can have various mental problems. And besides, IPL is a billion-dollar business. BCCI will not close it at this time.
I have seen reports that Ravichandran Ashwin withdrew from the IPL to protect his family against the rising case of Covid in India but i have not heard about any other players withdrawing from the situation. I do understand that the situation is really worse in India and i am surprised that the players from England and other countries are willing to continue in a volatile situation.
833  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Learn to laugh even if Bitcoin is crashing on: April 26, 2021, 02:33:17 PM
Frankly speaking, the price of altcoins didnt tank much with respect to BTC pair so I didnt get much opportunity from this crash, its just a healthy correction and BTC is above 52k$ now which is a good sign and looks boolish at this moment. I dont see any red in my portfolio at this moment but will be waiting for something to come down and I get an opportunity.
It depends upon which coins in the altcoin market you were watching. Coins like XRP, Polkadot and Doge had a much bigger correction than Bitcoin, i was expecting a much bigger correction but the market seems to be consolidating and having a good support around $49500 to $50,000 and the market was trying to move higher and we will see how the market will perform in the next 48 hours.
834  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin wasn’t created to make you rich. It was created to Enslave U & Track U on: April 26, 2021, 01:23:18 PM
If you think that Bitcoin is a trap to enslave you and track everything then you have the power to not use them. It is your choice and i am not doing anything illegal with my investment and even if a government wants to track my transaction i do not care but i need the privacy from the general public as i do not want to expose how much money i hold to anyone but naturally you cannot hide anything from the government.

We are living in a world where everything is monitored and no one will claim that bitcoin is created to make you rich but to be more transparent. Basically anyone who reaches a market during the initial stages will make a huge profit and you cannot say that about a user who invests in the market a decade later as the profits will be minimal like the other markets.
835  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 'Gold in the Hand', versus 'Chinese Bitcoin' in the Bush - What has REAL Value? on: April 26, 2021, 10:35:09 AM
I'm quite sure that Bitcoin will replace Gold as the main proof-of-value/hedge solution in times of crisis soon. You see... the psychology of humanity is starting to change. Gold is so praised because it held its value through crisis for thousands of years. But remember... past performance is not indicative of future performance. Together with the abrupt technologization of the society changes are produced at psychological level. Many traditions are no longer respected, new "traditions" take their places. This is how evolution works.
I am not convinced about that, if there is only Bitcoin in the cryptocurrency space then we should have said that it is special, general investors look at the cryptocurrency market and see thousands of coins, literally codes with different names and they do not see anything special as well. Past performance is not indicative for the future performance but if gold is viewed as a source of wealth for thousands of years you cannot expect that to change all of a sudden.

Gold is not that scarce - we don't know how much more is there to mine on Earth, how much are we going to be able to recycle in the future or if we're going to be able to synthesize it labs or find it on other planets or asteroids. Gold has its value, I'm not denying it, but Bitcoin, especially at this price in my opinion is a no-brainer choice.
I have seen an article about an asteroid filled with gold and the space agencies are making planning to route that to earth, if it is possible then we might see abundance in gold and the price might go down.
836  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: INSTITUTIONAL INVESTORS ARE WAITING TO BUY BACK LOWER. on: April 26, 2021, 08:49:08 AM
Do you really think think the institutions are stupid?
If they buy in it will be the real low.
The real problem right now is the institutions that bought above $47k, and how they tell their investors about the losses, and how they keep their investors from pulling funds.
If the financial advisor is stupid then even these institutional investment firm can produce blunders, not sure what was their target when they were investing heavily when the price was above $47k but there must be a target in mind they were looking for. Lets presume that they will tell the investors about the loss, do you think these micro investors are stupid enough to hear them and do nothing.

Remember that all institutional investing was either borrowed COVID money like Musk, or its OPM from hedge-funds and banks. These losses over the past 14 days amounted to $350B USD, so somebody is going to suicide. It's not even Monday AM yet in NYC, we don't know anything.
For this we do not have much evidence whether these investments were borrowed money, if you have any valid source you can link here.
837  Economy / Exchanges / Re: 32% drop in the value of shares of Coinbase after the fall in the price of Bitc on: April 26, 2021, 03:43:09 AM
I think the fact that their team sold a lot of their shares is more impactful compared to the crypto market price. It feels like they're trying to blame the market instead of a bunch of people who clearly dump their shares and make some nice profits.
Forbes might have created his aspect as they published an article regarding the fall of Coinbase share and they are blaming the cryptocurrency market for the fall and the business model of Coinbase and they did not mention about the heavy sell off made by the company where the CEO Armstrong liquidated  $292 million and if you are liquidating that much share then it is natural that the market would go down.
838  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is the gas price so high on Ethereum? on: April 25, 2021, 11:27:09 PM
Yes, it is true. During the bullrun, the gas price to send ETH very expensive. We can understand it because many people become more active to send their ETH. This may be one of the reasons for the expensive price of ETH gas. But as I stated above, the gas price has just dropped significantly. I hope the gas price can stay at the current rates, or not increase significantly again.
The upgrades are coming and hopefully we could see a significant drop in gas price, when i last made a transaction it was over $20 to make an ETH transaction and since those were crazy charges i stopped sending the coins and even though i needs to send some tokens i am not willing to make further transactions because of the high fees.
839  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: April 25, 2021, 01:16:30 PM
I was just watching the over with awe. Jadeja just single handedly destroyed the RCB bowling.
Ravindra Jadeja single handedly destroyed Royal Challengers Bangalore with the bat scoring 62 from 28 balls and when bowling he picked up three wickets and one direct hit run out and bowled economically. I thought it was going to be a good match up as two of the strong teams were battling but CSK dominated the match and they only need to pick 3 more wickets to win the match.

840  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: April 24, 2021, 10:12:29 PM
Bangladeshi bowler wasn't able to create any pressure there. Now we can expect nothing than a draw of this test match.
So the demon was in the pitch that is helping the batsman, Sri Lanka created a pitch so that they do not get humiliated and now it is a run fest as both the teams can score easily, i thought the pitch would turn in the final two days but i did not see any difference and Dimuth Karunaratne scored his first double century and Dhananjaya de Silva is playing the supporting role and i do not see them declaring the innings unless they have over 300 runs lead.
