961  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: March 27, 2021, 07:10:45 PM
~
No No obviously I was not judging him on the basis of this match only. I don't really agree with his role as a bowler. I mean he is useful sometimes but he is far away from being Jadeja to this team and secondly, he is slightly aged. He is kind of starting his career at age of 30 and won't be able to play for more than 4-5 years. If you give him 1-2 years to secure his place in the team he won't be able to serve the team for more than 2-3 years after that. So instead we should focus more on younger players who can serve the teams for 10 years or more. Sundar is just 21 years in age if you give him 2 years to get the best form he can be the next Kumble for India with much better batting for at least next 12 years.
Jadeja is a proven player and players like Krunal Pandya and Washington Sundar got the opportunities to play because of his injury. India is in a good spot as they are having a lot of talented players and age should not be a factor if they are performing well and they are rotating the players trying to find the best combinations and apart from a couple of players none of the spots are secure.
962  Economy / Speculation / Re: The reasons why Bitcoin price drops recently on: March 26, 2021, 09:44:12 PM
This may also be temporary, in another article they say that the bullish streak of Bitcoin can end with a value of $90k and mention that it can be for the month of April.
It is possible that the price of bitcoin will surge further but April is too earlier for the rally, i am expecting the market to be in the bullish trend for the next few months and even now when there was a minor correction you could see the support filling up with investors readily accepting the coins. The graphs and charts will not provide you anything in situations like these as we are in uncharted territories and i find it hard to understand the direction even though i am in the market for a long time.
963  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: March 26, 2021, 08:06:03 PM
I never liked Krunal too. If you just want a bowling All-Rounder on your side Washington Sundar is a much better option to have. Moreover, with lots of pace-bowling all-rounder, these days even going with two full-time spinners is an option. I feel Ashwin should come back in one day too, he never did anything wrong to be dropped off from the ODI or T20 Squad it was just the craze towards unorthodox bowlers.
Krunal Pandya played his second game and give him some time, today all the bowlers went for runs and you cannot blame him because of one game, he batted well in his debut match and i have seen him striking the ball well in IPL, so you have to give him the opportunity to show his skills. Even i have no idea why Ashwin is not in the shorter format as he is one of the best spinners India had and yet he is not included in the team.
964  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Type of people who buy bitcoin. on: March 26, 2021, 06:01:47 PM
I think it is people who think a lot about the future and find the current situation unsatisfactory. you need courage for change, technical understanding and healthy skepticism, then bitcoin will be a solution. It is also important to want to take a risk, because we do that in the short term ... for more than a decade I see it as a minimal risk.
The problem with majority of the common investors is that they do not want to take much risk and i am not expecting people to invest when the price is this high. It is not about technical understanding as there are none to identify why and when the price will rally unless you have huge investment coming in and small time investors will be cautious about the high volatility as well.
965  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who's gonna buy Tesla using Bitcoin? on: March 25, 2021, 11:53:42 PM
You know bitcoins potential worth in the future which means you are just missing out the opportunity if you do spent all of those.
If you start thinking like that then you will never sell the coins and the idea of bitcoin as a currency will fail. The idea of store of value is still strong and it is good to see companies like Tesla starts accepting bitcoin and hopefully in the next five years we will see more companies opening their doors for bitcoin.

I have sold bitcoin in the past when the price was not even near these valuations and if i think i need a new Tesla then i will sell my bitcoin for the car.

Nkrumah Bonner is still in the crease. These players have funny names  Cheesy.
Yeah there are some funny names in cricket and if you look at the England players funny names (Cook, Buttler and they have Root) you will understand from where they got that hook, may be commonwealth connection  Cheesy.

West Indies drew the match, Sri Lanka played well in the match and i did not expect them to score that much runs in the second innings and if their bowlers were lethal the match would have been interesting.
967  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin after the pandemic on: March 25, 2021, 08:38:57 PM
This pandemic is unlikely to be over but Bitcoin will definitely be even more valuable...
I am not really sure about the days ahead and whether the world will be free from this pandemic but for Bitcoin, I am sure it will continue to be of value, just look at how many institutions are accepting Bitcoin.
The pandemic is not getting anywhere and it is going to be another year wasted, who would have thought we will be loosing a couple of years to a global pandemic but when it comes to bitcoin the only reason that could help the market is because the global economy is struggling and we have no idea how long it will take for the recovery.
968  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: March 25, 2021, 10:57:14 AM
Lets get back to winning ways this next fight night shall we Tongue I've had some terrible weeks ever since the Adesanya night I feel. I know that Stipe is probably the overwhelming favorite from the fans point of view, but at least the odds are fairly stacked. In fact, I'm seeing it favour Ngannou right now, which I would be inclined to agree with. I think Ngannou has better prepared this time out, and I believe he will get the job done with a TKO.
So you are picking Francis Ngannou to win the fight, everyone knows he can end a fight with one punch but Stipe Miocic was smart enough to avoid that in the first fight and whenever he was in any form of danger he always wrestled and Ngannou was gassed out in the first round. If the fight goes to the third round then Stipe Miocic will win the fight as Ngannou always have that power in the first two rounds.
969  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: March 25, 2021, 08:01:40 AM
West Indies were in such a good position. In the first innings, they had a lead of 102 runs. But then the bowlers appeared quite tired when they asked Sri Lanka to follow on.
There was no follow on in the match, West Indies lost the momentum when Sri Lanka came to bat in the third innings of the match and i was surprised to see that Sri Lanka was able to counter the West Indies bowlers and was able to score 476
runs and now West Indies is in the back foot as they have a mountain of runs to win from this situation and they might go for a draw and the match depends upon how Sri Lanka bowlers attack with a large total on board.

Looks like there is a scam accusation here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5325714.msg56626251#msg56626251

It would be great if we know the actual situation on blocking the account. One more doubt is that do you close the account if the coins came from a mixer as per the image posted by the user it says that and i have not heard any situation where a gambling account is closed because they used mixers.
971  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time to sell my BTC? on: March 22, 2021, 11:28:25 PM
Selling half of your BTC is also a good idea since you already gained the profit from your initial capital. Joining or investing on Alternate Cryptocurrencies can make you more versatile within the Cryptocurrency Industry and that move is also another way to involve yourself into a wide variety of Cryptos.
Investing in random alternative currencies will not bring versatility but high risk. From the way i look at the market situation right now, all the major alt coins have rallied a lot and even the potential ones are trading at their all time high barring a few coins and you cannot sell your bitcoin and then invest in those expecting it to rally further  Tongue.
972  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why kids born in 2140 don`t get a chance to mine rewards? on: March 22, 2021, 11:12:33 PM
By 2140, I believe technology is getting more sophisticated, and it is possible that mining will also be more advanced and so that mining vows will be eliminated and replaced with prize money, but who knows in the future? what is there now is to spend money to mine it, and spend money to buy it. Bitcoin has always been and will always be available to everyone as an equal. that's all maybe my opinion
There is no mining vows to be eliminated, efficiency yes there is a problem if you want to pin point and i do not want to see any major changes in the base protocol even centuries from now until we come across some new technology that could replace it which is a possibility and bitcoin will never created to give equal opportunity for everyone all the time Tongue.
973  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: insane fees on eth (uniswap) on: March 22, 2021, 10:56:00 PM
This problem with high commissions occurs mainly in bounty hunters when they try to transfer their earned coins from the wallet to the sale. For those who constantly trade on decentralized exchanges, such commissions are not critical, because the profit received from trading is thousands of dollars.
The small traders are suffering in situations like this and there is no way they are going to trade during these high fees situation thinking they could profit and even big traders who are planning to trade for a much longer time the amount of money they are providing as transaction charges will accumulate and become insane even if they are doing thousands of dollars worth of profit.
If ETH does not fix the issue many chains will migrate the platform from ETH to others.
974  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: March 22, 2021, 10:24:43 PM
The WI are in a strong position to win the first test match against SL after bowling SL out for 169 runs, Holder had a great performance taking 5 wickets. Lahiru Thirimanne tried he's best for SL but there was no one to stay with him to form decent sized partnerships which lead to SL down fall. I'm not going to say the WI are going to win because they are too unpredictable even when in strong winning positions.
West Indies is leading by 99 runs in the match and they still have 3 wickets left and they are in a good position to win the match. Sri Lanka is disappointing with the performance in the past few matches and they are continuing the same in the Test series as well. There is plenty of time left for this match and the match depends upon how Sri Lanka scores in the second innings.
975  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: HODL your ALTCOIN! We are almost on ALT SEASON right now on: March 22, 2021, 08:22:31 PM
So you base your judgement on mare fact that btt and npxs pump, different project having pumping on intervals lately as if they are taking turns to pump, I don't think it is enough to assume the alts season is coming, between there is no way alts will pump without btc influencing it.
The entire market is pumping and we have seen many coins touching their all time high valuation and do you need a third party approval to conduct business  Grin. Whenever there is a pump in the market, the investors are investing in the token market is because they knew that they could reap the profit in a short period of time and you really do not need an influencer to understand that  Cheesy.
976  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PSA: Never delete your old Wallets or Keys on: March 22, 2021, 03:25:32 PM
Some "hacked" exchanges are rumored to want to send payments but only to addresses that you had previously used and can confirm.

Other old dust out there that you might have forgotten about that for whatever reason finally gets sent.
I am not sure i am holding all the wallets which i used in the past but i am certainly holding some of them i my old HDD before moving them to other secure wallets but this is the first time i am hearing that someone is sending money to old wallets, usually if i get money in my wallet from anonymous sources i will be worried as you never know if those are from illegal sources or hacked coins Grin.
977  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: OSCARS 2021- Nominees, Odds and Predictions! on: March 22, 2021, 01:56:48 PM
Has anyone watched all the movies under the best picture nominations during the coronavirus pandemic? I am a big movie goer. But I do not know all of those movies except for The Trial of the Chicago 7 only because it was available on Netflix hehehe.
I am yet to watch all the movies and usually these picks are won by the favorites and rarely you see an underdog winning with these betting lines and even without watching all the favorites should win them this time.

Anyone who watched these movies who has the possibility to win Best Supporting Actress and Best Actress because those were the only things that have two tight lines in terms of acting.
978  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: March 22, 2021, 12:37:45 PM
LOL... most of these players (who are participating in the Road Safety World Series) were playing after such a huge gap, and it is not possible for them to maintain enough fitness level for matches against regular players. It was possible for them to perform in a satisfactory way, because both the teams were comprised of retired players. I don't think that they stand a chance against regular players (even those from weak countries such as Zimbabwe).
If they can pick a legends team among the players that played in this series and then compete against Zimbabwe they will defeat them without a doubt, i am yet to look at the bowlers who could create problem and their fitness but the batsman are in free flow and they were hitting the ball with ease and they can compete again them in the shorter format especially in the T20 format.

979  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Polkadot Good For Future? on: March 21, 2021, 09:40:54 PM
Developers reputations plays well inside this market, look how Vitalik and CZ did, they both have strong knowledge with
what they are doing and now their projects are succesful.
If we talk about the reputation, Vitalik always promised that ETH will never be congested like bitcoin in the past and now he had to backtrack that. CZ has the money power to purchase anything and he is able to attract developers as the ETH network started to irritate small time investors as the fees keeps on creeping higher and i would say both are good salesman   Grin.
980  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: March 21, 2021, 07:17:58 PM
I think Khabib has been officially retired for a while, it was just Dana trying to hype up events, you know "if something special happens he may return". I believe the reasoning for Khabib was his mother asking him not to fight anymore, which although I did think there might be a slight possibility that Conor vs Khabib might happen again, that was quickly erased when Conor lost.
Dana thought he could pursued Khabib to return with huge offers and he had that confidence in him and so was the reason he was waiting and it was evident with every fight card he was trying his best to lure Khabib to fight one more time but he is a man of his words and i was expecting to see one more fight against GSP but it looks he will never return to fight.

For the next main event I've got Holland by TKO. I'll get the rest of my god awful predictions up tomorrow (seriously my last 2/3 weeks have been awful).
The hype of 5 fight winnings streak is gone, i was also expecting Holland to win but the wrestling was too much to handle.
