761  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I see no difference between Elon Musk and McAfee on: May 15, 2021, 11:38:29 PM
From John McAfee to Elon Musk, both influencers are source of entertainment and source of market growth in the crypto community. It's Elon Musk time and we have already experienced what he can do with the market, a master manipulator! Cryptocurrency is supposed to be leaderless, but here's the truth. Heavily we are rely on the influencers, speak for certain coins and then boom. As always people are struggling in term of choices.
May be Elon Musk influenced many to invest in the cryptocurrency market and there were many articles about how people followed his tweets and invested in Doge and was able to make a big fortune and you will see those users stay back and look for more opportunities to make healthy profit in a short period of time. Everything is good in a bull market, we will see what happened when the market turns red, no one will be able to influence anything and that is when the real test starts .
762  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto-Casinos and KYC on: May 15, 2021, 11:09:50 PM
Mostly everyone here usually avoids casino who ask for mandatory KYC and then there are some casinos who asks to verify when you win big and i am skeptical about those casinos as well because they might be looking for ways to avoid paying the winner and we have seen many complaints here in the forum regarding that as they will target on the technicalities about banned countries and so on to avoid giving out the wins. I usually avoid those kind of casinos as well as it is better to inform the users about their general practice whether they will enforce or not before depositing the money.
763  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Cricket Match-Fixing Scandal on: May 15, 2021, 10:01:34 PM
Emirates such as Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi are considered as main operating grounds of the cricket match fixing mafias. And this is one of the reasons why the BCCI decided not to stage any triangular or quadrilateral tournaments there anymore. But now the fixing has spread to other parts of the world as well. And ever since people like Srinivasan and Sharad Pawar got power within the BCCI/ICC, there has been an increase in such incidents.
So you think that match fixing is done with the knowledge from the higher officials, i think it is highly unlikely. BCCI conducted the IPL in UAE which included Emirates such as Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi and if there is fixing it cannot be isolated to one region. Pakistan players were caught when they were involved in spot fixing in a match in England and the rules are strict as these players has to risk their career and the fortune they can make through cricket.
764  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If Musk doesn't tweet Dogecoin, can it still soar? on: May 15, 2021, 07:15:24 PM
Fact is he doesn't stop tweeting and now even announced a collaboration with DOGE developers. It depends on what he tweets and now that he announced a partnership I think a lot of investors hold their breath until they might reveal quite the surprise. For so long most of them will hold their DOGE.
What partnership you are talking about, he is trolling the market and the investors are finding this as an opportunity to pump the coin, all you need to remember is that the market will come down crash and hence be careful whenever he tweets about it. I think the coin has reached its all time high valuation and there is no way it will move further.
So anyone planning to invest now should do so considering the high risk.
765  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will dogecoin drop to $0.2 again? on: May 13, 2021, 11:34:19 PM
Doge can burst at any moment with a good price, Elon Musk has strategies under which he has many traders and investors thinking about what his next move will be.
Everyone is giving Elon Musk undue respect and he is manipulating the markets for a long time. Do you think he has strategies when making these tweets, i highly doubt whether he was planning everything before hand when he started his market concentric tweets but now it has grown to a different level and may be you are right.

I personally think that the price would settle back to $0.2 and i really want that to happen because whenever you feel like gambling you need one coin with low valuation to have some fun time without worrying about loosing a fortune Grin.
766  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: End of memecoin season by Vitalik Buterin or not? on: May 13, 2021, 09:16:38 PM
Meme coin is part of Cryptocurrency culture since the days of doge, just because Vitalik sold his coin  for charity does not mean meme coins will seize to exist in Cryptocurrency.  The hype and euphoric rise may come down giving way to more useful, valuable and important coin that could help Cryptocurrency to grow in quantifiable terms!
Vitalik Buterin sold his coins and gave for charity but from what i understand he sold most of the coins he is holding in other alts as well and i have seen a thread where the details of his transactions are mentioned. May be these meme coins will still continue to gain momentum but the amount of coins Vitalik Buterin is really huge and it will take a really long time before we see any rally in these meme coins.
767  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: May 13, 2021, 06:25:43 PM
Yeah, but Ferguson didn't get his ass completely handed to him. Okay, Justin did smash him up to pieces,  but Ferguson also sat Justin down. Its not like he wasn't in the fight at all. Justin is a massive puncher too, and it was called off due to him wobbling a bit if my memory serves me correctly, he didn't knock him out per say.
Justin Gaethje dominated Tony Ferguson in the fight as he was eating a lot of punches, there is no debate about his toughness and in all of his fights Tony Ferguson gets punched but he always finds a way to win the fight and your memory is right after getting punched in the face multiple times Tony Ferguson refused to go down and the referee had enough and waved off the fight.

I can't remember the Oliveira fight as well, but I think I remember it going to a decision? So, the guys tough, and still has it in him for sure. Plus, don't forget before these two recent losses, he was on a win streak himself. A rather large one actually, more than 10?
In the Charles Oliveira fight it was completely different as it was not that competitive as expected because Charles Oliveira controlled the fight from the start and had him on a nasty arm bar in the first round and Tony refused to tap and if not for the bell he could have easily dislocated his arm and even in the stand up Charles Oliveira was dominant and hence his chin and toughness cannot be questioned.
I am also rooting for Tony Ferguson to win the fight.
768  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I regret selling BTC for entering DeFi. HODLing is the way! on: May 11, 2021, 11:44:51 PM
I'm not really sure if I have to hold Defi for the long term, as it's mostly just hype and it's getting lower and lower over time. Defi is good, but I think it is more suitable for the short term, it's like fast food, if we eat it late then it doesn't taste good anymore. For the long term, I prefer BTC or strong altcoins like eth and bnb, these are more promising.
I am always critical about BNB as you cannot trust them in the long run, you can anticipate changes as they have the funds but i would always choose ETH over BNB and all the hype for DeFi and NFT projects are interesting but you never know how long they will be holding in this competitive space and the investors have an ultimate aim of converting all these profit to Bitcoin. We have seen the similar trend in the past and i am hoping it will continue in the future as well.
769  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Manny Pacquiao vs Mikey Garcia in Dubai on July 2021? on: May 10, 2021, 11:40:11 PM
~
Manny don't need money from boxing as he is a billionaire in the Philippines right now. Manny is a guy who like to face the camera and have that fame because of his political ambition in our country. Rumors have it that he just to fight to keep his popularity afloat because if he will no longer fighter people might not vote for him anymore and that b___s thinking as far as i'm concern.
Do you think that Manny Pacquiao is still fighting to boost his political career, i seriously doubt that, he is already famous and made the money but i do not think he is a billionaire as Floyd is the highest earned boxer and even he never made a billion dollars. The fact is that he is still an elite level fighter and he knows that it is a small window of opportunity where he can perform at that level and as long as he can perform let him do what he likes.
770  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: May 10, 2021, 10:57:32 PM
Here you go... BCCI again scheduling another bilateral series with Sri Lanka.

Interesting thing to notice is they are sending only White ball specialist players as Virat and his test team would be in England hence 2 different team set up (good for work load management as well). Rahul Dravid is also traveling with them.
So will they be named as India or India A that is touring Sri Lanka. We are aware that they have more than enough talents and are they scheduling T20 and ODI which i think is unnecessary, if they are planning to give more exposure to the young players before the T20 world cup then they need to schedule only T20.
The bowling department might be depleted as all the best bowlers will be in England but who knows they might be introducing new talents. Grin
771  Economy / Economics / Re: If we have crypto Why people still buy stocks? on: May 10, 2021, 09:47:09 PM
Why people still buy stocks?
If with crypto much bigger profits *
3% daily gain is nothing If you can get 100% profit with Good coins pump.
How the Hell people Even get rich with stocks with so small profits?
Many people consider the cryptocurrency market as an experiment and they cannot understand the logical sense on why the  market is moving up every few years and you cannot blame them either as the cryptocurrency market is fairly new and anyone who invested in any coin during the early phase made a huge fortune. There are people who really need conviction before entering a market and you cannot force everyone to get interested in a new market.
772  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling risks during coronavirus pandemic on: May 10, 2021, 06:38:57 PM
Gambling online increases  your brain activity which in turn give support to the blood flow in human body preventing the blood clotting in the vessels which is one of  possible COVID19  side effects.  So it's companion to physical activity rather then opposer. Of course you have to alternate your activities and  exercise between gambling sessions.
What form of gambling will increase your brain activity, for me the stress level increases if i am gambling with a higher valuation. You theory of comparing online gambling and physical activities is laughable and there is nothing useful you could gain when you are gambling which will help you with your health, but the pleasure of adrenaline is what you get when you are gambling.
773  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: May 10, 2021, 05:46:44 PM
Perhaps the ICC can change rules to make the matches more competitive. Other teams should be given only one innings per test match, while Zimbabwe should be allowed to bat for two innings. But the problem is that even then there is no guarantee that the matches will be competitive. The total Pakistan scored in their first innings was higher than the combined total Zimbabwe made in two of their innings.
Another better way is to force the Pakistan players who bats right handed to play the match left handed and the left handed batsman to right handed to become competitive Tongue. May be they are playing according to the ICC schedule, either way these type of one sided matches will not help either teams and i will be surprised if there is any substantial viewership for series like these.
774  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What age bracket is perfect for gambling on: May 10, 2021, 04:23:13 PM
Anyone on legal age even some minors now do gambling but It will be better if there's no one in the family involved in gambling since if there is one atleast who do that it will influence everyone in the family and we all know the effect of gambling if not properly trained or have no gut to understand the situation.
Even if anyone in your family is having gambling addiction or ever gambles they are not going to tell publicly that they are having any issues and mostly we do not spend too much money online but rather in real physical casinos where you have a drink or two and the colorful women that surrounds you will get you addicted in no time if you are not having the control.
775  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will dogecoin drop to $0.2 again? on: May 10, 2021, 03:46:47 PM
The bull run is still here, so the hype is still here.

However, I think DOGE has achieved a lot this year makes it overvalued, so even if it will still rise and reach $1, I still think it will drop 0.2 USD or even lower. DOGE and other altcoins with no real fundamentals will not grow in bear season, and we should expect that.
We could say that the price of Doge over achieved in the last few months and anyone holding the coins made a huge profit. If not for the negative comments which turned the market to negative we could have seen the price closing in to the dollar mark. When the bear market will play their part then the entire market will go down irrespective of the fundamentals.
776  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla and market manipulation crime on: May 10, 2021, 03:32:42 PM
You are not getting the point mate, I'm not talking about the fact that tesla allows bitcoin payments for their cars, I'm talking about the fact that they bought $1.5B of btc and when the coin hit the moon they sold 10% of that stack.
It is called trading, then what do you think these investors should do, when they think they had enough profit they will book the profit and there is nothing illegal about it.

If this is the case, then why John McAfee gets charged with fraud over cryptocurrency? even if cryptos are not considered money, people can make fraud with it, and people can make market manipulation with it.
John McAfee is a proven scammer, he took money from scammers and promised everyone that they are the best projects and faked the genuinity of the project and many investors lost millions and that is the reason he is charged with fraud.
777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Full of get-rich-quick opportunities at Bitcointalk on: May 10, 2021, 02:13:23 PM
For every legit opportunity on the platform, there are 10 more that will guarantee you to lose money. I already see now crypto trading bots promising 10% a month profit. That is an outright lie;)
There are several projects that are in the market and it is difficult to know about all the projects but i had my bad experience during the last rally as many hyped up projects failed to deliver and i lost a lot of money which i was accumulating for a long time and hence i stopped looking at any of the hyped projects until i have the time to look and learn about the project because you cannot trust the hype all the time.
778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB price on: May 09, 2021, 11:58:09 PM
I think BNB will still continue to go up, even though now the price of BNB is very high, and touched $ 650, but I am sure BNB will still continue to go up to $ 1000, because the potential that BNB has is still very large, ETH gas fee still can't beat BSC gas fee
The price of BNB has everything to do with the gas fees to ETH but with the upgrade plans on full swing and we are set to see in a short period of time we need to see whether new project developers will be moving on to the BSC chain. The more users are attracted towards BSC the more the price would be and only time will show us the real situation.
779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Eth price pridictoin on: May 09, 2021, 09:55:34 PM
To touch a price of $ 5K for Ethereum doesn't seem like a difficult thing for Ethereum to achieve because now Ethereum's price is almost close to $ 4K in the market for one unit, so if the price continues to slowly increase, then the possibility of touching $ 5K will be very likely big although not going to happen in this month.
Hope you are aware that the price of Ethereum rallied from $2000 to around $4000 in a short period of time and if the momentum continues and the market keeps on moving in the green zone then it is a matter of time that the valuation crosses $5000. The London Fork is expected to be implemented soon and so is the reason the price is rallying and i think it will continue for a while with minor corrections on its way to $5000.
780  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: May 09, 2021, 09:04:23 PM
I really don't understand why UFC is still keeping Donald Cerrone under contract after so many defeats, this is his fifth in a row from total of 16 loses.
Other fighters get released much easier but Cerrone refuses to retire and I think it's time for him to rest on his ranch and take car of his family.
The only logical reason why Donald Cerrone is getting consideration from the UFC is because he is a crow puller and can fill the seats whenever he is fighting and he helped the UFC fill in for fights in short notice when he was in his prime and Dana White likes people like that who saved fight cards for the company and may be he is repaying that favor by not removing him.

This fight card is finally over and we can move on to real thing with UFC 262 and fighters like Oliveira and Ferguson.
Charles Oliveira and Michael Chandler battling for the title and the fight against Beneil Dariush will determine the future of Tony Ferguson, a loss here would be the end of his career.
