641  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: bull market end on: June 14, 2021, 08:51:56 PM
The million dollar question we all want to know, where is the top.  With this historic run up I'd say we are In line for a retrace here soon.  Who knows though this can bust right out upwards again soon.  My money is on some sideways trading for awhile.  Then people will get "bored" and then we will see a drop.
If you could get a conclusive answer regarding this then anyone could make a million dollars and more. We already touched a valuations that i did not expect a few years back and i was stunned to see the market reaching that valuation sooner than i expected and we are now in a minor correction phase and we will see the rally gaining momentum in the coming months and hopefully we will breach the current all time high.
642  Economy / Speculation / Re: ✅ We are currently in a year where the trend for Bitcoin on: June 14, 2021, 08:02:09 PM
If we all believe btc will hit 100k by year end and each and everyone of us buy as much as we could now that the price is still at 40k or below, we could see btc getting close to 100k even before year end, i wonder how many people is actually taking advantage of this opportunity and buy some btc at this current market price! i also have a strong feeling that wed haven't seen the end of bull run just yet, hopefully that 100k target will be achieved this year.
I would like to take this opportunity to purchase Bitcoin if it really reaches $100k but the risks are higher and the past one and a half years were not great for me financially except for the investment i was holding for a long time, if not for that i would be selling my condo because i lost my job when the pandemic started and i cannot risk my savings now. I am sure most will be going through that phase and if the market rallies i will be booking my coins which i am holding for the past several years and enter after the correction and that is my plan.
643  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should i believe a person who said"my trust wallet get hacked" ? on: June 14, 2021, 07:08:49 PM
Since i joined the crypto world i didnt face any problem regrading wallets but i see that many people lose funds...somtimes the situation is normal like when somone share his private key or back up phrase in a scam website...but lets imagine that somone open a nwe wallet on trust and start using it without even keeping the phrase...is there a way to enter his wallet and make transactions without even having the back up phrase?
Are you trying to tell that the scams are due to phishing sites and is it possible for someone to start a new wallet on trustwallet? and then why would you avoid taking the pass phrase back up. Basically you want to know whether anyone can enter your wallet like a magician without even having your pass phrase, it is almost impossible to get in without any information.
644  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: British Man Duped out of $282,000 in Brutal Crypto Scam on: June 14, 2021, 06:21:45 PM
In the six-month period between October 2020 and March 2021, US users reported more than $ 82 million in online cryptocurrency fraud, according to the US Federal Trade Commission.
Perhaps it is time to repeat the obvious: People who want to enter the crypto space need to know that they face a myriad of dangers and inconveniences. Because of your love to cryptocurrency, do not respond to unexpected messages from unknown senders and unreasonable promises of astronomical profits or rewards.
The scams are increasing and now a days the scammers are calling your number and providing services and ask to access your laptop or computer and then their dubious plans starts according to the victim and how they are able to control them and carry on their scam. The coupon fraud was the biggest in the past few years and now they are somehow manipulating people to use cryptocurrency and the only way to avoid them is to never trust a call from strangers even though how convincing they talk.
645  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: June 14, 2021, 04:32:12 PM
Probably the authorities of PSL and IPL are more interested to complete the remaining of the tournament and they can sacrifice the income which may come from the spectators. The deal is good because people can watch and enjoy the remaining tournament on the TV and it does not make much of the difference. We are now used to it . Aren't we ?
There were no spectators even when the tournament was undergoing and their respective boards were not having any plans to allow audience and that is what they are doing now and the need to continue the tournament because the loss they will be encountering because of media rights will be huge and so is the reason they are forced to continue elsewhere and that is what i understand.
646  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why some millionaires hate Bitcoin? on: June 13, 2021, 08:51:55 PM
In my own personal opinion, I think this just are almost applied to those people that hides something i.e. their money are just came from their corruption. I think if the money that they have are in crypto, like bitcoin, it will really be hard for them to commit such correction since transactions on blockchain is public.
Another wild theory, people who made money and are billionaires are well aware how an economy functions and how their companies are valued and if they see a computer code getting valued they will not accept that and that is the issue with many and these people who are opposing Bitcoin are of the older generation, i cannot find a young billionaire who made money in the technology side of things complain about Bitcoin.

The Dhaka Premier League is not being held under the control of BCB. It is an independent league, and therefore the BCB has no direct control over it. So gamblers are getting easy opportunities of match fixing and lots of fixing is happening.
I have a doubt, i understand that these clubs are not under the control of BCB but we were discussing about Shakib Al Hasan getting some penalty and suspension because of his behavior and these players are contracted with BCB and if Shakib Al Hasan is playing many players who are contracted with BCB will be playing as well, so will they allow these players to breach their contract or whether they have special permission to play these games.
648  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lomachenko vs Nakatani June 26 on: June 13, 2021, 06:35:22 PM
And maybe after Loma win, we can compare how him and Lopez approach the Nakatani fight. Teo Lopez was extended to 12 rounds if I'm not mistaken and he was touch by Nakatani several times in their fight. And if Loma come here to win by knockout or win by decision unscathed, then we can argue that Loma is still a great fighter and should be respected by Lopez and should be given a rematch. So we will see, it's less than a week now. And for sure we will see a lot of this fight in boxing media.
Every fight is different and there is no point in comparing a fight against different opponents and fight math do not work in a fight and we can only speculate how it could go as styles always makes fight.

I am expecting Lomachenko to win the fight and i am expecting him to finish Nakatani in the final rounds rather than going for the distance.

Tsitsipas started the second set very well with a break and his own serve confirmed the good form in the second set, Djokovic could have difficulties today and can lose the match.
After watching the first two set i thought Novak Djokovic will be loosing the match in three straight sets but he is coming back from behind and he is posed to win the 4th set as well and it is already an interesting match and i am wondering what the odds were when Novak Djokovic lost two straight sets and even though i will not dare to place a bet during that period i wanted to know if anyone was monitoring the live odds.
650  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: June 12, 2021, 11:31:34 PM
Looks like NZ will win the test series(1 - 0) at this rate. They demolished England in the 2nd innings thanks to Henry, Wagner and Patel primarily. Root continues to struggle currently.

Am excited for the India vs NZ WTC final thanks to NZ's performance against England. Am betting on India to win.
There is nothing England can do in this match as they are leading by 37 runs and they have one wicket left and plenty of time for the match to get over and the England crowds were huge in numbers and they will be disappointed that the match will be getting over earlier than they expected.

New Zealand is in good form and if they can trouble England in their own ground then they could trouble India as well and the WTC final is going to be a great one and let the best team win.
651  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: June 12, 2021, 10:57:21 PM
Isn't anyone here interested in PSL? Why doesn't anyone discuss about PSL related issues? It is also a big betting platform.
The match between Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiator is being held at the moment. And Peshawre has collected only 67 runs in 10 overs, by losing only 2 wickets. I bet on the victory of Quetta Gladiators in this match.
If you could provide me any link or paid subscription where i am able to watch the match i will be more than happy to watch the match, last time someone provided me the link and i was watching when ever i get time and i book marked the site but when the PSL was cancelled i removed that bookmark and i forgot everything about the teams as well.
652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: June 12, 2021, 09:49:42 PM
Is it just me or the hype around Adesanya is not the same after his last fight ? For me personally, he will remain one of my favorites fighters and I'm expecting a win tonight with a K.O. in 1st or 2nd round. If somehow, Adesanya loses this game, then his career will take the other turn around and he might have some difficulties to comeback at the same form that made him what he is today but I doubt he will lose as even Dana hyped him a lot along his UFC career.
Like every other fighter who has an undefeated record Israel Adesanya he was having the hype when he was undefeated and it is natural that he will not be having the same hype coming after a loss because his weakness was exposed even though that happened in a higher weight division fighters in his division will study his flaws and the positions he struggled.

I would like to see Marvin Vettori getting the victory as it would be huge for the country as a MMA hot spot .
653  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we get another golden oppurtunity to buy? on: June 12, 2021, 08:09:47 PM
We have one of the best opportunities right now actually. We've seen a huge dump in the price and it is still at a level between 30-40k dollars. We may not find this golden opportunity for a long time if the bull market continues from where it left.
That is a valid point, anyone who invested in the cryptocurrency market in the past one year could have easily made a huge profit as all the coins in the market rallied for months and if you want to invest again during a volatile market which is looking for direction you will get the opportunity as the market is moving in a range bound and if you think that the market will rally again then you can take that calculated risk.
654  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: June 11, 2021, 07:35:47 PM
In the first Test against South Africa, the West Indies lost all their wickets by just 97 runs. I was surprised to see the West Indies batting. I did not expect such a bad game. South Africa scored 216 runs and lost 6 wickets. If South Africa can maintain their destructive bowling in the second innings, they can easily win.
I had no idea that there was a tournament going on between South Africa and West Indies and i did not hear much discussion here either, West Indies are not having the best team for Test matches but to get all out for just 97 runs is pathetic and this is the second day of the match and there is no way West Indies is going to recover in this match.

Regarding Mumbai, I always thought that their strength was in the batting. Rohit Sharma, Quinton de Kock and Suryakumar Yadav in the top order, with Kieron Pollard and Hardik Pandya in the middle gives them a lot of strength. Regarding the opening bowlers, I agree that Trent Boult and Jasprit Bumrah are some of the best in the world. But I have a feeling that these two bowlers are more suitable to the test format than the T20 format. For the T20 format, I would say that slightly slower bowlers such as Chris Jordan and Deepak Chahar are more effective.
I watched the matches this season and Mumbai were struggling with their batting, they usually score runs around 140 and then the bowlers will take them back in the game and that is how they won a few matches this season and if the score is lower then they find it difficult to contain the opposition. They have big names but this season until it was cancelled i do not remember their batsman playing outstanding innings.

Trent Boult and Jasprit Bumrah are suitable for all formats irrespective of pitch conditions.

If every UFC fighter puts a bar of "I will fight for 500k and no less", then organization would simply go bankrupt.
The UFC gave a long rope to Conor McGregor and he was able to control and dictate things and now Dana White and the UFC is not willing to give the fighters the power, if not Jon Jones which everyone considers to be the best fighter in history will be waiting out waiting for a pay hike to move up a division and if Paulo Costa thinks that he needs to be compensated coming out after a loss then he will sit out for a long time as well  Cheesy.
657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin/ETH replace fiat someday? on: June 10, 2021, 11:43:44 PM
With the current tx fee system of ETH, I don't think that it is ready to replace fiat and even with its full development, Bitcoin/ETH will never replace fiat due to the government rejecting them to be used as a country's currency.
If you are worried about ETH fees then they are migrating to POS and there are some major upgrades that could sort the fee issues, as an individual you can replace fiat if there are stores that accepts Bitcoin but if someone is waiting for the government to declare all these, then good luck with that as none of the countries will be open like El Salvador and make Bitcoin a legal tender.

658  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: As a Chinese, I want to talk about China's ban on cryptocurrency on: June 10, 2021, 11:07:47 PM
As everyone knows, the Chinese government has banned cryptocurrency exchanges, and now it has banned mining. The entire market has undergone many changes due to policy reasons. In fact, you should not pay too much attention to the policies of the Chinese government, because since the cryptocurrency exchanges moved out of China, the influence of the Chinese government on cryptocurrencies has become very limited.
There is nothing that China could do that could change the market valuation and i was thinking like that when they banned cryptocurrency exchanges a few years back and when they started banning Bitcoin mining the rest of the narrative for the correction was that it is because of China and people are giving too much importance to certain events if there is a market correction.

You may not know that the Chinese government has proposed no real estate speculation for ten years, but the housing prices in big cities are getting higher and higher, and even restricting purchases and sales is useless. In China’s cryptocurrency circle, everyone silently regards the government’s cryptocurrency policy as a joke.Of course, this is probably just the dealer using China’s bad policy to suppress the price of cryptocurrency in order to get more and cheaper chips.
Thanks for the insights, so is the coins sold in China at a cheaper price than the general market ?
659  Other / Off-topic / Re: UFC champion, Amanda Nunes challenges Kim Kardashian to a fight on: June 10, 2021, 12:00:04 AM
Looks like someone wants Kim Kardashian dead because Amanda Nunes can kill her with her bare hands, i have seen the social media posts and it was just for fun as there is no way anyone in their right mind wants to fight Amanda Nunes who is the baddest women in the planet when it comes to striking and none of the athletes can compete with her and even with one hand tied Amanda Nunes will knockout Kim Kardashian to another dimension  Cheesy.
660  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum May Surpass Bitcoin’s Market Cap in the Next 10 Years on: June 09, 2021, 11:20:54 PM
ETH 2.0 is NOT gonna shake the crypto world, it's just fixing a gas problem that's already solved by now because traffic in ETH chain is decreasing.
if ETH 2.0 rolls out it's just gonna be your another crypto day with ETH but lesser gas fee which is pretty much ordinary, not increasing scarcity and all in all very little have to do with its price.
These are facts as the gas price has dropped considerably even without ETH 2.0 because developers and users migrated to other chains which makes sense because they are sick of the high gas fees and they could maintain that even without migrating and with the total number of coins in existence there is a possibility that it could surpass but even if it does then it does not make much of a difference.
