You think we are already seeing a dead cat? I see some volume, are second phase redeemers selling off? This coin is a trap with no use, there has to be an explanation. I doubt we will see the dead cat until JULY when people finally realize this coin offers nothing and the developers lose steam, as I can tell they are already. The big announcements that came aside launch were anything but, and nothing on the radar about any product.

You think we are already there?

This coin is worthless yet it is worth your time to defame it? Either you're addicted to negativity or there is some other motive at play here.

You reak of fear.

dandruff, they gave you money, for doing nothing and you call them scam? Too bad blockchain cant be used as backbone.

I paid for my stake, I paid to invest in a new economy movement, all I got was a worthless coded client and monopoly money. As an investor we have rights to say we are unhappy with our investment. Do something and quit talking.

NEM was always clearly stated as a voluntary association (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Voluntary_association) and not as an investment.

NEM is what you secretly wish Bitcoin was: fast, stable, and secure. We've put together an amazing platform and you are more than welcome to build on top of the NEM block chain platform. Check out our API here: http://bob.nem.ninja/docs/

What can I do with NEM that I can do with BTC? N O T H IN G

Just curious, so hear me out. What would satisfy you so that you stop with the literally constant stream of negative comments in this thread? What would it take? Obviously you would not be spending the time to make so many posts if not for a reason, so what is the reason? What exactly are you wanting to achieve?

Just some young kid new to the game who feels he was somehow owed a massive increase in price the first few weeks of operation. Just bitter at himself projecting it on others to make himself feel better really.

Yeah, the price hasnt skyrocketed (yet) but who cares. With crypto you know price point is not an accurate reflection of value. See the bigger picture and calm your ass down. The client is absolutely amazing.

Im heavily invested in NEM and am not worried one bit.

My importance is quite high but I only generate blocks when I am logged into my wallet. I have delegated harvesting activated and running.

Have you set up a remote node under settings? If it is "localhost" under host entry that means that you've activated delegated harvesting but you are harvesting on your own node (on the same computer). I suggest trying out few nodes from here: https://forum.ournem.com/vps-nodes/list-of-dedicated-vps-nodes-to-conect-nem/

If you do this right, you can turn off your PC and you will be harvesting on that remote node.

Hope this helps!

Ok thanks. This was the missing link.

Do you still harvest when logged out of ones account?

If your node is booted.

Learn more about harvesting here:
http://blog.nem.io/how-local-and-delegated-harvesting-works/
http://blog.nem.io/how-to-use-delegated-harvesting/

By the way, we have lots of great tutorials on our home page:
http://blog.nem.io/nem-tutorial-list/

So i've done all that but when i shut down my computer with delegated harvesting running I dont generate any blocks.. or thats what seems to be the case..

What is your importance?

yes, if you setup delegated harvestng properly

If I have delegated harvesting operating does that imply it is running properly?  Huh

488  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Success rate for Game Changing Technology/Food for thought on: April 09, 2015, 05:29:16 AM
Many game changing technologies get suppressed by elites who stand the most to lose from their implementations.

Free energy on a global scale is already possible yet we are still reliant on oil.

Many cures to cancer have been found, yet we still rely on chemo therapy; that in itself is worse than cancer. Whoever conjured up that idea and convinced others to believe in it is beyond me.

HIV, AIDS, all diseases known to man are curable, yet we are still made to believe in big PHARMA.

Oh, and those famous pyramids in Egypt... You can damn well bet that technology has been suppressed also.

Now tell me.. What be the success rate of bitcoin?

Humanity has a long long history of oppression and suppression, just because a technology is revolutionary is by no means an indicator of its success.
489  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is just to complicated for the average person to use.. on: April 09, 2015, 03:48:16 AM
Everything's too complicated for the average idiot to understand. The main issue is how to make the average idiot dependent on using crypto.

I guess there is no account balance explorer as of yet? Is this possible? can it be done?

Hi megashira1, here you go => http://nembex.nem.ninja

enter any account address in the top right search field

Ok, cool thx.

How long does it take for ones balance to be fully vested? Upon launch I transferred all my XEM to a new account whereby the vesting period started. If I had left it in the original account would all my XEM had been vested from the start?

Why is my vested balance exactly 10% of that of my current balance?
496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM Official Thread -NEM has launched[Updates&Discussion] on: April 01, 2015, 03:36:00 AM

Why even offer local harvesting if delegated is so much superior?
497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM Official Thread -NEM has launched[Updates&Discussion] on: April 01, 2015, 02:57:12 AM
Link to explanation of local harvesting vs. delegated pls.
498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM Official Thread -NEM has launched[Updates&Discussion] on: April 01, 2015, 02:55:17 AM
so i was able to start the client, add my nemstake account, and all my NEM were there.

but after logging out and logging back in, i have ZERO BALANCE!!!

and when i try to add the nemstake account again, it says it is already added!

help!

EDIT:  OK, i figured out that i have 2 accounts in my wallet and i need to switch between them.  i thought it was like merging accounts, but i see that it is multiple accounts.  its a little confusing!

I had the same experience. This will be a common issue arising amongst users and should be stickied somewhere.

I've created a new wallet, then chose add existing data by using my private key.  But my wallet shows 0 XEM, my token etc was registered and my real address is viewable from
https://chain.nem.ninja/stakes/registered/   as satb.  But 0 xem is shown in the wallet, as is on the blockchain when I type my address.  Anyone got any ideas how to resolve this?

You have to switch over to your secondary account which you loaded via your private key click top right corner and there is a drop down to secondary account. Had the same confusion.
