I don't think its the config pool says its alive but no hashrate and the green light on the side of miner is not lit up. my wan set up 192.168.2.35 ipv4 255.255.255.0 netmask 192.168.2.1 default gateway 192.168.2.255 ipv4 broadcast 8.8.8.8 custom dns server miner config stratum+tcp://pool.webcoin.us:3388 AngusCanine.Jason 1234 Hey Angus, try taking out the stratum+tcp:// Just enter pool.webcoin.us:3388 then hit Apply and Save. works either way

Zero hash rate but pool says alive, lstime says never, have some getwork, some discarded , some local work? Faulty miner?? I get that every so often on my 90 ant - so my monitor pops up a message on my screen. Restarting it always solves it for me. (I just login via ssh and 'reboot') YMMV what program do you use for ssh is this putty? Im a little bit computer illiterate not completely though and learning fast

Are there any errors in the system log? Maybe the kernel log?
there was errors but I don't know what to make of them Also, what are you using for a PSU? 650w, antec earthwatts, 80plus bronze, dual 12 volt rails dual rails can be an issue - are you sure the load is split properly, not 400W off a single 300W rail? also, you dont need the 'stratum+tcp' i just use us1.ghash.io:3333 its connects either way

got mine to light up by switching pcie cables but it still wont mine hash rate is zero but pool info says alive? no antminer stats at all? What sort of power supply are you using? antec earthwatts 650, 80 plus bronze, dual 12v rails

You have to change the router to 192.168.1.x in order to access to the antminer. I have access to s1 those values are the s1's new address and my mining pool, funny enough ive switched pcie's and the green led on out side of miner on the board came back on. but still not hashing pools alive, zero hash rate NTP problem? maybe... define ntp im not familiar with it?

brand new S1 not working pool is alive but hash rate is zero any help would be appreciated feel like there isn't any support if your equipment doesn't work. cant help but feel like I just lost a bitcoin.....
take a screenshot then check your network settings. clear the 'ipv4broadcast' value and change the dns to 8.8.8.8 tried those things didn't work either, although I was able to get miner to connect to pool saying it was alive but still the zero hashrate

stupid question but how do I back up the wallet data from the old wallet ?
NOT STUPID at all!!! Very important to know how to back up your wallet, you could lose all your coin if you don't!!! Two ways. 1. With your wallet open, go to the menu File => Backup Wallet. Choose a location to save it and give it a name, I usually use the type of coin "Darkcoin_wallet.dat" 2. With the wallet closed, go to your wallet folder, in Windows, it's in C:/Users/AppData/Roaming/Darkcoin/ Find the wallet.dat file and copy it then save to another location. In Ubuntu at least, it's in your home file, hidden (so choose show hidden) and is called .darkcoin. To restore a wallet, you can just load and sync a wallet, then replace the wallet.dat file with the one you saved so when I back up the old xcoin wallet I need to find it in c: the copy it and add it to the new darkcoin wallet folder(anywhere in folder?) im trying to get 222 coins sent from old wallett new wallet So you have two distinct versions of "wallet.dat" ? One with the "old" address and one with the new ? And you have transferred 222 DRK from the old to the new one ? yes exactly 1. Save the two somewhere with distinct names e.g. "wallet-old.dat" and "wallet-new.dat". 2. Put a copy of your new wallet ("wallet.dat") in the folder ./AppData/Roaming/Darkcoin/ 3. Download the newest client on http://darkcoin.io/4. Run it and let it update the blocks I cant find this appdata file? im using windows 8

Reconnected... I change my wireless to 192.168.1.254, subnet mask 255.255.255.0 , and the default gateway stays same it puts me offline but then I can access the miner I held the reset for 30s let go shut it off held reset again while powering on then off again and finally on again to reconnect probably unnecessary but it worked

If your pool is alive, then you're connected. What else does your screen show? I can compare it to mine, maybe we can figure out the problem.
I no longer can connect changed some lan setting .... hash rates were zero had less then ten get works and discards in the antminer section was nothing said something like not yet available was your fan running before it was mining
