I have zero hash rate says pools are alive I have a few getworks and some discarded but hash rate is zero and I cant see my self in the pool?
my ip is 192.168.2.xxx my default gateway is set to 192.168.2.1 the same as router when I ping my ip it comes back with data, my laptop routers ip is 192.169.2.xx my subnet mask is 255.255.255.0 am I leaving something out ?
so I noticed one of the boards had a green light on the outside after a reboot but now its gone again after another reboot(it was on the right ride side if your looking at the fan) bump anybody? feel like crying.... |

I don't understand what U mean. If mine stays on all the time and it's working, why would yours work and hash if the light does not stay on? It sounds to me like your Antminer has a problem, but I'm not really sure. All I can tell you is what mine is doing and it's mining and hashing fine.

AngusCanine: On my running Antminer S1, my green light stays on all the time on the right side if you're looking at the fan. I just went and looked, and it stays on all the time. Just thought I'd let you know.
my only came on once after a reboot but it still wasn't hashing??? |

I have reset the Antminer S1, to no avail. I still cannot get it in a web browser (I do get the black Lula sign-in screen) but it just hangs there. The reset S2 button however does not seem to be resetting the machine. When I plug in ethernet cable, the green lights blink 2-3 times and they shut off and never come back. I have another Antminer doing just fine, but I cannot get this second one online. It was online yesterday -- I had it pulled up and changed something in the WAN/LAN/WWAN area and when I restarted it, I now have this problem where it won't come up on a web browser. Help!
did you change your router ip back to same subnet as antminer 192.168.x.xxx first x needs to be the same the next set needs to not be 99 it'll bump you offline if your the same as me 192.168.2.xxx but you should be able to connect, im sure you already tried though, I got a question for you on your working s1's is there green led's on the outside lit up? |

zero hash rate??? saw a green led on right side of board after a reboot (right side if your looking at fan directly) but gone again after shutting down miner and turning it on again. miner status says pool alive some getwork some discarded, antminer stats nothing.... anybody ?

Your routers up is most of the time your gateway ip.
Thanks ill give it try so use the routers ip not the routers gateway ip? needs to be the routers gateway ip doesn't work with routers ip Confused  so which option is indeed working? routers gateway needs to be same as antminer otherwise it wont show the pool info although its still not hashing |

NOT STUPID at all!!! Very important to know how to back up your wallet, you could lose all your coin if you don't!!! Two ways. 1. With your wallet open, go to the menu File => Backup Wallet. Choose a location to save it and give it a name, I usually use the type of coin "Darkcoin_wallet.dat" 2. With the wallet closed, go to your wallet folder, in Windows, it's in C:/Users/AppData/Roaming/Darkcoin/ Find the wallet.dat file and copy it then save to another location. In Ubuntu at least, it's in your home file, hidden (so choose show hidden) and is called .darkcoin. To restore a wallet, you can just load and sync a wallet, then replace the wallet.dat file with the one you saved so when I back up the old xcoin wallet I need to find it in c: the copy it and add it to the new darkcoin wallet folder(anywhere in folder?) im trying to get 222 coins sent from old wallett new wallet So you have two distinct versions of "wallet.dat" ? One with the "old" address and one with the new ? And you have transferred 222 DRK from the old to the new one ? yes exactly |

Old darkcoin (xcoin) wallet won't sync? Sent my coins from it to new wallet but new wallet has not received them
1. Make sure/ certain, you have your old wallet.dat file backed up!!!! 2. close your NEW wallet 3. Drop your wallet.dat from your old wallet into the new wallet's darkcoin file (in AppData/roaming/darkcoin for windows vista and 7 (and?) 4. start the wallet application and you should see your money in there unless it somehow got sent, which I don't believe could have happened.

Wow, another one for the ignore list. I've been on a lot of forums, but have ignored one person before I came here. I think this is the 4th or 5th person I've ignored! What do you mean? Don't know what you mean I consider myself a very tolerant person. Yet I've had to put so many people on ignore because they're so annoying and stupid, attention seeking FUD spreading waste of space. If I don't, I'll go down the angry well, and I don't like drowning in that well. I'd rather drown in the well of love and happiness  stupid question but how do I back up the wallet data from the old wallet ? |
