In windows yes.

not working just closes immediately

ok I tried with your setup says no devices found when miner starts? doesn't recognize the miners

Did you install the VCP drivers? BFGMiner needs them to run the Antminers and Block Erupters.
http://www.silabs.com/products/mcu/Pages/USBtoUARTBridgeVCPDrivers.aspx

And since you mentioned CGminer before, if you have Zadig installed drivers, you have to uninstall those first.

ahh k so what do I use?

Whatever it normally looks like plus: --anu-freq 250

works perfectly

so this is a bat file?

On windows I use the .cmd type files to run in dosbox with string as above.

Bat was old DOS extension, .COM ect  windows does better with .cmd

so save this file as .CMD or .cmd

ok that worked but it says no devices found press m and + to add, so when I do this what is the enter target value

edit:in regards to the bat file

1408  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: AntMiner USB Overclocking? on: March 02, 2014, 01:44:06 AM
None of those commands mean anything in cgminer
For cgminer (assuming you're running the official one and not a fork), add: --anu-freq 250

Should give you 2GH

where would this go in the bat file  (cgminer.exe  -o stratum+tcp://pool.webcoin.us:3388 -u AngusCanine.AngusCanine -p 123)

I cant get bfg to find antminer u1 says "no devices found" any help with this one. also when running cgminer 4.0.1 what should the bat file say when overclocking ?

1st)  Make sure your running bfgminer 3.10.0 - prior releases don't have antminer support.
2nd)9Should do it for you, overclocking them up to about 2 GH, where most are reasonably stable without mods (make sure you have enough power)
3rd)  This is a bfgminer thread, don't expect much cgminer support <smile>
my bad sorry guys when im running 3.10.0 what is the enter target: (value?) and if I use this ( ./bfgminer -S antminer:all --set-device antminer:clock=x0981  ) where do I put the info?
