Now the tricky part: will we get every single donator to agree on "a good cause"?
Else, similarly impossible: get a working reimburse-address for every single donator?
As a technicality, we can check which donors are gone for good, and use their coins for the successful btc100-donations first. And then check with everyone left and online how to proceed.
If there's a good single cause, I'll gladly consider donating my coins / my reimbursement to that. Or to a comparable or follow-up project.
To make things more complicated: not every donation to BTC100 is listed in the OP. I did several donations, only the first is listed, for example.
At the very least, we'll need the complete donors list from Rassah, and later on how many coins are left and someone to send them their way. Rassah and/or Roger has access, afaik.
As soon as the complete bookkeeping is available, I'll gladly help work the details out.

Da wir einige Gutscheine bar kaufen, ein Kassenbon ? oder eine Rechnung über 10 Gutscheine von Amazon.de ? Wir bzw. ich besitze auch ein Ladenlokal wo ich täglich anzutreffen bin, wäre dieses ein "Beweis" für vertrauen ? Über Ideen oder Rückmeldungen würde ich mich wieder sehr freuen ! Das Beste, um sich Vertrauen zu erarbeiten, ist Zeit. Dauert aber auch am Längsten ;-) Ein persönliches Treffen hilft enorm. Ich schau mal rum, wenn ich im Lande bin. Newbie-Account.. It's a hard lesson. Sorry for your loss, OP. Normally, there should be no reason for the Bitmixer guys being assholes, but if they decide to, there's little to nothing you can do.  I'm sorry if this comes out as rude, but in Bitmixer's shoes, I'd do the same thing they did, and wouldn't feel guilty, or like I'm scamming you. I'm sorry if this comes out as rude, but if I knew who you are, I would want nothing to do with you. You are the kind of person that delights in taking advantage of another's misfortune. If someone accidentally overpaid you, you would keep it. If a guest accidentally left something valuable at your house, you would keep it. If a friend (assuming you have one) accidentally disclosed a private key, you would spend all of their bitcoins. But you don't care because you are a guilt-free non-scamming scumbag asshole. All of what you said is correct about me. Except the part about friends. Bitmixer.io were never his friends, pure business-to-client relationship. My conscience is very selective, and honest. You can trust me with any valuable goods of yours, and I would never steal or scam you, no matter what the situation, or the amount of funds. If me and you build a relationship of trust and good friendship, a mistake of yours just can't be handled that way, so my kindness kicks in. But "accidents" are unforgiveable in life. I learned the hard way, you probably yet have to face a situation like OP's, so your opinion will be like that, and it's expected to be that naive. There's a huge difference between being nice, and being fair, you need to know when you have to draw that line. You can't be nice to everyone, because not everyone will be nice to you. Your trust rating does not seem to reflect that! However, most of it seems made up (no reference links at all!) And, this relates to the topic at hand. I'm starting to recommend Trezor+Electrum to people now. Although it's worse than Armory in most aspects, I can't recommend Armory to anyone any more except the die-hard early-adopter, which of course doesn't need recommendations any more.
This feels much worse than a sudden end of a great FOSS project: it's a slow fade into insignificance.
Which, maybe, is exactly what ATI was planning to do.

Schöne Theorie, an sich normalerweise plausibel. In dem Fall: Ich befürchte, Bitcoin ist noch zu unbedeutend, als dass sich soetwas abspielen würde. Wenn überhaupt, wären solche Firmen an Informationen zu Bitcoin, Umsatz und Demografie interessiert. Und gerade hier ist es ja spannend, dass jeder Bitcoin-Käufer namendlich bekannt ist (Lieferadresse), also schön korreliert werden kann, wer denn diese Nerd-Gruppe eigentlich ist. Ente |

It's true that most [Armory] users won't check the source themselves.
I, for one, don't, and it would be close to the same if a) the software is open source or b) I know smart and trustworthy people have the source and check it, and provide the hash of a deterministic build which matches my closed-source binary.
The interesting point now is, who is a "smart and trustworthy" person? And how many independent ones would I need to be satisfied?
And, on the other hand, how many of them are looking at the open-source code right now? More? Fewer?
One thing is for sure, for me: a periodic clearnet connection from my wallet to a centralized server is a no-go. No matter what for, no matter where to.

A hardware-bundle might be an option. Like, a full-fledged Armory hardwarewallet. Armory only works with the hardware, you pay once for the set, and the software (or better yet both) are open source.
Everything else can be patched/forked out, if the code is open source.
