281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why I Don't Do Bounty Campaigns & Why You Shouldn't Either on: March 07, 2019, 08:20:20 PM
There are lots of bounty campaign happening in bitcoin forum. And we get thousands of participants. But I am agree with you, bounty campaign can't give you good return for your effort. Bounty hunters do lots of work with different campaigns but they don't get their deserve earning from it.
It's not true. Bounty campaign really pays good but just you need to find a better bounty campaign. There are a number of bounty projects on this forum and identifying real projects from them is always a challenging task. Bounty campaigns pay in their tokens and if a project is worthy than the value for those tokens can multiple in x numbers.

Also we get an opportunity to get some tokens for free which can be of huge benefits afterwards. Some bounty campaigns pays more than the efforts so we can't really blame the bounties for paying less but instead we should blame the bounties which doesn't pay their bounty hunters.
282  Economy / Economics / Re: Useful investor rule!!! on: March 07, 2019, 07:00:40 PM
Hey OP, you have a very nice post up there and I must say thank you for sharing.
The only way not to make great losses is to daily be on a look out for guidelines/rules applicable to trading. I do this search daily and I am always opened to learning and in this process I  have learnt that no investment is easy and all investments are risky, just that some investment are more risky, so the best rule is to only invest what I am willing to lose.

I don’t borrow or commit much money on an investment no matter how promising it may look
283  Economy / Exchanges / Re: The future of cryptocurrency exchanges on: March 07, 2019, 06:15:31 PM
We did have too many ICOs with exchange as they project. Many were able to reach the hardcap. Many have come up with features and products which would bring in more crowd into their exchange. The offers they provided is really amazing. Even if you dont trade in the exchange, you will earn on just keeping their coins in the wallets. So the future depends on the exchange
But running an exchange also costs money. The employees, server, domain hosting, legal services (accounting). And many ICO exchanges made projections of income based on much higher trading volumes than the current one. Hopefully they will somehow survive these times of lower volumes and if they do, this will pay off during the next bull run when volume will be higher than ever before.
I noticed that during the bullish trend, most altcoins and tokens fall in price on the contrary, as traders try to buy bitcoin or ETH. There are a few exceptions, but the General trend is this.
As soon as the price for bitcoins and etherum is going down, peoples including the big whales start buying bitcoins/etherum and remove their money out from the altcoins. Which makes the altcoins go downer but major coins keeps on going upwards. In situation when bull markets arrive, peoples will again start dumping altcoins and fearing this remaining peoples get their money out from the altcoins.
284  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Crypto Marketet Is Dumping Drastically !! on: March 07, 2019, 05:01:09 PM
Reasons are many. Investors and big whales are more silent. At times exchanges and traders set the price for the day. This follows with other exchanges. At times when hard fork takes place, the main coin value goes down and the new coin value goes up. No demand as the price is so low. Hence, the value is being draped down.
Big whales are always waiting for a better dip where they could buy more and more coins and as soon as they see demand going downwards, they start speculating the markets to see if they could buy as many coins as possible in a good dip so mostly we can expect a price pump even after the price is in the downtrend.

Investors do always look for a better point to get into so we cant really say that the decreasing demand can extinct the coin.

But if investors wait too long for cheap prices they will be left behind on the next rocketship.  Being greedy goes two ways, if you try to buy cheaply you may get burned.
A lot of investors are waiting for the markets to reach the dip for now and they would than start buying back the coins but as you say, it could really be riskier to wait for too long as the markets can start pumping anytime so it is always better to but coins as soon as out expected price is reach without being much greedy.

We can surely be greedy in terms of holding our coins because it won’t be riskier for us instead of just waiting for coins to reach major dip.
285  Economy / Gambling / Re: Clarification about "ice hockey betting informations" ;) on: March 06, 2019, 06:59:30 PM
unfortunately the tip lost , when i have another tip i will share it on same thread and on new thread .
If you would like for people to look on the things you are talking here then take this as an example on how tips should be organized which
it do shows winning and losing bets so that the public would able to see or track it out.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5091185.0

Now the tagged post looks way better , more easier to understand rather than posting it in the comments for every tip. As a newbie its natural that members here on bitcointalk to have a hard time trusting you. It takes time and effort , just dont give up and you'll be good. Too bad your last tip is off. Gl further  Smiley
I think most people have gone past the stage of really picking an offence when trust issue comes in, this is just the world and generation we have found ourselves where people just want to milk others for personal and selfish interest by taking advantage of their lack of knowledge but if the author of this post believes in his intellectual property so much, he just needs to be persistence in convincing people to join him in his game quest.
286  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you following your gut instinct in trading? on: March 06, 2019, 06:26:03 PM
I tried that so many times, and I failed miserably. The first time I did, that is when I don't even know what I was doing but I am trading all the time. I don't know how to read charts, add indicators, what indicators mean and I go with the flow. If I see a high percentage, I buy in and then dump happens. I just didn't know what I was doing. Thankfully I found out that you could get to automate your trading. With Gunbot, I have managed to be consistent in my trades and didn't have to follow my gut always. When I did, I just did it for the sake of adding trading pairs and not when I'm buying and selling. I'm letting the numbers do the talking.
Of course, it will surely fail you because all gut instinct does is to create way for emotional trading and unnecessary panic selling, for someone who is not so good at trading or does not have so much time spend on the system for trading.

I think the bot you mentioned such as the gunbot is best but personally for me, I will rather put my analysis to test fundamentally and technically while trading, this is still the best though trading manually takes a whole lot of your time.
287  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: which is easier 1-2% a day or 20-30% per month on: March 06, 2019, 05:39:26 PM
Based on your write, if you are to day trade at 1 to 2% profit pays you more even when you take profit at 1 % though that is not what matters most in deciding, what matters is the coin you are trading with and how reliable the coin is, will the coin still be reliable for that long period of one month without anything shaking your investment, to me, aside the day trading profit that is more , I believe it has less risk, at least every day, you keep learning more about the project you investing in and thereby knowing their faith on a daily basis. There are lots of ICOs that has parked up within a month of coming into the business.
288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can you Please Guide me Which is the Right age to start Crypto Exchange Business on: March 06, 2019, 05:03:51 PM
Crypto transactions have no age restriction. That's good news for you. But age helps you because experience in this business helps you. You must be prepared for this "bussiness". Investments in cryptomonades are long-term investments. In conclusion, you do not have to invest more money than you can afford to lose. For the rest, only your trader's skills matter.
I don’t think crypto exchanges business requires traders skill alone, what he intends venturing into is the exchange company itself which is quite capital intensive starting form building their platform and also requires setting up of a location and staffing even though some of them appear to be strictly online but deep inside of some of these exchanges, they fully operate offline too.

The skill you advise him on is what will make the business run smoothly to avoid being cheated or duped by people he will eventually partner with in the course of establishing it since he also has full knowledge of how the whole system works.
289  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hodler, you motherfucker. on: March 06, 2019, 02:45:30 PM
For example, if you bought bitcoins cheap (like at 170 dollars as you say yourself), you can easily sell your stash for a profit. But it is not the case with those who bought at, say, 20k (or anywhere above 10k, for that matter). And they are actually forced to hold as selling their coins right now would mean booking massive losses. In this manner, these people are made into bagholders against their will (as they were looking for profits, not losses, naturally). So they are forced to hold by low prices
The is the main reason why investing in crypto currency should really be void of speculations without going for fact, most people invest using their instinct and not following strong analysis using FA and TA.

I remember when bitcoin rose to 10000 usd, a lot of people where rushing to buy based on speculation without fact that it will rise to 21k within the year till bitcoin crashed to 3k, those are the ones finding it difficult now to be patient having to wait for it to rise back to 10k before even thinking of making profit. If they had technically followed analysis, they would have known that bitcoin will definitely fall back while they wait to buy at deep. So I will say that it is their ignorance that forced them to hold by low price.
290  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Reliability of Bitcoin mixing sites on: March 05, 2019, 04:46:17 PM
I need someone to throw more light on Bitcoin Fog. I heard its also safe
Bitcoin Fog also renders great mixing services that cover up tracts in the crypto world. It lists a straight forward process for mixing coins for its users. It runs on a dedicated server.

All transactions are been monitored and the website shutdown automatically if it senses any form of attack. I also think it can be trusted for anonymity. This not to say that I’ve used it but it’s just the little I’ve heard about it
291  Economy / Economics / Re: Japan Approves Self-Regulation for Cryptocurrency Industry on: March 05, 2019, 03:28:12 PM
You see why Japan will always be ahead of so many countries. I believe in a short time so many countries will be left with no choice than to follow suit. It’s great news to all cryptocurrency users because everyone is aware that Japan is a trend setter and a country that is developed and with high technology, developing countries look up to them in making decisions and this decision taken by them will have a long way to go in influencing other countries. They are really so supportive and I truly applaud them.
292  Economy / Economics / Re: ‘Crypto not meant for humans’ says Anthony Pompliano on: March 05, 2019, 12:13:44 PM
if not for humans then for whom ?? it's very clear bitcoin was created to make it easier for humans to do business buying and selling ... so bitcoin was created for humans ..
I do not agree with him either, making us believes that Bitcoin is meant for a machine is absolutely not right. It looks to me he just underrated the powers in humans as a being and their ability to operate any kind of machine and am happy with the given response. It’s not like Bitcoin is not designed for humans because of its difficulty, it’s just that people are not been taught to know much about money.

It’s an easy thing to do; schools should work on their technology and endeavor to lay emphasis on teaching money in schools. This will even allow everyone become familiar with the system and the fear of having challenges with operating Bitcoin will no longer be there.
293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is DASH still a good long term viable project? on: March 05, 2019, 09:25:33 AM
bitcoin or ethereum is a better alternate for dash in these days. this is because when bitcoin fall 1, the other altcoins fall 2. or when bitcoin rises 2, other coins rise 1. so bitcoin is better than dash

Actually i would describe it as when Bitcoin fall all other Altcoins fall too but fall a bit harder and when Bitcoin rise all other Altcoins rise too but rise in general a bit higher.
So there is a bit more risk & more reward to Altcoins.

Ethereum performs the same as any altcoin in that regard, its not like Ethereum is moving totally independently from Bitcoin. When Bitcoin falls, Ethereum falls a bit harder :

[im g]https://i.imgur.com/LV4Ms5M.jpg[/img]

So it seems that you just have a preference of Ethereum over Dash as altcoin, which is fine .. we all have our own preferences.
You are not far from the truth mate but I can assure you that the rise of some altcoins doesn’t mot necessarily depend on bitcoin totally, some altcoins rises when bitcoin is down and consolidating which I witnessed in 2017 around JULY and most altcoins I held rose almost 1500% and bitcoin was around 2000 usd then which we didn’t witness BULL RUN until Late December 2017.

Hence, what do we have to say about this scenario, how come most altcoins rose far before bitcoin HIT BULL RUN, what did they depend on then?
294  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much Bitcoin price Expected end of this year on: March 05, 2019, 08:49:11 AM
How much Bitcoin price Expected end of this year
The growth in bitcoin would be very slow this year but I think we will still get to a very good rate that can yield a lot of profit, we can expect that bitcoin would get to $10000 by the end of the year but this will happen slowly.

We might first see a growth within the range of $4000 - $5000 for about 4 months then we might see a break beyond the $5000 range in the third quarter which might struggle between $5500 - $6000, after all this we will see a major break in the fourth quarter that will drive the price of bitcoin to as high as $10000.
295  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency Volatility: Creeping Evil or Essence of Crypto on: March 04, 2019, 04:19:28 PM
i think volatility is what has brought bitcoin to limelight and at the same time its the same volatility that iis killing it sllownly
Very well said. You just hit the nail on the head. Many years back when Bitcoin first started it was a its because of how volatile its was and how it raised millionaires and billionaires in weeks that made so many big companies to start making it a point of discussion and then they started investing, same way as it might look that it’s going to bring it down but I would say that it’s not true.

Yes, incoming investors are scared because of the rumors they’ve heard and those who are familiar with the system are busy buying, soon there will be another raise of billionaires and millionaires and Bitcoin will again become the song in everyone’s mouth.
296  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Alternatives to Coinbase? on: March 04, 2019, 03:33:49 PM
I recommend Bitfinex, it is an exchange that accepts Fiat money and with cryptocurrencies, in addition, many people use it as their personal bank account, it is really very good and the rates are not that expensive. And to trade you can place your Stop Loss and Take Profit at the same time, as well as your orders in limit, and allow the Margin Trade.
I will advise you gradually shift your attention or trading from using bitfinex to other stable exchanges before you end up regretting later.

Though I am fully aware that running crypto business is not an easy business to run but should not be support for clients, it might not have happened to you but when it comes to losing money on bitfinex, it’s rampant without any form of support. Look at 9th of February, they suddenly shut down without giving any reason or tendered apology. So look for other stable exchanges you can use such as Binance.
297  Economy / Economics / Re: LESSONS FROM CRYPTO MARKET on: March 04, 2019, 07:48:28 AM
Cryptocurrency aside, greed and fear are two bad things and one should do their best to take these two devours out of their life, cause if you don’t, it’s going to destroy you. Greediness is a very bad thing, sometimes it might cause you any harm, but it will cause to other around you.

Take for example, those that likes to pump and dump cryptocurrency, that is an act of greediness and what they are doing is hurting others and destroying the cryptocurrency community.
298  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Is Now Officially In Its Longest Bear Market Ever on: March 04, 2019, 06:37:03 AM
Bitcoin has officially entered the longest stretch of declining prices in its 10-year history.
I don’t think you’re right, it is not up to two years that the price has been on low price. But whatever, I think that the next bull market is going to be a huge, and it’s not just going to be a bull run, but a monster. There have been a lot of experts talking about it and I’m looking forward to the end of this year or in 2020.

yeah  Sad it is so pity that new investors that bought last year lost very big money. they are very unlucky. but it is good for the ones that will join nowadays. the prices are mostly at deepest points.
Some of these people are those who bought out of FOMO. Some of them never really expected the pride of Bitcoin to go as high as it did the last time and when it did , they all started rushing in cause they don’t want to miss out on the profit they will make from it, but unfortunately for them, while they believed that the price will continue upwards , it failed them.
299  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Panic selling and postpone from trading, which one is the worse one? on: March 03, 2019, 03:44:35 PM
Right now, I have lots of coins I am presently holding which I will keep holding till the Bull run is back but notwithstanding.
I trade with some and set my stop loss, there is no trade without loss, you can’t avoid it and that is why stop loss tools is very necessary though do sell some of my coins no matter how low it has gone and it’s not because of panic selling but sometime sell them when I am broke and need cash.

That is why it’s necessary to trade money that will not give you tension, when you trade with such money, you will be able to Hold which is advisable to panic selling.
300  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Discussion: Bitcoin Market Manipulation - Pump & Dump on: March 02, 2019, 04:55:07 PM
-snip-
It does not give hope to anyone, it only end up making a lot of investors especially baby investors panic sell and go out of the investment,  by baby investors, I mean those who doesn’t have much knowledge on the coin but invested based on advised gotten from those who understands the currency investment.

In my country, the actions of the whales on bitcoin when it was pumped high and dumped discouraged a lot of people about the credibility of the coin and made them withdraw their coins. It takes a good trader to be able to control their emotion during pump and dump, if we so much believe in the project, why do we have to encourage pump and dump?
