161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $50 Million: Blockstack Files for 1st Ever SEC-Approved Crypto Token Sale on: April 12, 2019, 04:50:55 AM
Wow, this is a very new and good development, it is a very good thing that the SEC are very interested in the funds of their citizens, because we have seen and experience a lot of scam in the ICO  space and something needs to be done about it to solve this problem that have been the greatest issue we are facing in the crypto space, though the SEC coming into the project is a very big issue because they will find a way to control the crypto market which is something we don't want to happen since the market is a free market.
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China may ban bitcoin mining soon. on: April 12, 2019, 04:26:30 AM
Why would China allow something that they cannot control? Socialism can't thrive under freedom
Lol, the question should be how will they be able to ban something they cannot control, because if they can control it, this means they can definitely banned it, one don't need to be in china in order to own a miner, for the fact you are Chinese doesn't mean you can't own a mining farm in another part of the world.

Besides no one cares where a mining farm is located as long as they keep running and supporting the bitcoin node and other nodes in existence, so I don't see their threat as something that holds any value.
163  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: No trades without loss on: April 11, 2019, 09:18:58 PM
Crypto currency trading is quite hard; we mostly lose some and we get to win some.

And the tendencies of making the right decision is what ensures whether our portfolio is in profit or losses
In order to ensure consistency; we have to avoid fud and be focused

NB: this is my personal experience from trading and I do hope you get to give more insights and correct my wrongs
Thanks in anticipation
I don't think it is possible to follow master the act of trading because the market is not the same and can change at any time, especially the crypto market, it is very volatile and the price can change in seconds, this is why the crypto market is the most difficult market to trade on and become a professional, because once you master a particular method, it changes immediately and one have to start mastering the new method of the market.
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why there is so much fuss about decentralized exchanges on: April 11, 2019, 08:53:29 PM
Recently I came across an article about the future of decentralized exchanges and how they are going to transform the centralized exchanges. One thing that clearly mentioned is that decentralized exchanges are secure and impossible (kind of) to hack as no central entity is running/controlling them. However, I heard about the security breach of Bancor and waves DEX. So what's the point of decentralized exchanges if they are still being hacked Huh
Decentralized exchange might be the future if something is being created to solve the current problem we are facing, because they are so many flaws in a decentralized exchange currently and I don't think anyone have been able to solve the problem fully.

Though if there can a set of company that will come up with a very good idea to solve the flaws that we are having in the decentralized exchange, then I can boldly say that decentralized exchange is the future of exchanges.
165  Economy / Economics / Re: The bulls are back, bitcoin on the way to $5k on: April 10, 2019, 10:01:51 PM
Actually we cant confirm yet if this increasing the price of bitcoin will definitely a sign for bull run. Maybe we can sure if this will continuously green and increasing the price always or can reach $7000.
We don’t really know what’s going to be the next move after this increase has occurred but some analysts are saying that there is going to be a downturn after this increase, based on what has happened before. But, I don’t really take their word for it, because many of the times the signals they provide turns out to be false.

So, I’m not going to take their word. I’d rather keep on watching and see what’s going to happen next, market has been a bit stable at this $5.3k. I don’t really know where the market is heading to, whether for a Bull run or just for a temporary increase in price. But, I do hope that this is a Bull run, ‘cause I don’t really want to see the price going back down again.
166  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin must come back to its original use - currency ! on: April 10, 2019, 08:50:23 PM
Bitcoin is indeed a currency, but i think we need more people and shops start using it and put the price on bitcoin, and more people will start using for payments, and in that way can be used like a currency.
I think the highest role holder for bitcoin can be used as a currency is the government. by regulating it, it will certainly have a major impact on the use of BTC in stores or companies in the country
I don’t really think so. Even if it starts to be regulated, people will still be using as an investment. Being regulated can only make it, maybe, better than what it is or maybe not (the main purpose of Bitcoin is to be anonymous and not being controlled and a lot of people are against it being regulated.). But, being regulated means that institutions will start to invest in it.

Based on my experience, people don’t want to use Bitcoin/cryptocurrencies as currency or their main method of transaction. I have asked some people before on whether they would like to make use of cryptocurrency for making transaction, and their reply was that they can’t, because there’s already banks and other safe methods like PayPal that are meant for such purposes. They just prefer that cryptocurrency is an investment.
167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: April 09, 2019, 05:53:06 PM
So lets see the league is almost over and west playoff tree is still not decided but if it ends like today than the follow will happen.

Warriors will face clippers, which warriors will win, than Denver will face spurs which I think is an incredibly challenging game for both sides, Denver is the better team as we can see from second place but at the same time they have no playoff experience so given 7 game series anything could happen.

Rockets will face thunder which I believe rockets will breeze through and blazers will play jazz which I think gonna be the biggest no idea series out there, nobody knows which one is better, if Nurkic was there I would assume blazers but without Nurkic its definitely up for grabs. So warriors vs blazers/jazz winner and rockets vs spurs/nuggets winner, if you look at it like that I think its safe to assume its gonna be another rockets vs warriors this year.
168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you bet? on: April 09, 2019, 04:23:32 PM
early game, I bet low, then if I get a few wins, I will increase my bet to the maximum. that's how I play.
I prefer to be part of the area in gambling that I have experience in and that I have been playing regularly. I love the sports thing in this regard because it is very easy to pick a team you find good enough and bet on. The gambling in sports is not a certain thing either but if you understand how things work, you would make it till the end. I have seen friends making and loosing money in sports gambling but the average money you win is more than that you lose.
169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Strategy to overcome losses .. on: April 09, 2019, 03:28:30 PM
I think the kind of loses I make on gambling does not require an overcoming strategy because I don’t lose what hurts me. The kind of lose I make, it’s always so easy for me to move on. Gambling game is fun and a player and should be played with ease. If small money is committed, you will not even find it so painful because you will know there have been times you won.

But, for those who commit a lot, I think the best strategy you can apply to overcome your loss is to quit the game for some time and let your heart heal of the loss.
170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does gambling sites needs to be a mobile friendly or not? on: April 09, 2019, 02:36:30 PM
Well, I gamble more on my PC and I enjoy it better so I don’t really care if a casino site is mobile friendly or not because I’ll still prefer to gamble on a PC and am not the type of person that gambles or spend on the Go, I plan for each of my activity, but ideally, I think a gambling site should be mobile friendly because it’s easier taking a mobile phone about and most gamblers would like to gamble at any point they desire.

So, it will be bad for a gamer to desire to gamble on transit only to find out that phone is a barrier, it can be discouraging. This is enough for such gamer to remove such gambling site from the site he would always visit, so it’s better a site is made mobile friendly even though it has more of PC users.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay Calm, IEOs aren't a threat on: April 09, 2019, 01:44:53 PM
yes im agree with you, IEO was the revolution of traditional ICO whos already full of scammers, IEO promising safe of investor fund because fund raising held on third party exchanger, so there is a guarantee of investor fund cant be stolen.
I think that IEOs are not threat at all in the crypto space. They have been able enough to overcome the shortcomings posed by ICOs. ICOs though good for fundraising in the initial stages of a token selling company had disadvantages and risk. Still, they had been banned by some countries around the world due to which crypto startups in those countries could not really get the funds they needed so IEO is a good option for them.

I see many companies that wanted to make ICO even decided to switch to IEO, because at the moment this is the best way to get money from investors
No surprises in this Cool. Devs will switch over to the hottest platform whereas they actually do not need to do so. Yes, just focusing on their actual concepts itself more than enough to attract decent amount of investors but they are all chasing into the new platform so that they will hit definite targets up to their hardcap.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will the governments ban all privacy cryptocurrencies ? on: April 09, 2019, 07:28:33 AM
I don't think that they care about the privacy cryptocurrencies, but if the government wants to ban cryptos in their country, well they can do that.
I think that if a government is not interested in even legalizing/regulating cryptocurrency, why would she ban the private crypto when it is already banned/illegal in the country ?

Moreover, no government around the world has actually banned a cryptocurrency but only if it is harmful for the economy. The cases of china and Ecuador are examples here. Only that government pays ample attention to such regulations where coins like Bitcoin are regulated.
173  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency exchange volume: More fake than real? on: April 09, 2019, 06:45:18 AM
It is a known fact most of the information we found on site like coinmarket are not accurate and even the prices too so it is always better to check the trading volume by entering into their trading chart.
In my opinion, all the crypto enthusiasts are here in the market for making money and regardless of what many people in the market and many websites in the virtual market may tell you to do, you should always have your own strategy.

This is very important and I think that every men who became millionaire in the crypto has had the same fake news going on around him but they have made it so I think it should not bother you. This is basically a trustless system as per Satoshi's view hence we do not need to believe into what exchanges are showing or stating. We just need to be careful by not making decisions by what exchanges are showing, as that is the basics of being secured in this decentralized environment.
174  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Gaining quick profits or keep holding? on: April 08, 2019, 05:39:21 PM
I guess, it is not bad to get some instant profit sometimes. Who knows what the future holds, we really can't tell if the bear market will take a long time so to make some profit with your investment while there is, take it and what is left is for HODL that will make you become a millionaire when the bull show up.
Same here in case of holding the coins till the maximum possible market value. But in addition to that, I would love to get benefits out of the little rise of the price that is a $1000 benefit is enough for you in a Bitcoin or portion of Bitcoin. The rest would stay in the wallet until I reach my set limit which could be $6000 in the current market because of my low initial price and there could be a change in the strategy as well.
175  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What will you do when the market goes down? This is my advice on: April 08, 2019, 04:05:28 PM
it's a good time to buy when we taking a dip when bitcoin pump to 5k, almost all alts having a red candle. What I do is buy some dip, because i think the profit flowing from bitcoin will go to new assets like an alt, my bet at that time was a btc-sv and celr. It has a nice recovery after taking the hit from bitcoin pump.
That is wise thinking, I must say, trust me and thank you for sharing it. I think that it is very possible because Bitcoin is volatile and has been rising in the market lately. However such thoughts should be taken into considerations when it is a bear market like we had couple of months ago because only then you have the maximum profit margin when your initial cost is low.

Still, many altcoins are showing big dips to accumulate them now. For example, ethereum is not kicking start along with bitcoins whereas BCH was flying with bitcoins, hence it is time for buying more ethereum rather than bitcoincash. But, personally I rarely touch altcoins as I do fully focus only bitcoins for long term.
176  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bull market is back? on: April 07, 2019, 03:59:14 PM
Too early to conclude. We might be experiencing correction and the hype is just an indication that things would get better in the future. It's a positive thing for crypto enthusiasts but relying too much on it would be a disadvantage. We should have a firm assurance that the bull run is coming.
Yes, the market signs very bullish but we cannot conclude until it will break major resistance levels and the price is stable around $5k levels for time being. Still, this must be the best time for speculation because the market value of Bitcoin is rising now and this is actually approaching to more bullish value. So, I think that this is the best time to invest because later on when the price will be the maximum, you would have low edge to invest.

Even bears may dominate from the current market state, I guess that will not last for longer period hence we can be sure about another nice rally which may take bitcoin prices up to $7k levels. It is more than 50% confirmed that we are into bullish markets right now.
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should ICO have Advisors compulsorily? on: April 07, 2019, 10:40:55 AM
I have seen many ICOs' having advisors for namesake and only a few have for real. Can we believe a project based on the Advisors?

Or is it necessary for ICOs' to have Advisors before Token sale? Seen some using Bounty campaign to get Advisors.
It depends on the kind of adviser this ICO have, because I have seen a lot of ICO companies that list advisers that are not known in the world, this is not cool because an adviser should be someone that is very familiar with the crypto space and have gotten a lot of experience over time, at least if we are to see people that are well known in the crypto space as advisers, then we would be able to build trust within investors interested in the project.
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A true crypto enthusiast must be courageous on: April 07, 2019, 10:04:47 AM
Cryptocurrency has rebranded the courage in me. This business I can say is meant for the matured minds. It always gives me joy that I am part of the blockchain ecosystem.
Cryptocurrency had been impressive so far and this market is great and has great potential as it expands. I think that regardless of what the market value is, you should be part of it and yes you should encourage it because this technology will be adopted by the business and enterprises around the world as we have seen many doing that. So, yes it needs to be encouraged like it is being done how usually a father is raising his son.

It is not a simple thing to be engaged with these highly fluctuating cryptos. I do see lots of stock traders and brokers commit suicide when their markets swing ups and downs. We are not hearing any such bad news hence we may assume al the crypto adopters are already brave enough.
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Impacts of IEOs on the crypto-ecosystem on: April 07, 2019, 08:42:35 AM
I think that IEO is an interesting option but does not changes that fact that many new projects simply don't have innovative and concrete ideas, that's the main problem that most project have and I really hope that some good project will come out so that investors can really come back to this market.
Well, yeah that is true. If you do not have potential in a project, IEO will not be conducted. It is always the vetted assessment of the exchange that your project will have to pass through and only then you can avail the benefits of IEO. It ensures safety when it comes to investors putting in funds. I think that IEO will benefit the crypto enthusiast more.

I believe into exchange operators to take care of checking the potentials of projects. If they will be failing in this, then IEO will face the same fate of what ICO had faced in the times of 2018. I guess, everything will go smooth and perfect now as we are in the early days of IEO.
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: $10.2MILLION AIRDROP UP FOR GRABS!!!! : STREAMEX ICO on: April 07, 2019, 07:47:29 AM
Lol, I am already giving up on ICO and all this airdrop of a thing because they promise to give out a particular worth of their coin, but when the coin hits the exchange, you begin to regret why on earth you even participated in the airdrop filling you wallet with a lot of shitcoin.

I have over 80 tokens airdropped to my crypto wallet and the truth is that the entire coin I have in the wallet is not worth $10 until yet, so I don't see any reason keeping a bunch of tokens in my wallet when they are worth nothing, it is best I deploy my own token to the blockchain.
