Also, looking at all the work that's been done surrounding this coin I highly doubt that it is a scam, but I'm a paranoid cautious person. This is a good thing in this little cryptoworld. Yes the code has been inspected. Check the testimonials on the mintcoin.cc website. You'll see a consultant has been brought in by myself. I had to do that because I feel it's very important that we can steer clear of any nasty mishaps. I'm happy to say that the initial two inspections on the coding have come back positive (everything looks to be in order)! However, we are not just leaving it at that. Precautions are being taken and we are putting the MINT protocol through it's paces in an accelerated testnet to ensure the transition is as smooth as possible and finding any bugs in advance, to stay one step ahead. In other news: A complete customized wallet is on the way, it'll look very fresh and minty! Why are we making a sexy wallet? The coin has been out since Feb 6th. FUCK the pre mine. Now GTFO troll so the adults can converse. Just ignore the trolls, they think they've missed the train and they are too dumb to buy in at current prices, so they think oh spread FUD and the price might come down. This coin is more valuable than Doge (It doesn't have a huge community backing currently) but numbers don't lie 100b total > 70b. The 700m could be dumped right now and we would be back over 50 within a few days. This coin is only going to go up in the long run. Yeah I agree with you, 700 mil could be dumped and have little effect. If people read my post they will realize this has happened many times. The coin is being distributed nicely. The reason I made my post before was because I want the dev, to stop by and answer a few questions about the PoS. That's all. |

Ugh, I was going to be then I read all these "FUCK SELL!" posts. Listen, the price is a bit high, but fact is when some of the whales start dumping, the fish will still be holding. Strength in numbers people. The fish that sell will be the ones getting picked off from the sides of the school.
This coin isn't like other coins, holding it is the same as mining it(50 billion will be produced from minting)..so just tuck it away, don't spend more than you can afford.
Now, before I go to bed..a note to the developer: If you make a liar out of me, and this does not become a PoS(proof of stake) coin... I will hunt you down son. HUNT YOU DOWN!

I've tried to daytrade this coin twice...lost twice. Daytrading this coin is now for fatcats. I'm just gonna drop in a year from now and see what I got. how much do you have stashed? i have half a million as saving and 150.000 as playmoney. Not bad for GTX 760 mining. Very interested in the distribution of this coin! How many fat cats are there? I have some... When I was observing, I saw 2 fattys. One bought in higher than the other, which produced the war we saw the first time it hit 50 or so I think there are a lot of players in this coin. It's unfortunate that none of the exchanges list buy\sell volume. Current 24 hr volume sits at 1700btc which equals about $975,500. That's not just 2 people playing with the coin. |

How much is block reward now? (for calculations)
Keeping in mind i sucks at math, from the front page: MintCoin will have a total of 70 billion coins. Initially each block will deliver 100000 to 900000 coins randomly. The PoW payout will be halved each week (7 days). After 5 weeks, the PoW payout will be fixed at 1 coin per block. Launched on 6th: feb 13th: 50,000-450,000 feb 20th: 25,000-225,000 feb 27th: 12,500-112,500 mar 6th: 6250-56250 mar 13th: 3125-28125 mar 14th: 1 mar 15th: 1..and so on Thanks for the popcorn This little chart was my contribution to the community, so i wanted to re-post if anyone missed it.
