I really like this community. It's friendly in the same vein as Doge, and we have an important cause that we stand for   http://mintcoinfund.org/

A guy who calls himself IconicExpert claims he alone has the power to destroy a coin....imagine that. It looks like Whitecoin set a trap for him, and he fell into it and now he's trying to get ahead of the story.

Edit: Some of the other coin threads creep me out for real. I'm just gonna stick with Mint and our sane community.

I think that's a good idea. I would throw some mint at the proposal. We need someone with a lot of "Karma"...a long time Reddit user to start tipping some Mint.

Of course, this doesn't mean people can't tip on their own. Doge community tips like crazy and they have over 75000 subscribers on their subreddit  Doge was my first crypto purchase because of this. I knew what Dogecoin was before I knew what Bitcoin was, no kidding.  Even if Mint gets to 10000 subscribers I think our low satoshi days would be over.

Also, might want to update the information. Site still says mintcoin is a PoW\PoS coin. Sorry to sound so critical, I really appreciate all the efforts going on. The site looks great, just needs some updates. I'm not sure David was ready\planned to unveil it yet.

I think charity is great, but right now we need to raise the price. To do that we need more buyers. To get more buyers we need to raise awareness. To raise awareness we need to tell people about Mint.

Not to my knowledge. They already have 20,000 merchants however, contrasted with coinkite who has less merchants than Mintcoin! Yep, we have more merchants than coinkite.  

Like I said, accentuate the positive. We don't need to tie ourselves to shady pay to play start ups, then hype them up like they are the Visa of the crypto world. Let's stop talking about what other coins are doing and remind people about what we have ALREADY done.

I think we should focus on making Mintcoin stronger. Accentuate our positives while furthering development. Why should we be chasing down start ups asking them to add our coin? It should be the other way around. Coinkite is a start up. https://bitpay.com/ is the current industry standard.

As I mentioned before, Vault of Satoshi is used by bitcoin atms for exchange purposes. If Mintcoin becomes popular enough, there is a possibility people will be able to access Mintcoin through atm in the future.

I want to remind people that we are one of the few coins listed on Vault of Satoshi, an exchange with a full money service business license in Canada. It may be more helpful to differentiate ourselves from clone coins rather than chasing them because they currently have a higher market cap. We should be growing along with VOS over the next few months, but this won't happen if we have our attention focused on the competition and false hype. Mintcoin doesn't need false hype. Mint has a lot going for it, however the community seems to be forgetting that currently.

Anyone who can currently trade Mintcoin on VOS should be doing so.
