Uses spam bots to upping and promote their topics. Again.

Evidence for that? Project itself is legit but don’t know history of poster.

It’s my default charting app now. The layout is so much better than Dextools. I don’t have my eyes being assaulted by ads for scam tokens and the chart is nice and big. The team is also very responsive and good at integrating new chains and making partnerships. Meme game is top notch too:)
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: HEAT Discussion and Technical info on: October 25, 2017, 11:15:46 PM
This Japanese startup accelerator may be of interest to Heat:

https://www.coindesk.com/city-tokyo-announces-blockchain-startup-accelerator/

Quote
"The government of Tokyo is organizing a new blockchain-focused startup, which is set to officially start in January.

Tokyo Metropolitan Government is working with Japanese think tank Nomura Research Institute (NRI) on the "Blockchain Business Camp Tokyo," the third iteration of a series of accelerator programs that have focused on emerging technologies. The accelerator program is seeking companies based outside of Japan that are focused on applications in areas like supply chain, Internet of Things and capital markets infrastructure, among others.

The application period for the accelerator will last until Nov. 24, officials announced late last week. Five companies are expected to join, and those selected will be notified sometime in December ahead of the program's commencement the following month. The accelerator will last until March, according to statements."

That's just an excerpt from the article but I think it would be worth looking at.

Seems the rumour may be true:

What the hell is going on with Waves and Tidex supporting an MLM cryptoscam? If I'm not mistaken isn't the founder of Waves also the founder of Tidex?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2240843.0

This looks very bad for Tidex reputation and Waves by association for supporting this abomination. What's even more alarming is the trollbox mod "liberman" is banning anyone who mentions its a scam. His actions are no doubt a reflection of the Tidex and Monspace partnership in facilitating this scam.

Might be worth bringing this up in the WAVES slack.

can someone detail here how the hell i get my ellastic from blockchain.info ?? I invest in elastic last year and now I see that the main guy runned with the money , the second guy is not giving us a specific info to how to get your coins into wallet ...so in what i did invest ? cause i don't know anymore ...

You need to be able to sign a message using your private key.  Does blockchain.info wallet allow you to do that?  If not you will need to figure out a way to extract your blockchain.info private key into a wallet that does - if you don't know how ask them.  If it is not possible then you can't claim.

Great, only new Golem as supercomputer. But will for sure also try out Elastic.  Does anyone know the main differences between Elastic and Golem?

9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Kexcoin - Introducing student accommodation to the blockchain on: September 28, 2017, 09:09:20 PM
Many payments are coming in daily, admittedly much smaller than hoped but we still have a few weeks to go. You can see this at:

https://bitshares.openledger.info/account/kexgill-ico/overview/

I think you have been unlucky.  Not the best time for an ICO but there was no way of knowing that.  This is exactly the kind of project which would have been huge in China.  I'm wondering if it might make more sense to re-run the ICO at a more favourable time if the amount required is not collected.  The current amount would barely buy a mid sized house in London.

In the "security update" you said there would be daily btc transfers to cold storage.

But nothing has been transfered for 4 days now.

How come?

Because nobody is buying any I presume.  You can't transfer it if there is no Bitcoin to transfer.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES | Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform | unofficial supporters topic on: September 21, 2017, 12:43:17 PM
we get charged twice if we want to withdraw BTC to outside wallet
0.001 waves fee (this is very small) for processing transaction on waves blockchain and
0.001 gateway fee in BTC (this one I asked) for actual transaction on bitcoin blockchain

Which makes sense since you are transacting on two blockchains when you do this.

somebody insane trading PRO IOUs on hitbtc at 0.072 ETH rates... hope this price on exchanges  Cheesy

No it will never happen.  This is a scam that HitBTC pull with most ICOs.  I suspect most of the traffic is fake and designed to get the odd sucker to pay multiple times the actual price to buy tokens.  Once the tokens are released the price will plummet and they will be left holding a bag that is worth significantly less than what they paid for it.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XEL] :: Elastic - The Decentralized Supercomputer :: on: September 17, 2017, 06:42:56 PM
No misinformation intended. If I was wrong about this I stand corrected and appreciate the correction. I am all for complete transparency and honesty unless it collides with more fundamental issues as privacy and such (such as the right to remain anonymous and yet involved).

No worries I didn't think it was deliberate - there is just so much going on with so many different projects there is no way one single person can keep up with everything or even remember everything.  Its just I know what people in crypto tend to be like - they cry scam at the slightest thing so that is why I wanted to clear it up:)

16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XEL] :: Elastic - The Decentralized Supercomputer :: on: September 17, 2017, 12:38:49 PM
Is there any reason to believe that this will or can really become a super computer that is decentralized?
Here I thought we were investing in rubber bands

Yes the primary rubber bands on a blockchain project Wink

No. No reason - that is why we are all here.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XEL] :: Elastic - The Decentralized Supercomputer :: on: September 17, 2017, 12:33:27 PM

People believe any crap written in an article without trying to check stuff out (yes, an article which lacks accurate data and invents stuff up is crap). That is probably why they think Lanister was an important dev that left. Amazes me how people are manipulated easily for their own laziness.

I'm afraid you are wrong here.

Best to be honest and not spread misinformation even if it is well meaning.  If we don't state things correctly people will accuse us of covering things up.

Lannister was the original developer - I remember personally messaging him about the project before EK even joined.  He did contribute a lot of work towards the project which if I remember right even EK mentioned when he left.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XEL] :: Elastic - The Decentralized Supercomputer :: on: September 17, 2017, 12:28:35 PM
If you mean Lannister, he was not a dev AFAIK.

Yes he was but it doesn't matter because EK had already taken over a lot of the work before he left.

Nice to see the new topic is finally up.  Unfortunately there is no way to edit the old thread to point here.
