There are still those who have not got a coin? To me and to my friend did not come coins. Have to worry or wait?
They are still coming and probably will be for a few more days yet. I was somewhere around 27000 when I got my first token and haven't received anything yet. To get all the way through all 49750 will take a while. Because we all know how fair it is to slowly roll payments out so some people get coins before others. While it is on an exchange, allowing people who get their coins first to dump before everyone else. This coin is so ironic. First a very skewed distribution because of people gaming the system. Some of us have lives and cannot sit in front of computers all day gaining stake and then there are those who used scripts and bragged about it on the forum. Then this staggered release where people who get their coins first can start trading days before other people. I hope you guys are happy. Everyone in this thread claiming it is 'fair' also has a bunch of stake and are displaying skewed judgment. The coin really should not claim fairness, it does not hold up. In fact it is one of the less fair distribution systems. It is not on any exhange, and it wont be before everyone have their coins. Sorry about that, guess I am just spreading disinformation from previous posts. Does not change the fact that I feel it is unfair that I have only 1 stake because I was trying to not be greedy and others ended up with hundreds.

I will not divulge my strategy until after the game is over, but I am currently up 620%

From 200 Satoshi to 30 Satoshi... in one night are you serious? IPO holders would not dump their shit? Market looks quite different...
Do you really still think it's smart to buy IPO and that it is healthy for a market when millions of coins are spread around in the same hour?
This was somewhat expected. Wait a few days to make an analysis.

Yeah, like these last few yin yan requesting accounts are real. Unfortunately people like that might just ruin it for everybody. There have been a bunch coming from one person.

"incorrect or no genesis block found. Wrong datadir for network?" error on loading GPUcoin wallet in Windows. Just started happening all of a sudden. Anybody else with same prob ? Just backup wallet and reinstalled. Did NOT fix ! Using wallet on Windows 7 system. New wallet was fine for past 3 days then this Find the location of the 'AppData' or 'Application Data' folder. It might be hidden (it is in XP). For some it is under C:/Users/Owner or something like that. You can search for it. There should be a folder with the gpucoin settings. Open this and delete everything but the wallet.dat file. Make sure you have the latest version and run your wallet again. This happens when your computer is storing old settings because at some point you installed an older version, after running again they will be generated with the correct settings.

I don't think they are done with distribution. I have not received coin yet and have one stake.

Donations welcome, I thought we only to one token to keep it fair Now i am reduced to begging because there is no other way PLease help me get some more fHYzTno9iXXnGjs9h8KJ5KupLUhb4mbfwf Thank you Same boat. I thought the having to wait an hour before submitting your token was a mechanism to prevent the collection of many stakes by one person. The opposite happened - it allowed for people who had means such as time or computer expertise to get way more stake than other people. I don't mind that this happened, it is just not true the the coin was 'fairly distributed'. We will have to wait for another coin to be the 'first fairly distributed' coin. This whole distribution idea was a trainwreck. People who played fair only get small stake, cheaters and people who game the system get lots of stake. So much for 'faircoin'.

if their store release then with reasonable gpucoins heck the value will skyrocket! The prices are going to be the market value of GPUc for BTC. In other words, the CEO could have opened his ship and just sold his video cards via BTC instead of stringing us along into mining his crapcoin to trade for the BTC equivalent of GPUs Many stores sell hardware with bitcoin. I would not have invested in this. This is an idea that creates a new niche - and since it is one of the first I believe it will be successful. "crapcoins" are coins that have nothing supporting it, no real service - this is definitely not one of them.

Wait... So if the coin is named Fail and it Succeeds, which has it done? With the only pool down for the night, maybe the Dev should put that pre-mine to use and offer a few bounties for pools, block explorer, etc...? Come on, might as well have some fun with this one... It means it has failed at failing, making it a huge success of a launch. All I can say is: Fail. Fail coins should not be successes. What a huge failure.

when will we get our IPO coins?
When the owner decides to take the thirty minutes to send out the IPO coins in his wallet to investor's addresses. There are not that many of us.

All you have to do is unselect 'hide system folders' from options ...
They don't have that option in XP (atleast not this version). And it is not "AppData" in XP, it is "Application Data". I tried searching for %AppData% with no results. I finally found it by searching for the config file and having enabled searching for hidden files and directories.

I would do a windows search of all files and folders on your pc including hidden files and folders and delete anything related to gpucoin.
Re-download the client and see if that works.
Thanks, I will try this. I solved the problem with your help. It is somewhat odd and probably unique to XP. I was using the latest client. I have a folder called "AppData" in my Owner's directory. It contains the configuration for one coin and was probably generated when I installed that coin. In the same directory there is a hidden folder called "Application Data". The only way I found it was by searching for hidden files, in the Owner directory it does not even give the option to make hidden files un-hidden. I found the config file and deleted. Thank you very much.

Can someone please tell me if they can get the wallet working on XP and how they did so, rather than say something rude about needing to get a new computer like that last person - which is absolutely useless advice to me.
Otherwise I am selling my stake since I cannot receive it.
I know this really doesn't help but I'm running the wallet (v0.8.6.2) on XP and I haven't had any problems. What is happening with yours? Has the wallet fully synced with the network (lower right hand corner, green check mark)? I unzipped the latest client, when I try to run it it gives an error message about the genesis block not being found and then forces me to close it. Nothing is generated in the AppData folder. I usually just unzip the wallet client (and other files with it) and it runs. First time I am having problems with a wallet on this computer. You can also try a conf file, which should be in the same directory: rpcuser=<your username> rpcpassword=<your pass> rpcport=<I picked 6857> daemon=1 server=1 rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 addnode=188.226.166.12 addnode=107.170.227.7 addnode=188.226.169.204 addnode=128.199.220.62 addnode=107.170.36.126
Please note that my conf file is setup in case I want to solo-mine, which is not really a great idea tbh. All you probably need are the addnode lines. *sighs* THERE IS NOTHING IN APPDATA. This is literally the third time I have been given these instructions. They do not work. Please if anyone has advice do not repeat this. Are you sure you have the latest wallet? If I remeber correectly when uzipped only thing there was the wallet-qt and gpucoindeamon.exe Yes. Those are the two files I have as well.

Less of the *sighs*. Rit. I said clearly there was nothing in appdata to remove and your response was to remove the stuff in appdata. I don't want help from people who just repeat the same things that are not working. It is just frustrating. If you cannot read the description of my problem please stop parroting the generic advice. You're running the old client, you ungrateful ass.I am running the latest client that was posted. I unzipped it to a different directory and am not using the old one. There is nothing in the appdata file to delete.
