1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CHIA XCH mining: Why mining without value? on: June 21, 2021, 12:59:59 PM
XCH going below $100

HDD's going to $1k, right now all are back-ordered, and over $50 per TB. 6tb drive is 51 plots, err 5.1TB, today at $4/mon-tb, that's a big $20/month, for a $300 drive ( price now for 6tb drive ), the 18tb drives are now $1k

Then of course the space is still doubling every 2-6 weeks, so price goes to zero, and space to infinity

The only way to win the chia game is to not play.

Newegg has lots listed in the $20-30 per TB range.

Why here is 6TB seagate in stock $97….

18tb drives in stock for $599

I dont mine CHIA but whatever has you so upset about it…doesnt seem to be based in reality.

NEW-EGG is only for the NA market, its not available to 90% of the earth.

If Newegg is selling them at that price so is EVERYWHERE else.  Quit with the BS dude.  Drives are not crazy prices like you describe…just like you have stated you had a RTX 30XX card last summer…BEFORE they were ever released.  You are easily proven to be full of crap.

6TB in UK £178

You are so easily proven wrong … stick to the technical mumbo-jumbo you spout off and take your aspergers meds.

But total volume 24hr $5k…on a single super shitty exchange.  No thanks.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Clamcoin for sale heavily discounted from pricing on CoinMarketCap & CoinGecko! on: June 20, 2021, 02:12:20 PM
Coingecko has it correct.

Price $0.35 and volume is $2.20 total.

More like clam shit.

21 days?  NO.  They won't change it until at least DEC or Jan 2022.

at the current price that's over 30K in profits.  This isn't being "greedy".  It's being smart if you can get your hands on one of these machines
for less.

That was very rude to make such a comment by the OP.

Andy

Im sorry for your loss because your desire for quick profit blinded you to the obvious scam this was.

 Huh
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: info@linzhi-miner.co on: June 17, 2021, 12:39:12 PM
So wait….you thought a 21 day ROI was legitimate?
Really.

Im sorry for your loss but your greed has led you into this situation.

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: XMRIG for MacOS working for CPU and AMD GPUs on: June 15, 2021, 06:08:40 PM
The cpu miningis fine its the gpu mining thats all over the place.
I can get around 10khs out of cpu on monero.  But want to use the gpu in the unit.  its a nice beast.

GPU hashrate could vary depending on display activity. It does on Windows with certain algos.
I've seen up to 40% faster when the monitor goes to sleep.

Nothing is on the monitor.  I cant disconnect but im not using this mac pro for anything just letting it mine.  I susepct its thermal cycling due to being all in one 27” i mac pro.

What i can use is help with optimizing the parameters for it in the config file.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 5.6d: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux) on: June 15, 2021, 06:06:59 PM
Hello, i have 4 computers with some cards in theirs.

I have problemas only with 1 PC, (who have only 4 GB ram memory) and the problem is GPU1: Allocating buffer failed with: clCreateBuffer (-4)

idk if the problem is by insuficient RAM memory, but its the same/Similar config in all pcs

my others PC have: (are 4 in total, 3 good 1 bad)

8 -8 - 32 GB RAM
20 GB in virtual memory
Windows 7 in one. Windows 10 1909 in the others
Driver 19.7.5

And never have a problem and have 3 cards for less in each pc.

The problematic PC have only 4 GB of RAM memory and windows 10 20H2, the rest config is the same with the others pcs

increase your hard drive space!

Funny i mine on 4gb total system ram and no drives just thumbdrive.  i think maybe you are doing this wrong.

Hi, buddies,

My 3060Ti have problem when using lolminer.  After new DAG, my 3060Ti begin producing lots of invalid shares.
It is needed to reboot the lolminer, finish DAG, and then overclock it to resume normal condition.
It annoys me too much!

Any solution to solve this problem?

ganzocrypt,

Yes sure its a 2017 mac pro 3.0ghz Xeon 10core 64gb ram unit
GPU is the Radeon Pro 64 16gb unit.
ive stuck it on rvn and going from 5-17mhs (i think itmay be thermal throttling)

Ive had no real luck tuning the setting for the gpu.  Everything ive tried lowers or doesnt seem to affect its speed.

OSx 10.15.7

My guess is a CPU affinity problem, which is OS specific and likely not implemented for MACOS.
Without it the OS will schedule the mining threads wherever it wants instead of assigning each
thread to a specific CPU core. If MACOS has process monitoring tools you can probably prove it.

That's weird...

I haven't BIOS moded my card, so I would suggest a clean install of your OS (win10? That's what I'm using) along with changing to the default BIOS on your GPU. I'm on 21.4.1 aswell.

Pcie 2.0 has half the bandwidth of the 3.0, so I'm not sure this would be the reason for getting less than half the hash rate of what I'm getting with a weaker card without BIOS mod.

Worst case scenario, try to get a used MOBO with pcie 3.0 if you plan on mining for the future, my rampage 3 extreme is going for around usd 200 on ebay in the US and you could in theory use it with more than 4 gpus without much hassle (i only have one).

I'm on W7, trying to avoid 10 if possible. My install discs are 90 mins away, so I'm not doin that right now lol.

And I'm on stock BIOS and physical switched to mining mode, and checked both BIOS to be sure they are correct.

PCI2 2 is prob the case why it's not running fully, I'd just like conformation.

Like when I first got it, I tried playing the reboot RE2, and it wouldn't run worth a crap, so, it's a sign I should have noticed.

When this computer was new, it was a top of the line AVID edit machine, but that was like 08 or 09, so it's been a while. The only reason I'm on it now is my half as old computer bit the dust suddenly, so I'm kinda stuck. I didn't try any games on the old one btw, so no benchmark there either.

I have some coins, if only Doge could hit like $2 ea, I'd take 1/4 and build a new one lol. (well, 2, one to mine and one for me!)

If you want to know for sure get a usb memstick 16gb or bigger and stick one of the linux mining OSes on it.  Can boot and see if cards mine then its windows (7).
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mineable coins whit 3gb gddr? on: June 06, 2021, 04:31:37 PM
Still depends, if it's AMD the card can do better with cryptonight algorithm for coins like turtle coin or quantum resistance ledger and if it's Nvidia you can get better results from Ergo, ETC, Raven coin etc though some AMD are good for Raven coin too

3gb tells you its Nvidia…and most likely a 1060 series card.

Its all about the gb’s…

You know every time a new coin comes out and makes the claim...will replace BTC.....

Yeah so far...not true...not even once.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BNBTC] BNbitcoin: PoW mined bitcoin on Binance Smart Chain on: June 03, 2021, 01:20:21 PM
Well you tagged me.  Im the guy pointing out the claim its been audited is untrue.  BNbitcoin even conceeded the point that it actually hasnt been audited.

If its good seems an audit would be something already done.  See false equivalence.
Another project this is “based” on was…that is not the same as this one having been audited.

So my point still stands…mr…new account just made yesterday.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining with GT 710s and 1030s? on: June 02, 2021, 09:22:02 PM
GTX1030 is about 1/2 the card that the 1050 (2gb non ti) card is.

1030 is 64bit width and only 24 compute units.
1050 is 128bit wide and 40 compute units.

See Techpowerup for details.

1030 wont mine rvn as it has only 2gb of vram.

The GDDR5 is the better version but both are garbage.
A 1050 non ti 2gb card is about 2x the speed and those are tiny.

18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: XMRIG for MacOS working for CPU and AMD GPUs on: May 31, 2021, 01:55:45 PM
Finally got time to get it installed.  Working now on gpu on randomx.  Didnt change any parameters yet except pool/wallet/algo.
Getting 5mhs on it...but will look at how parameters are set up.  Its on a Radeon Pro Vega 64.

FYI 2gb is too small for RVN.  Currently 3gb works but not for much longer due to dag growth.

Maybe can get CCX (cn/gpu) working as it does work on 2gb cards.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 💎 [easyMineable]💎 - Easy Mining Coins with unMineable on Windows/Mac/Linux on: May 30, 2021, 03:14:39 PM
So you feed off the new and uninformed.  That is what makes you despicable.  You are not helping only taking from the new / unknowing users.

As you are a completely unnecessary middle man.

There is nothing complicated about getting a machine to mine to unmineable.  They have how to for most miners and instances.  Your little front end for XMRIG isnt adding any value.

You are a leech.  I call you out for it as that is what these little middle man interfaces are.  Unneeded by everyone.

Good luck to you sir on ripping people off and wedging your unneeded uselessness in the middle.

20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 💎 [easyMineable]💎 - Easy Mining Coins with unMineable on Windows/Mac/Linux on: May 30, 2021, 01:20:52 PM
No need for this.  All three OS’s can run miners and can mine to unmineable without this BS program.  I have macs already doing this with out this garbage middle man. Some Even work support gpu on mac (linux and windows have tons of options).  Your sad front end only uses others cpu mining software.

Sorry but your software doesnt offer any advantage over what freely out there.  Quit scamming off the back of unmineable.

No one owes you any survival.

You are not offering ANYTHING that cannot be done just as easily without your silly little malware.

XMRIG works on mac / linux / windows.
