It looks like an issue with some Nicehash orders, try a different miner to confirm.
Nicehash does some funky things with extranonce2 when switching orders which switches where you actually mine.

I upgraded my computer to windows 10 (22H2 19045.2364) and now whenever i start t-rex it gives me this error:

File corrupted! This program has been manipulated and maybe it's infected by a virus or cracked. This file won't work anymore.

I've googled this message but have not found any usefull tip to solve the issue besides new drivers (remove old with DDU) and downloading a new t-rex. I did both but the problem still occurs.
Does anyone have some tips to try to solve this issue?

Thanks in advance!

I take it you have downloaded the latest t-rex from the link on the first page and your drivers are uptodate.

Regretfully I cannot help you any further with Windows as I am running Debian testing as my daily driver and on another rig for mining.

I have laptop with 3070 gpu, I use it to mine when it does nothing else ...

Well I cant change power settings on it but sometimes it take 94W of power and then it is hot and loud and sometimes (rather rare cases Smiley) it takes 79W of power and then it is cool and quiet (hashrate more or less is same). Is there a way to set it always to be on 79W or that thing is beyond t-rex's control (some HP o15 own secret thing that is beyond my control).

sorry for my english. I hope you got my question Smiley

Use MSI Afterburner to set the Power limit to 79 watts.

if I cant set power setting in t-rex, you think MSI Afterburner allows it ?

edit:
actually after installing msi afterburner --pl option started to work Smiley was it because installing afterburner ? or was I wrong at begin ? Smiley afterburner shows power limit lever but nothing happened when I used it.

My guess is the varying power was due to thermal throttllng reducing the clock. Once you were able to set a lower power limit throttling bercame less likely and the power
leve was more stable. If the clock is lower there will likely be some effect on hashrate. Additional cooling for the laptop would be a good idea for many reasons.
I have no clue why installing afterburner made a difference.

Is the t-rex miner still developing?

I have 4 Nvidia A-4000s, when I try to run all 4 of them, after a while (it can be 5 minutes, 15 or 20) the computer just reboots. With 3 pieces it also reboots. With 2 pieces it works fine. Mining ravencoin. T-Rex 0.26.8, Win 10 Pro

Dude we are in 2024 and not 2023  Cheesy. The miner was last updated after the ETH merge. T-Rex is dead for over 1 year so you both are wrong Grin
Sad to see such reliable miner and developer leaving the communities alone without any statement. Sure it is their right, but they made also much money with the mining community, so a short statement would be nice, but thats a dream.
