I guess it was caused by the second layer smart contract that was already eating big shares of eth markets all in all, even after the merge, eth value still isn't moving, it's still stuck, the demand for eth decreases because there are many 2nd layer solutions that's just better than eth in general, moreover their gas fee are significantly lesser than eth, no reason coming back to eth again therefore eth lacking demands, I think that's the reasoning.

If you could cash it out and still profitting I think it's wiser if you take your profit, I see no future for luna, you better off investing in other coin like matic and sol. after all if you're waiting for luna to increase, it's like waiting meme coin and even shitcoin in general to increase, you never know where it will occurs since luna itself is already could be considered as dead coin since that's just how it is.

I think even if there's massive discount in value it's just better if you hold from investing in old coin with smaller market capitalization and isn't having high ranks since they would never get other chance of massive increase in value, you see many coins are actually failing very hard like eos, etc. investing in newer coins like matic and sol seems better, since they've got the momentum in increasing their value easily and haven't truly reached their true potential.

around these trend, the coins in general will have discounted price simply caused by the fact that there's gonna be corrections that could make their value goes lower, what's important though that you could accumulate around the time that the coin recently have correction so you could invests at the very bottom of the coins value. therefore by that even if the coin make small recovery you're already making profit, even though it seems the coin is losing value but surely in the future once bullish finally comes, it will eventually recovers back its value.

unfortunately we are all gonna face the crisis in the end year of 2022, usually this means a long lasting downtrend that investments gonna have in general, so I think seeing the current circumstance of ETH that even the merge couldn't really increase eth value reaching $4K seems unrealistic even though if bullrun comes reaching $4k is such a piece of cake, it's just the circumstance isn't really supportive towards investments in general.
