1161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We need more decentralized stablecoins on: November 11, 2020, 07:49:19 AM
But how though. Decentralized stablecoin also carry its advantage and disadvantage, my main concern is how that stablecoin could reserve money? is it by letting some people staking usdt and let them earn from fee or what? the reason behind why so many stablecoin is centralized is because they could provide money to reserve for their stablecoin and i can't see that kind of thing is an easy feat for decentralized stablecoin.
1162  Other / Archival / Re: DeFi hyip is over? on: November 11, 2020, 03:45:28 AM
maybe it's still not completely over because I see there are still many scam projects that are late and still trying to fool everyone, but for sure the defi hype has died down, not crazy like last month
It's basically the same cycle as ICO and IEO but atleast we got uniswap now a quite convenient dex to use. But honestly Defi project if not devoured by these sporadic scams should be quite revolutionary to solve problems by decentralizing it and now it's another story. I guess scam really does destroy many good things and unfortunately they are not going anywhere anytime soon because they are literally everywhere.

Too many DeFi projects created, even some of them were not a DeFi project before, turned into a DeFi project later.
What i can say is, we should not investing on a project just because it follows the hype or trend.
Hypes or trends will ends, but real project won't end without return of investment.
can't agree more. shouldn't force a project to become a defi otherwise will fail so hard.
1163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did anyone had idea to create such stablecoin? on: November 11, 2020, 12:58:01 AM
Some people just want 1:1 ratio to USD and not to usd's value because it will be huge headache. nothing is truly stable but atleast with USD you get that quite stable value movement and adding this kind of "feature" to a stablecoin might spell unnecessary complication.
Maybe right now we better stick to what we currently have but if anyone have the guts to create this kind of stablecoin then feel free to try. there must be people out there that willingly uses that stablecoin.
1164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Scam? ICO Scam? IEO Scam and Now DeFi Scam? on: November 10, 2020, 03:41:09 PM
People who don't do research before investing on crypto projects will surely end up losing their money to scammers, newbies always like blaming the technology when they fall for scams, saying bitcoin is a scam of such but huge numbers of scam projects did exists, without proper research one will eventually get caught in scammers trap
It looks like the majority of blamers came from the newbies who didn't know how to play in the crypto. I saw so many newbies were blaming anything when they were getting lost.
Even if they were losing in trading activities and they will be visiting the telegram group and they will say that as a scam while the team has no control over the price of coin and market.
They need to be educated.
1165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Recent situation of Cryptocurrency... on: November 10, 2020, 02:36:16 PM
truth is no one know for sure. like for example the emerges of defi projects no one know it's gonna happen that could trigger the bullish market. right now the crypto situation is kinda good seeing its got recognition from many sides and I think it's logical to expect some bullish market in the upcoming future but you should be prepared if nothing happened because as i said earlier no one knows for sure.
1166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Tezos going to be next Ethereum? on: November 09, 2020, 06:21:12 AM
Doubt it because lets us speaking logically here. Ethereum stands very strong as 2nd top alt coin of all time with 2nd highest market cap and it will be there unless there's some massive things happen that could bring it down to the ground. So much project using their erc-20 token and none of them want to see ethereum price sinking. Tezos on the other hand, not many people heard about them while ethereum is pretty much known by so many people that knows the existence of cryptocurrency. If tezos turns out to be 2nd highest market cap alt in the upcoming years. I'd be very amazed.
1167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple the next bitcoin? on: November 09, 2020, 03:20:58 AM
Well, for me it's not gonna happen. Why? Because Ripple is just an altcoin and it will remain altcoin forever. Bitcoin is the most supported coin in almost all exchanges out there even here in my country all exchanges prioritize Bitcoin on it's launch. Ripple on the other hand is a centralized crypto and that is one of the problem enthusiasts and investors are taking into consideration which is the privacy. We are here for decentralization so I don't think a centralized coin will ever replace Bitcoin on it's throne. Ethereum can't even do that anyways so it sounds too good to be true for Ripple.
The thing with ripple is the total supply that's just so high it's unreal tbh. it just doesn't make sense for ripple price to go up otherwise it will eat up large number of crypto market share. Ripple price as of now is already the best price point. Not too much not too low. idk why people keep asking who's the next bitcoin while bitcoin is not gonna go anywhere anytime soon and you can't ignore the fact that everytime ordinary people mention crypto it's bitcoin that what they meant.
1168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New defi project fake volume in uniswap? on: November 08, 2020, 10:49:55 PM
Not only defi projects but there are plenty projects out there making fake volume and its sole purpose is to attract some people and tricks them into thinking that the coin has quite high liquidity while actually it's not. It happens everywhere man and we should be the one that tries to find out which has fake volume and avoid them. this practice so common it's actually considered a normal phenomenon by day to day traders.
1169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Escrowed very important for bounty? on: November 08, 2020, 06:22:57 AM
It's important but not very important, it's not everything that will put the credibility of the project if is legit or not, it guaranty that the token will be distributed in the right time, but legit and honest projects do no lock, delay and scam bounty hunters, they have a reputation to protect because they are long term project and they want to have goodwill on investors and bounty hunters.
and how exactly you determine a legit project though there are some cases of big projects that's said to have big credibility but turns out they didn't even want to hand out bounty or instead distributing a useless shitcoin version of their real coin instead. I think escrow is really important and anything if possible should use escrow just to guarantee that both side aren't taking losses.
1170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it over for Binance IEO? on: November 08, 2020, 02:37:50 AM
It's not like binance is the only factor that could make the project success or fail. Maybe the current IEO is not really that success because they are running out of good projects?. If the first question you ask when you invests into an IEO and that IEO happens to fail or dissappointing is "what's wrong with binance?" then you should ask yourself whether you really understand which one  you are  investing binance or the project itself.
Also their usual hundreds percent of ROI, that money coming from somewhere else and not out of thin air.
1171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal customers will be able to use BTC, ETH and other cryptos to pay merchants on: November 08, 2020, 01:19:40 AM
this really great news for crypto world
PayPal has been granted a first of its kind conditional Bitlicense by the New York State Department of Financial Services and will begin enabling its 346 million users to to buy, hold and sell cryptocurrency directly from their PayPal account from early next year.
you can read the full article here
https://www.finextra.com/newsarticle/36795/paypal-to-support-cryptocurrency-across-it-consumer-and-merchant-network

does this mean we near with the bull trend on crypto market ?

I think it's still in the planning stage. The truth can be ascertained by 2021 according to the information presented on the site. If this goes well, I think international purchases will be easy.

Still a good thing though I'm pretty sure that they gonna just go with the plan in the future, so many untouched "profit" potential by implementing crypto which is now seen as the norm or instrument of investment.
Not to mention that there's a rumour revolving around stating that paypal already have a plan for their own digital currency.
At the very least paypal is not gonna banned paypal account that was made for buying or selling crypto out of the blue like they used before.
1172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sell Algorand Fast, hitting to 0 = -10x loss on: November 07, 2020, 10:25:23 PM
I do agree with your statement and this is a garbage coin

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/algorand/

Algorand was trading -92% from the ICO price. This garbage coin never gets a pump. There's no good news even this company has raised a lot of money from the market.
A shit scam money grabber.
This coin will die soon. The current pump that happened in algo just a small pump that brings nothing.
1173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Binance in a risk of being shut down? on: November 07, 2020, 10:03:05 PM
i really wasn't sure if they were going to be shutdown easily. i think binance is one of the top exchange and i personally using it although it is right that you can easily do a money laundering through their exchange.
It will never be shutdown caused by this news was fake news created by the crap site. The reputation of coingeek is the same as blockcrypto which always wanna try to spread the fake news to the crypto users. coingeek was trying to spread that fake news about the possibility for binance to be shutdown.
Binance has acquired its license to be operated. There's no strong indicator for binance to stop its service
1174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Uniswap has made it easier for scammers? on: November 07, 2020, 03:37:13 PM
You can't do anything to reduce the scam coins that are still being added into the dex. We have no control over the dex and what we can do to create a lot of awareness to make sure people will not go to buy such crap coin.
Uniswap has been giving the easiest way for scammers to listing his coin and adding small liquidity to lure people to buy the scam token.
I have seen so many fake tokens appeared on uniswap.
1175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Youengine (YOUC) failed on: November 06, 2020, 10:59:02 PM
I think one of the main reason is a large token supply. They also given 3million token for bounties which is massive. So, there is enough sell orders but no buy orders on the market. For that price is going down.

But their product is not launched yet. So, we can't tell anything yet. They have a good roadmap, if they follow it, Youengine will be a good project.
Large total supply didn't matter so much as long as there are enough volumes in the market. The problem is only on its daily trade. You must also see a big spread between the sell and buy orders.
that means the volume is so low and it can't eat a big portion of coins at once.
That's why the price plunged after the distribution of the bounty coins.
this is always happening with small project and we can't argue it caused by we have known the reason.
1176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KUCOIN still locked ARX Tokens? on: November 06, 2020, 10:57:11 PM
This is caused by the hacking case and mostly coins were getting available for trade, WD or deposit only major currencies. There are a bunch of small coins in kucoin that were still getting locked.
Kucoin has stated the exchange site will make an official statement if there's a new about re-opening the trading, WD and deposit service for ARX. Just keep in touch with kucoin admin in telegram group.
1177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another 2017 kinda year is already around the corner on: November 06, 2020, 04:25:03 PM
that's probably true but I'm more expecting steady growth of price rather than a burst of pumps and then pop off like a bubble. The adoption will bring the whole crypto market real benefit rather than temporary pump so It's actually better year than 2017. Many big corporate and countries also starting to put their attention to crypto but not in a bad way. I'm more pumped for this year than in 2017
1178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain based mobile voting App on: November 06, 2020, 02:56:03 PM
I've read this topic in reddit honestly back then but already forgot the link to the topic but there's already rumour around about using blockchain for voting even Andrew Yang proposes about it but back then people couldn't give less attention to this topic LOL. but there's certainly some security concern that needs to be adressed before blockchain based voting becomes viable. Not to mention that mobile apps tend to be unreliable when it comes to important thing like this.
1179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My suggestion for new projects team who want to promote their projects on: November 05, 2020, 03:40:54 PM
So many unnecessary step or measurement need to be taken while you can just solve it using stablecoin. Using stablecoin to pay participants is by far the most effective way to avoid dumping but if the alt is already strong enough these kind of solution you mentioned not gonna be needed since big volume means less chance of dumping if the bounty allocation only takes up some small percentage.
1180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 10 projects that will fly in 2020-2021 on: November 05, 2020, 10:08:42 AM
Privacy coins are still important and let's face it, Monero just won't scale well as we all move forward.  Mimblewimble is the answer to scalability and even better privacy then what currently exists for mainstream privacy coins.
privacy coin got attacked right and left at this point by the government. these private coin just really seem vulnerable. some people not going to invest into it if there's any safer coin out there that will save you from all the hurdles and problems.
the privacy coin feature is really niche and you know that not all of the people are in favour of that feature. some people just want something normal that generates money like holding bitcoin or staking eth.
