1081  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Data safety on Centralized exchanges on: December 06, 2020, 04:27:22 PM
Don't talk data safety when you still trust your data to an exchange in which you don't even know who's the team running that exchange. Imagine handing over credentials to these strangers.
Leaked email is some measly thing compared to the valid government ID being leaked. But, people always overlooked such thing and let it go as if it's not gonna give them bad effect in the long run.
1082  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price of Bitcoin may increase normally but not as much as 400K on: December 06, 2020, 02:29:38 PM
But I wonder who decides the ultimate btc price? If you think in that way, it's really impossible to imagine a simple Bitcoin a unit price to be worth $14,000! So I think it can get beyond any set limit or price! Because then if btc hits $100,000 we will think 0.001 btc as 100$ which would be the new normal!
That's true. People always doubtful when bitcoin gonna reach the price far beyond their expectation. But, imagine a coin that actually worth pennies in the past now worth $14K it's already beyond many expectation so why can't it go far up again. When it can multiple its price this much, it certainly could do that again.

Bitcoin scarcity will increase as the time goes and it's enough reason to make the price go that far actually. Maybe in the future we see bitcoin traded as few satoshis not in whole bitcoin unit, who knows? but definitely not impossible.
1083  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Email address exposure in spreadsheet on: December 06, 2020, 08:45:44 AM
Just uses an email for this specific purpose. Every manager has their own way to manage their bounties and some of them are newcomers who want to try out being a manager which means they are inexperienced.
Although I'm sure 100% that if you use your email frequently for doing things online it's already exposed somewhere else. Just be cautious I guess by not revealing your primary or important email.
1084  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Do you think these trading features can be useful? Sell-All, Bulk-Buy, Random... on: December 06, 2020, 03:25:49 AM
Those features are very niche, good for some people but majority of us doesn't really need it. I mean, when making buy or sell order I'd like to do it manually if my crypto is valuable.
However, what more important than that features is exchange reputation so if there's no reputation there's no user which therefore means no one uses that feature in the first place.
1085  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where DeFi is headed on: December 05, 2020, 03:28:41 PM
I really think that there gonna be some kind of evolution from Defi to form a better version of Defi like how IEO provides better "ICO".
Defi right now is a train wreck and hackers' gold mine. The security is just weak enough for many exploits to happen. Therefore, we need the better version of defi with enhanced security but I wonder what's that gonna be.
It seems Defi craze has died down aswell, if the hacking goes on defi gonna be dissappear very soon. This whole defi just not viable option at this point.
1086  Economy / Speculation / Re: Taking Bitcoin profit in the bull run | Please Share your strategy on: December 05, 2020, 08:57:01 AM
Everyone always make the same mistake expecting the bull run to continue while it's actually already on its peak. The ultimate strategy people use by taking off profit from the bull run is always sell when the bullrun happening and buy when the market is bearish but people just couldn't control their emotion you know.

Anyway, USDT is basically the same as fiat if you think from its value. They indeed sometime goes down well below $1 but it's gonna increase again. The market gonna fix itself.
1087  Economy / Economics / Re: Paypal bought up to 70% of all the newly mined bitcoin recently on: December 05, 2020, 06:12:47 AM
I have a feeling that many people will underestimate the amount of currency that Paypal will be pouring into Bitcoin right now, if they have decided that it will become a large part of their payment system (and it seems they have) then they will want to get hold of as much as possible. They will definitely be seeing all the hedge funds and money managers who are also snapping it up right now. 21 million bitcoins isn't really all that much in the grand scheme of things and for billion dollar businesses, the lack of erosion from interest rates will be a very tempting factor, especially when the amount in circulation will gradually be lost (either through users losing access to wallets or many tiny amounts getting abandoned). Paypal have a huge and captive market of users who will be wanting to buy into this type of "investment", even if they don't understand that their bitcoin will be trapped within the Paypal network. They may even consider the security of the Paypal network to be a very big bonus and buy more that way.
If paypal really buying bitcoins in bulk then the price gonna be going up therefore acquiring large percentage of 21 millions is not an easy feat. Honestly, it seems paypal is just trying out and see whether their business model is profitable or not. The amount the used to buy freshly mined bitcoins before are some peanuts becasue we are talking about paypal here.
But once they see the opportunity they might buy a lot more btcs than ever before, time will tell.
1088  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Staking on ETH 2.0 on: December 05, 2020, 04:16:30 AM
There's some people called bag holder who gonna keep their crypto for a long time. This staking is maybe targeted at them who don't have any problem with staking for long period of time.
So when they are waiting for the price to go up, there's nothing wrong with staking it. Gonna get dem profits I guess.
1089  Economy / Speculation / Re: Seems like the bullrun is over this year! on: December 04, 2020, 11:05:30 AM
Nah, correction doesn't mean the end of bullrun and we could build up the bullish market again after awhile. So many large corporations focused on adopting crypto more specifically bitcoin after all.
Maybe we gonna see some bullrun again but take my opinion with grain of salt since everything could happen in crypto market,.

Anyway, why invest your daughter's saving? Cryptocurrency is considered as high risk high return investment and using that kind of important money is not advised.
1090  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coinbase or Circle or someone from them are Satoshi on: December 04, 2020, 08:35:38 AM
Definitely not. being the first legit service provider for cryptocurrency doesnt mean they are satoshi or anything like that. It just happen that they sees the opportunity of cryptocurrency and decide to start their company
It's ridiculous even to think that satoshi is their people because if satoshi want, he could cash out all the btc and become rich without even need to start a company.
1091  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Crypto live forever or die? on: December 04, 2020, 06:20:19 AM
LOL. Why Bitcoin wouldn't survive if a world war starts? During the previous war, all the currencies survived,  gold as well, so why not with Bitcoin? Because it's virtual?. Bitcoin will always be there even if there are only a dozen people left who use it
In reality, in the case of world war, it could even increase drastically if people decide to use it as a safe haven.
I think Bitcoin has nothing to do with World War II so why Bitcoin will not survive when the world war starts Bitcoin is saving a lot of people from unemployment so I think Bitcoin is a very good thing I want this bitcoin to go much further and use it  Bitcoin is a thing that no one can say when it will rise or fall again
People might speculate that if world war starts internet will be down therefore their conclusion why crypto could die but actually without internet it could still survive. funny thing is people consider crypto heavily dependent on internet while it's definintely NOT. you can connect the computer across your office with local network and start cryptocurrency there.

Even if the whole internet down, if some peolpe still back up the blockchain then it can be revived again. as simple as that.
1092  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is going to be the next gem on: December 04, 2020, 01:17:29 AM
The value already surpasses gem, as I googled 2 carat gem priced at $4000 whle we're at $20K and bitcoin is definitely far more precious than gem in many people's eyes despite it's being a digital currency with no pyhsical appearance.
It's only matter of time until mass adoption come and the price of bitcoin goes up again. Heck at this point I'm not doubtful when someone says it's gonna hit a hundred thousand but yeah we'll see.
1093  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If Facebook launches LIBRA then nobody will invest in it on: December 03, 2020, 11:04:02 AM
Libra initially already have many investors but most of them withdrawing because Libra got tackled by the regulation. Also, facebook already have their own money so it's possible that they're not gonna need any investment like most of stablecoins nowadays.
Reserving money to create stablecoin which in turn earn them profits. It's gonna be your ol' stablecoin business model nothing more I guess.
1094  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will you trust the Code or Human? on: December 03, 2020, 08:54:53 AM
tbh, the fact that human has flaws means the code they produce also has flaws. There's just so much thing you don't expect could happen when it comes to security more specifically with programming and honestly I still don't really trust defi at this time. There's too much things need to be fixed but being cefi doesn't necessarily means have no flaw in code aswell. I know that with cefi atleast something could be prevented but still doesn't prevent us from losing money except they offer some sort of reimbursement if hacking occured.
1095  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mobile wallet is more important on: December 03, 2020, 06:55:25 AM
I do agree that mobile wallet is crucial nowadays and just feel more convenient but a new project usually lacking the resource to create one therefore they decide to make desktop or web wallet just to test the water. Once the project kicks off and gaining more and more attention they will eventually create mobile wallet. maybe there's technical reasoning behind that decision we don't know for sure and I guess most of blockchain developers specializes in desktop or web.
1096  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Visa Partners With Ethereum Digital Dollar (USDC) Startup on: December 03, 2020, 02:06:53 AM
This is great news lol. integration between blockchain services and these corporations is really happening. If this goes on the whole crypto market will be considered legitimate LOL.
It seems they know that they could get more users by partnering with blockchain startups. I really start to think that stablecoin gonna lead mass adoption in the future but that's just my 2 cents.
1097  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How Realistic is the whalebot alert? on: December 02, 2020, 03:59:30 PM
Might be a realistic sign of dumping if the transaction was sent to an exchange address but otherwise it's just whale moving out coin from one address to another. It's common practice for some people to always move the money so that the privkey not easily revealed/leaked or not many people trying to target or dox them.
In my opinion. Just don't really think deeply of it because 90% it's just normal occurence and won't have any impact to the market like at all.
1098  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do some people stop their crypto project? on: December 02, 2020, 10:49:43 AM
It is true, one of them is the lack of funds that they prioritize from the start to develop projects, and plus the distrust or interest of investors towards ICOs and IEOs is very large, making many projects stop their campaign because it will not be possible to run without funds, We also do not can compare the previous project with the current one, because it is very different from the current conditions, seeing the global market uncertainty so it is very difficult to build a project this year ...

That might be enoughr cause for peolpe or any developer to stop developing their project but if they were raising money from ICO or IEO then decides that their project stopped midway because insufficient fund then that team behind the project is messed up.
When a project demand or raising money from people or investor and failed to deliver the promise they keep saying earlier in the first phase then they are as bad as liar. I mean, they should have clear planning about their financial condition and if the money raised weren't enough for their plan then they should stop the fundraising instead of keep going and making people lose money.
1099  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: does it really make sense trading on Bitcoin? on: December 02, 2020, 08:35:52 AM
Well, the holders who accumulate for the time being is kinda proven to be true when they said that the price just gonna increase no matter what (i mean at the moment) and for whoever holding the bags from decades ago until recent month has got their time and effort paid off considering the price of btc right as of now.
Becoming trader is not wrong either, you can make as much if not more profit within shorter amount of time it required just do whatever pleases you.
1100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Understand how cryptocurrency scams work? on: December 02, 2020, 07:44:32 AM
Scammers are skilled and bright Person and just happen that they choose to use their ability in Wrong manner in which scamming .

Those Big time scammers are well organized and i believe same groups are running around this market and just Continue Creating different approach to Victimized crypto investors.

What we need to do is understand their ways and make sure that you are familiar so you won't get Hooked by them.
Most of scammers aren't that bright. It's those hackers who stole for example from smart contract by exploiting that have bright mind or high intelligence but most of scammers usually just luring innocent peolpe using the most basic social engineering into tricking all those people.
Trust me, if these so called scammers were really bright then they don't go around scamming people but instead make something and make money out of it but nah. Their only skill is to scam people and just that.
