1181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum (ETH) or Bitcoin Cash (BCH) which has the brighter future? on: November 05, 2020, 06:22:02 AM
Is this even a question lmao ETH for sure I mean first - it's 2nd alt coin with highest market capitalization second - ETH keeps making major update and the projects revolves around its ecosystem/blockchain is so many you will see them popping a new one everyday meanwhile BCH is just only good for sending money nothing more.
It's just no brainer to take eth with more promising future than bch. just my 2 cents tho.

regarding fee, it will be resolved eventually. just takes some time.
1182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reason Why $ETH sudden jump on: November 04, 2020, 11:32:01 PM
It's long awaited ETH 2.0 it's only normal if the price spikes and i'll be more amazed if it doesn't. Also it's been quite the roller coaster for the whole crypto market. But, I doubt its gonna solve the problem regarding transaction fee though but we'll see.

We'll see what will happen, will the gas fee get smaller and the transaction faster?  if yes this will be something good and we are ready to jump or even Dex will be used more like uniswap
Hopefully but honestly still kinda doubtful but I can imagine if more dex will be used. atleast it will give quite the competition to the centralized exchange. But i'm optimistic that a good rally will be here really soon.
1183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Better using DAI or USDT? on: November 04, 2020, 10:00:02 PM
Doesn't matter which one is better to be honest if your money is not some dirty money. but I'd go with thether just because the significant gap of volume which means more liquidity from tether

I think USDT is best all the time when i need to freeze my assets. Do you know usdt very well a stable coin so like my comfort. I could hold usdt very long time if i didn't agree using in any section. At least i use usdt more time when i wanna make trading.
USDT is only very suitable for stable coins and is very good for long-term investment and has a safe movement, it's just that the profits you get are very long because the price movements are slow and different from other cryptocurrency price movements that always move up and down quickly.
I don't think USDT is a good investment. You might aswell invest in USD because it's the same thing as stablecoin. Also to note, stablecoins are owned by private company which is centralized. should consider all the possibilities when something is too centralized.
1184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anonymous teams on: November 04, 2020, 04:27:17 PM
It is indeed a dealbreaker for most of the people that concerns about the safety of money they invested moreover if the project is demanding some funding. i'd honestly just go away and find some other trustworthy project rather than risking my money to some stranger in the internet.

It's almost as if we are certain that somethngs might deviate from what it promised if the team weren't properly presented to public. It's like they got secret that they want the public not to know about so there's that.

If they want funding they should also expose their own identity so people could judge whether that person is trustworthy or not.
1185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO, IEO, IDO, STO which best? on: November 04, 2020, 01:59:49 PM
Certainly IEO. Though usually a good IEO will definitely takes some luck and tremendous effort to get into. But, doesn't necessarily mean the other aren't as good it's all just depends on the project actually and IEO from popular platform usually turns out to be success because they got there from the fact that they are the one selected or judged as best among many by the exchange that host the IEO.

1187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] UBIATAR-AIRDROP -ICO-CRYPTOCURRENCY TO BE EVERYWHERE on: November 04, 2020, 10:21:50 AM
We are trying to add people in the telegram chat, all those people who have invested and want to join to do a class action you can add yourself to the telegram chat below. It is clear that this project with the help of Noku and unfortunately also Eidoo which allowed them to raise funds through their ICO Engine

https://web.telegram.org/#/im?p=s1201301367_8596002644746432526
It looks so crazy to see that but this must be another case like bitclave. EIDOO should also responsible for this. EIDOO was not doing proper research and that has made so many ethereum coins being stolen by this garbage project called ubiatar.

Did EIDOO give any response regarding this? This could also become the reason why people were leaving from EIDOO platform.
imagine when so many of people who invested in ubiatar were EIDOO users too in the past.
1188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] | EDO |EIDOO Wallet - Hybrid Exchange - Marketplace| OVER 80k ETH RAISED | on: November 03, 2020, 10:10:24 PM
Current pNetwork price is back to its starting price when EDO swap, is it having problems with development? Immediately after the swap it went up a lot, I thought it was a good sign but now it's the opposite.
That's called the hype. in the crypto, it's easy to create the hype by spreading good news but this pump will not remain forever as when it has ended people will be moving back again to another coin to create the same pump again.
It's not having a problem with the development progress. It's quite difficult to encourage the hype again caused by people will always jump from one to another project.
This is happening anytime.
So many good projects but these projects worth small MCAP
1189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH network under congestion now? on: November 03, 2020, 04:18:38 PM
You can overwrite your transaction with a higher fee. It will automatically suspend the previous one if the second one proceed faster. However, I have never used trust wallet before so I have no idea what to deal with this problem. I think you can manually write a support form so as to recreate a new transaction.

Currently, there are high number of transactions on the network everyday since bitcoin has gained back its price and toward a new all time high. People might try to buy more ethereum and altcoins in order to be rich whenever the second pump comes

I was suppose to overwrite as you said. But now it’s not pending anymore and marked “success”. But for the other one (which I’m the receiver), maybe I should contact him to overwrite. Is it not gonna double spend for sure right?

It's not.

when you are overwriting transaction with zero fees that means you will be cancelling your old transaction.

when you are overwriting your transaction and replace it with higher fees that means you wanna pull it to be included into the priority transaction that will be confirmed by the block as soon as possible.

As a receiver, the same mechanism will be happening. As long as you are getting some confirmations on your tx and you will be fine. You should not feel worried about that.

1191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Polkadot is the Real Ethereum killer? on: September 09, 2020, 05:18:07 AM
If people talking about polkadot taking over ethereum just because etheruem fee is currenlty high I don't think that is sufficient reasoning because polkadot itself hasn't tested its capability of scalability and relatively a young platform and still not tested neither mature enough for us to assume its real capability.

I'm a fan of Polkadot, smaller fee and faster

It's smaller in fee and faster yes but the traffic itself is not that much compared to Ethereum and what makes Ethereum gas so expensive is the traffic.
1192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust USDT? on: September 05, 2020, 03:03:29 PM
Of course all of them who taking negative about usdt, are not telling a lie! So it makes me confused about usdt whether i should trust it or not. But i didn't have any Trouble with it. Crypto industry is in bad condition after the bitcoin lost its price. Now usdt has stirred the industry by offering more stability in a volatile market, can safe crypto from price fluctuations.
As long as it's not scam and you're fine with you shouldn't be concerned about the rumor and moreover you shouldn't fully trust this stablecoin too much like leaving your money in form of USDC for many years. Just use it as you need and you wont find any problem.
If they turns out to be a scam I'm sure there gonna be so many people chasing after them any way and be prepared for the massive sueing.
1193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Crypto be more valuable than gold? on: September 04, 2020, 02:29:47 PM
You can only call bitcoin the gold of the 21st century with a great desire. At the moment, bitcoin and gold can't be compared. Go to any person and ask if they need gold, with a 99% probability they will answer "Yes". Do the same with bitcoin, and in 50% or more cases you will hear the answer "what is it?".
Then that means it'll heavily depends on the person we ask whether they are knowledgeable about bitcoin or not. I'm 100% sure people want gold just because it can be sold not because people really need it because in my opinion gold is just a stone and really have no use other than storing value because human kind have come to agree it has value.
even out there some people are exchanging their crypto for gold and other way around means it could be considered that both gold and bitcoin could be compared value wise.
1194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I need your advice on: September 04, 2020, 12:08:27 PM
Definitely ETH no need to worry about coin going to void due to high cap because the chance it get delisted from exchange is very slim that makes you always have the opportunity to withdraw it to money ltc in my opinion is out of option because its basically dying and being overtaken by many new projects right and left.
1195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Greedy crypto developers on: September 03, 2020, 02:27:06 PM
I think so too. A developer shouldn't be that unstable and always changing mind like that. They are responsible for what they offer in their whitepaper and whitepaper should only include finalized idea of what they are proposing not switching around just because the other side is greener. This also shows a sign that the developer don't even consider their project good enough to be invested so why should people bother invest to that project.
1196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Defi New revolution or just like 2017 ICO,s ? on: September 03, 2020, 09:08:05 AM
Here is my before and after thoughts about DeFi projects

BEFORE

DeFi is different from ICO completely because it's crowdfunding vs utility that's pointing to Decentralized Finance and it just got popular on its own, getting better than centralized finance now, investing in DeFi projects is futuristic investment that will bring investors huge profits.

AFTER

Well eventually DeFi will end up the same way that ICO ends up in 2017 and many DeFi projects will die and bring huge loss for those who are too hooked with DeFi because there are too many fake DeFi projects riding DeFi hype only, be careful and do very deep research on any DeFi projects you want to invest money on.
As much I hate to say this, DeFi will eventually lost its hype just like IEO and ICO back then but the main reason why ICO dies out because the scam is too rampant then come IEO that offers more security but eventually there's shady people who trying to create shady IEO by making shady exchange. but, DeFi is different than ICO and its utilities is what promises profit of an investment. But well, let's see what will DeFi ended up become.
1197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the Recent profitable coins? on: September 02, 2020, 09:56:40 PM
It's ETH for real though so many things has happened to ETH to the point that it get hyped up so many times in short amount of time.
The price is quite good aswell and it's well above the price it was when we are in bearish phase and there will be upcoming upgrade for ETH.
DeFi projects also really interesting in this year and I dont susggest alts that have quite low market capital. Just stick to the most reliable or bigger capital ones.
1198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETHEREUM GAS FEES MIGHT NEVER GO DOWN AGAIN on: September 02, 2020, 11:51:45 AM
Yeah Defi keeps dominating and the Uniswap made the transaction that is happening significantly higher in number. People should not expect the fee to experience significant decrease anytime soon because the main reason of fee increase which is uniswap still gaining momentum and probably the fee gonna increase several fold in the future.  It is time for Ethereum to find its way solving the problem because this platform gonna have massive traffic in the future.
1199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to optimally store USDC (usd coin) on: September 02, 2020, 08:53:31 AM
It's just a token on ethereum platform the same as any other. So, you can simply store it just like any other Ethereum token as you said. The most optimal way to store it is in a wallet that you think the most secure whether MEW or MyCrypto and it's as simple as that.
an Exchange usually set their own fee for withdrawal so if you use a desktop wallet you might pay less fee but that's not always the case and it depends on the exchange.
1200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ethereum overpower Bitcoin in the future? Which side are you on? on: September 01, 2020, 11:59:12 AM
I'm definitely on the side of bitcoin. Imagine a coin that started it all and still holding strong with dominance over 50%. I cant Imagine Ethereum gonna overpower Bitcoin anytime soon.
Ethereum rely too heavily on projects to use their platform but Bitcoin used widely by many people for transaction. It doesn't need Ethereum's gimmick to keep its dominance until now.
I'm very sure if people are being given these two crypto for free and to choose only one they would definitely choose Bitcoin. Bitcoin also already tested for massive traffic which proves that it is reliable for use to use as a currency.
