1061  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Constantly burning out my trades. What do I do to avoid this? on: December 15, 2020, 03:14:29 AM
Recovering that much money in such short time definintely gonna be hard and if any the risk would be the same as gambling. Why don't you just try to stake your money and wait for the profit to recover your loss although slowly, isn't it better than losing your money altogether considering as you already said higher risk and leverage?

It seems you're too hasty in your movement and that could spell your doom. Think twice first before doing anything.
1062  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will "De-Fi" replace traditional banking in the future? on: December 15, 2020, 01:18:26 AM
Doubt. De-Fi even as of now already fading out its hype, replacing traditional banking is not an easy feat and even thjere's numerous attempt of highly innovative platform trying to replace our traditional banking and most of them fail.
People already used to how the bank works and most of them aren't really welcoming to new things as it's involving their money.

Bank also still frequently used to buy or sell crypto and that alone already make it relevant enough to keep existing for centuries despite crypto rapid growth.
1063  Economy / Economics / Re: Loans are cheap good time to use loans for Investment in btc on: December 14, 2020, 04:13:00 PM
Definitely bad idea.Making 1-3% a day as you mentioned only sounds good but doesn't mean it's gonna work out. We're now near ATH aswell which means higher risk of price falling.
At this hard time it's just better to not burden ourselves with all these unecessary loans, everything could go wrong without us knowing.

Crypto as many people have said is high risk investment and this "title" is there for reason, only invest what you can afford to lose.
1064  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PUTTING CONCENTRATION ON YOUR GAS FEE on: December 14, 2020, 08:55:16 AM
I think that if you are using the wallet that was calculated the fees automatically and you didn't need to calculate it manually dude. i have been using mycrypto and this wallet is always getting updated with the latest gas fees from the ethgasstation and you can do a transaction without feeling worried if you are putting too much fees for your transaction or doing human error.
It's better to use this kind of wallet.
It's wrong, I have check it myself mycrypto charge higher fee than ethgasstation recommended. mycrypto determine 45 Gwei as standard fee, while ethgasstation determine 38 as standard fee in the same time. It mean mycrypto aren't getting updated latest fee, better to use a non-custodial wallet than can manually to adjust the fee.
happened to me for many times as well. Even BTC wallet usually have their fee which supposedly set automatically like any other modern crypto wrong aswell. It's always a good practice to recheck the required fee just in case rather than dealing with all the problems later.
Though, as I have seen wallet provided by centralized exchange usually already take care of the fee by setting the same amount of coin required for fee.
1065  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptopia Claim without KYC on: December 14, 2020, 07:08:46 AM
If your main purpose is as what you've mentioned then there's no other better move than just don't bother with that exchange anymore. If any exchange demanding KYC from me it must be the most reliable exchange out there tbh.
Handing out KYC to exchange too much also could have some bad impact to us in the long run. It's better off going to another exchange because honestly, there's tons and tons of exchanges out there created everyday. You just need to pick a new one which reliable and credible.
1066  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If all state banks will make their own cryptocurrency. on: December 13, 2020, 11:16:26 AM
These countries will just make stablecoin at most and it's just to give people a bridge that connects fiat to cryptocurrency. No such thing as war or anything that threaten our peace gonna happening, I mean our crypto market is not even that huge.
In my opinion, at most we gonna see competition of stablecoins by all these countries if they really trying to make their own crypto which actually might be beneficial to us as a user.
1067  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Airdrops or "Scam-drops"? on: December 13, 2020, 06:32:29 AM
many airdrops turned to be scams but some of them gave the participants good money. when taking part in airdrop you should initially consider it scam so later your disappointment won't be very strong.
This will actually make other people confused because when we consider an Airdrop to be a scam, then we will not immediately follow it, so there are only two ways to avoid it, first doing research on the Airdrop in depth and the second ignoring it even though the Airdrop promises rewards which is great for all of their attendees.
Well what he means is just consider an airdrop as not serious thing. It's mostly shitcoins if you just randomly follow any airdrop out there and putting a high expectation by dreaming of earning huge chunk money might make your disappointment even bigger.
People's advice are just follow it if you have free time otherwise just ignore it even better if you know which project could be worthy to follow.
1068  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH 2.0 has still no Effect on ETH price on: December 13, 2020, 05:05:27 AM
Even bitcoin halving that's people suppose to somehow increase bitcoin price turns out to have impact. Not a strange thing if ETH upgrade 2.0 don't do significant price increase considering it's been delayed over and over.

Previously I expected what the OP thought, I had to buy ETH before the v2.0 upgrade happened. But there is something strange when the news about Ethereum is spread everywhere, but there is no significant change in price. Ethereum has increased in price following Bitcoin and other Altcoins that are also bullish. Seeing this condition, I prefer to hold first on fiat and USDT.

Thank you to those of you here who explained that the v2.0 upgrade is not that special, because the Ethereum blockchain network wants to speed up the ETH coin transaction process and switch from POW to POS.
ETH is already bullish in the first place even before ETH 2.0 upgrade starting to get implemented. Can't expect something that's already up to go far beyond again.
1069  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the most important thing in the development of a project? on: December 12, 2020, 08:30:51 AM
Especially 5th point. Too much devs underestimating the reputation of an exchange without thinking far that it could affect their reputation aswell. So many projects recklessly listing their coin in an exchange where so many shady things happening and ended up stuck or labeled as accomplice of those shady exchange
They need to rethink twice before dealing with exchange that has bad reputation or else their project destined to be doomed.
1070  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook Issue on: December 11, 2020, 11:08:40 PM
Libra is cryptocurrency and works like another crypto, there's reason why they call it crypto you know and Facebook is a platform that using centralized server.
idk if Libra gonna utilize already existing blockchain or not but it's not gonna be affected by one server crashing. Honestly, i am more concerned of Libra unable to handle the massive traffic from the people who try to use it than their web server crashing because until now we still struggle solving scalability issue.
1071  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what do you think about USDT? on: December 11, 2020, 06:45:52 AM
This is why there's something called audit, the users is the one who decide whether to use this coin or not based on the audited money in the reserve. Unfortunately with stablecoins there's just not so much you can know about how much usd reserved by that stablecoin.
Though, I doubt any currency as of now still printed based on gold. I mean this kind of thing already abandoned by many countries, they are printing money just as they will right now which ofcouse comes with consquences.
1072  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Minting Of New Tokens....Does it Benefit the Project Investors ??? on: December 10, 2020, 10:23:04 AM
Definitely a slap to the investors' face. If they are minting for the sole purpose of development then what's the use of their planning earlier in ICO phase. That's actually stupid lol moreover, if a project that's popular doing some coin minting then they might be fine, the market could somehow handle it but a project with rather low market cap minting new coins doesn't guarantee it will generate money for developer but instead the price could go lower and their freshly minted coin + old coin will be worth the same.

Anyway, always stay away from this kind of project or you just have too much money on your pocket and just want to throw some lol.
1073  Economy / Economics / Re: Currencies worth less than Satoshi on: December 10, 2020, 05:16:33 AM
Some countries have currency that has somehow over inflated value but not necessarily means they are very poor. They might have low currency exchange rate but paying thousands or hundred thousands in their currency is the norm and each paper might have such high number. It's not like everyone bringing thousands of paper money just to buy egg and honestly this kind of comparison rather pointless but still not a bad thing to point out that some countries have currency with lesser value than satoshi which is a very tiny fraction of bitcoin  which kinda silly.
1074  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Altcoins replace Bitcoin?!?!? on: December 10, 2020, 03:08:29 AM
Everything is possible in the market but I think that bitcoin will remain the most dominant and popular coin till next 10 to 15 years and It will hit 1 million in value for sure if not 10 million and this recent wave of institutional interest and investments is one big stimulus that willcreate more demand for limited btc.
I would not be so categorical and make a forecast for such a long period as 10-15 years and limit myself to five years, for example. Bitcoin acts as a locomotive in the recognition of cryptocurrencies by the real world and all success in this business is usually associated with bitcoin, but there is no guarantee that after universal recognition, a more successful and promoted competitor will not appear Wink But of course, in the near future, I think the position of bitcoin as the number one cryptocurrency will be unshakable.
15 years is truly a long time for digital advancement and by then we probably see so many things new that could replace crypto or crypto itself will be developed up to its peak performance.
Compare year 2000 with 2020 so much things has changed and honestly, I'd never think any altcoin could replace bitcoin but if there's some kind of digital currencies that's gonna compete with crypto or blockchain system, they might have a chance.
1075  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lame use cases on: December 09, 2020, 02:34:28 PM
Well that's blockchain for ya, everyone could literally make things to solve a problem that doesn't exist in the first place. Like that overly saturated startup market. Though, it can still be considered as innovation, not that it's gonna cost us anything anyway.
Maybe their project could bridge the use of many cryptos into using unified means of payment who knows? however, this kind of "lame use case" is inevitable when everyone could just make something out of the blue.
1076  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Despite hitting new 2020 highs, DeFi token gains in November outperform Bitcoin on: December 09, 2020, 09:38:52 AM
Every unpopular coin that vulnerable to manipulation could outperform major coins easily. reaching the new high for bitcoin takes tremendous effort meanwhile these defi tokens that comes out of nowhere could gain 1000% easily becasue they are not big coin in the first place with relatively low market cap
It's only right to say defi outperform bitcoin if their market cap is as big as bitcoin otherwise it's like comparing ant to elephant.
1077  Economy / Economics / Re: I lost my job, how about you guys? on: December 09, 2020, 07:40:08 AM
This lockdown killed a lot of us, much more than virus. Sometimes economic problems are much worse than medical
It's really hard to make decision when you can get crushed eitherway. Not locking down means more dead peolpe due to pandemic and locking down bringing economic disaster. If the government is competent enough to do something when we are being locked down then it might ease our burden but most of the government are somewhat incompetent anyway which also brings us to another silly disaster which is pandemic spreading so fast despite the lockdown and economy collapsing.
1078  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are there any investment opportunity that ETH2.0 brings? on: December 09, 2020, 05:48:28 AM
Speaking of impact to the investor when we're staking there's many things need to be considered and one of them is volatility. You can expect quite the profit out of staking but the coin could just be dumped anytime which means your profit gone to dust except you willingly to wait for sometimes until it gets up again.

QETH is  ticker for ethereum Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) that offers an Initial Public Offering (IPO) at the Toronto Stock Exchange which means it's not hardfork or anything.
1079  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Spotify is hiring someone to work on new payment strategies, perhaps FB Diem on: December 07, 2020, 02:44:56 PM
Well, atleast libra or diem could help integrate crypto with these major services. Maybe after spotify there gonna be netflix doing the same thing or other platforms or services who knows right? usually large corporation will pratner with other large corporation.
When crypto seamlessly integrated across many platforms then we can finally ditch the over complicated crypto debit card or whatever it is. Maybe after some years we gonna see the "real" decentralized crypto being used for payment aswell.
1080  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH high gas fee on: December 07, 2020, 08:18:09 AM
I think the main thing about the ETH gas fee is that the price of Bitcoin has gone up and so the ETH price has gone up a lot so maybe the fee is too high. But now that problem may not exist anymore because I think a solution will come to us when ETH 2.0 is fully launched. So there is nothing to worry about. ETH 2.0 will only solve this problem

That's not true because what increases is the GAS not the Gas value in BTC. If it's the gas value to BTC that increase then people won't shouting about how high the gas fee is.
Moreover it's affected by the rise of BTC as well which makes the gas doubled the initial fee before defi craze comes out.

Though as of now it's already getting better and better. The ETH 2.0 sharding may really takes an effect this time to the fee required for transaction.
