Les assume a faulty connection or a loose one.Fluids running and floating

Question

Would you place this miner in the same place together with
other equipment and electricity

But nice to think of home miners again
Its sure the first and others will follow

nice first step!!!
1105  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: For sale 1TH/s Asic bitcoin miner 1.4BTC + shipping costs on: October 17, 2014, 09:35:10 AM
this  miner with current difficulty will need way to much time with this price to ROI
better try ebay
1106  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: how can mining still be profitable even for the big farms on: October 16, 2014, 01:54:44 PM
Since now technology is not advancing as fast as expected and currently we face the first lower difficulty change the machines get more greedy for electricity the difficulty may slow down for a while untill new asics come.So until then only free power saves all big farms
1107  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: GAW Miners on: October 16, 2014, 01:50:57 PM
Just wanted to share that problems I had with Gawminers solved and they refunded me the lost item and money.
have to be Honest they did what was right BUT after long long time and many emails telephones..
1108  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Home mining turned out to be short lived on: October 16, 2014, 01:42:59 PM
Eventually mining will become available to everyone. Right now it's a multimillion dollar race and there is little room for individuals in it.
Once everything (adoption rate/ price/ mining technology) becomes stable, individuals will once again start having access to reasonable mining gear.
Mining gear that will be pretty much break even in terms of ROI.

Romantic point of view but congratulations thinking like this.
1109  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS][EU]IBM Bladecenter E on: October 14, 2014, 10:28:25 AM
Not interested BUT

since its a very heavy item would help if you advertise shipping cost for EU countries, because its not an item that regular post would take so we are talking about shipping company with truck possibly a lifter.

Good luck with the sale

1111  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [∞ TH] solo.ckpool.org 0.5% fee anonymous solo bitcoin and free testnet mining! on: October 14, 2014, 06:54:26 AM
Althought worthless,  since the server is on its mining with its 2 CPUs and CPU miner.
In the first days using the pool I saw it was hashing but did not get a YAYs thats common with
cpu miner when in other pools.

So today it started also making some YAYs actually running for less than an hour and have already 3
when other days not even one.
How does this translated???

LOL+Hi Hi

Wishfull thinking 3 blocks in a row!!!

LOL+Hi Hi
LOL... no, you didn't find 3 blocks, you got 3 accepted shares.  ckpool uses variable difficulty that starts at 1024 and adjusts according to the hash rate of your miners.  Since you're CPU mining (dear lord in heaven what are you thinking???), it just happened to take that long to find a difficulty 1024 share.  Today you got lucky and found a share at least 1024 difficulty, so likely the pool has now adjusted the difficulty to match your abysmal hashing speed from the CPU.

Seriously... what are you thinking?  Do you just not like your server, or are you doing some kind of extended CPU burn in testing?  Nothing good can come of CPU mining BTC.  Of course, now that I've written this, that CPU will probably be the next block finder on the pool... Grin

Hi I know but have not noticed any problems with the server its just a file server that we store our data have backups daily and 5 disks inside it so will not hurt anything its an old IBM blade  with 2 CPU
I also know it will not find a  block but since its open we participate on the network support this pool.

Oh have to add I run a USB antminer also in this pool

So its the amazing power or 2 Ghs !!!
finding the next block its a matter of luck like playing the lotto
2Ghs makes 0,35 $ each month so it for fun only

I want to see the day a manufacturer decides to make miners in EU or US will sell lots more miners as they will be
more atractive to buyers...but guess have to wait until I get used to

1115  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: are s1's even worth running? on: October 09, 2014, 09:34:27 AM
The best way to run outdated or non profitable miners is to run them solo there is a pool from ckolivas
as well.
If you get lucky you are rewarded
I run there all my small scale have to say miners like USB
They are turned on when the computer is also on and close when I leave.

1117  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: I think the Bitcoin difficulty will go down around October 10, 2014 on: October 08, 2014, 09:37:35 AM
There always will be a company for the home miners...
i just dont understand is this the way that things are happening

first some company produces and deliver the miners building a name
then when the name is build they take preorders
then with the preorder money they mine with next generation or newer equipment
and theyforget customers cause they dont need them
after some time US marchals come into the company

Hope bitmain will not forget the customers that supported them
This product S4 had not been widely accepted as I see when S3/s1 was a success
Must be the odd numbers HI HI
