On the Internet, nobody knows you’re a dog. This has been extremely beneficial for the development of communities around the world, and crypto is perhaps one of the most remarkable examples.
But who doesn’t like to have a beer with people that share common interests? It’s part of our human nature!
So aside from being on Slack all day and night, we’ve organized a series of meetups for Ethereum & Aragon enthusiasts to get together to talk about exciting projects and have a few drinks!
We had our first meetup this Monday in the beautiful town of Zug and had the pleasure to present and have a relaxed discussion with some projects we’re huge fans of, AKASHA and Status.
The meetup was an enormous success! We even had a wait-list for attendance. If interested, Mihai from AKASHA recorded so those that couldn’t make it in person can watch it on our blog

BTC.TOP Pool Operator Jiang Zhuoer
BTC.TOP is a relatively new Chinese mining pool. Launched in late 2016, the pool currently controls some 5 percent of hash power on the Bitcoin network.
BTC.TOP is operated by Jiang Zhuoer, a former employee at China Mobile in Shanghai. Much like several other small mining pools that have appeared over the past six months, BTC.TOP has been signaling support for Bitcoin Unlimited.
In an interview with Cryptocoins News in March, Zhuoer was the first who explicitly said a 51% attack against the original Bitcoin blockchain, if it were to survive after Bitcoin Unlimited miners split off, is on the table.
“We have prepared $100 million USD to kill the small fork of CoreCoin, no matter what [proof-of-work] algorithm, sha256 or scrypt or X11 or any other GPU algorithm,” he said, of course referring to the continuation of the current Bitcoin protocol as “CoreCoin.”
The different hash algorithms mentioned by Zhuoer refer to a potential proof-of-work algorithm change Bitcoin users could deploy if the chain is attacked; a “nuclear” defense some Bitcoin Core developers have suggested may be proposed in such a scenario. (Whether this should still be considered “Bitcoin” or yet another spinoff altcoin is subject to different debate.)
“Show me your money,” Zhuoer added. “We very much welcome a CoreCoin change to [proof of stake].”
(If no proof-of-work algorithm succeeds in deterring the attack, a proof-of-stake consensus algorithm — where coin holders rather than miners vote on the longest chain — may be an alternative solution. But since this is unproven and perhaps insecure, this seems highly unlikely

According to Gavin Bitcoin Unlimited could be preparing for an attack anytime and of course, you don't need 51% of the hashrate to accomplish it.You only need to make the original chain unworkable

There is only a bug bounty at this moment, this has been a highly anticipated sale so should go off without a hitch

Remember the tx ID for the crowdsale will be given out 2 days before it starts to give you plenty of time to get it set up

Good to know about token sale plan just read that so I think you will achieve this milestone. Is there any bounty campaign there is 15% reserve for foundation you have any plan for that? There is a bug bounty only just now and Luis and Jorge can answer better about the foundation on Slack |

It's a thing Jorge is looking into at the moment the rising price of Ethereum, that's a question you need to ask him on Slack, its the best place to get up to the minute news through the day

where is the escrow ? minimum funds to run this project ? and campaign bounty?
To understand the project goal please read the whitepaper or chat on slack.It is being escrowed by an outside agency that's running the crowdsale.There is a bug bounty there are no other bounties apart from early investors get the token cheaper. |

If the project is not going right I would be happy with others, Muslim or not help make it possible by starting a project of our own.I am non-muslim and it would be good to have an interfaith team
The main thing is that bitcoin does not begin to help terrorism. If good Muslims are engaged in crypto currency, then this is even good. oh so the silk road was ok but Muslims are not, no wonder the world is in such a mess with the post's here |
