This thread was opened on June 17th, we're on July 2nd right now and we still don't have an exact price on this? Looks like by the time anything is finalized, this batch might sell out too.

We need news difficulty rises prices are droping its not a walk in the corner buying the correct miner whitout loossing money

1322  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: FS: 4U Antminer S1 8 blades case (possibly S3 as well, pending specs) on: July 02, 2014, 07:50:21 PM
W/gh?
$/gh?

Looks very power hungry

He's selling the enclosure...not the miners. It looks to be a new way to setup you Antminer S1 blades.

Although a little late in the game this could prove useful for UNDERVOLTED/UNDERCLOCKED units as the difficulty increase has put MANY S1 miners offline due to kWh rates.

Undervolt is the only solution for now if there is a Bitmain kit for later on we discuss again
1323  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S3 Discussion and Support Thread. on: July 01, 2014, 05:34:52 AM
See ebay item I dont know how Cheesy Cheesy but they have more pictures of the S3 than Bitmain itself

Bitmain,

Any chance of getting some pics of the business end of an S3?  I would like to see the connectors, etc. so I am ready to plug in when they start shipping.

You guys are just kidding about the July 10 (if not later) date right?  You are really planning to box em up and ship on the 5th or 6th RIGHT?? lol

ig

If you want to see some results even small mine scrypt with a multi pool like ghash or scryptguild and convert the LTC/doge/ etc to BTC
you will earn some coins.
1325  Other / Off-topic / Re: IF YOU HAD 1,000,000 DOLLARS WHAT WOULD YOU BUY??? on: June 27, 2014, 02:34:22 PM

1328  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Free unlimited electricity... where to start? on: June 27, 2014, 10:53:58 AM
if you dont want to waste much time and money best is to buy a few Antminer S1
they are cheep and trouble free.
Then when you make some money and understand how it works buy all the end of life
equipment on the bay and put them to work...

1333  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Mining on: June 26, 2014, 12:10:16 PM
I mine mostly BTC and have 4 gridseeds plus a fury coming for altcoins
cant actually say what altcoin I mine because the multipool on ghash changes altcoins

1335  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANN: BITMAIN has Tested Its 28nm Bitcoin Mining Chip BM1382 on: June 26, 2014, 12:02:26 PM
does anyone know how long it takes for shipments to arrive from china? and does anyone have problems with customs?

thanks!

No custom issues in the US.  Three days via UPS to the west coast.  Pretty fast.

Customs in EU/ Greece are bothering us if you escape with 3-4 proccess you are lucky
if not 15 days is the max I have experienced....asking purchase invoices and mean of payment???

1336  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Could Bitmain be driving the latest spike in hashing growth with Antminer S3s? on: June 26, 2014, 07:50:37 AM
knc AND blf will not deliver
SP has some weeks as said before
so Bitmain and Rk to follow you will notice a week or so difference
that the miners will be at post and then skyhigh difficulty

also to mention almost the same in LTC difficulty
one month that I have bought my gridseeds was at 130gh today is about 370gh
1337  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN] Spondoolies-Tech SP30 - Specs: 6TH/s + 0.46W/GH on: June 25, 2014, 10:32:14 AM

Mining should be for everyone small miner hobbyst or proffecional level.
Its the only way bitcoin will be spread to the world.

otherwise the five-seven big companies mine & keep the BtC and we just sit and wait...to be mined
and why to spend my money for something else already premined, like gold!!!

guess what will happen if miners will not be sold to ever Jane and Joe.
There are a lot lot of people that want to enter mining to see what it like and if it works
I thought also before some months ago.
I purchased a USB miner and checked the bitcoin calculator
A week later checked the mined BTC and said Ok it works for me, lets go to buy another bigger miner
and the story goes on until now
guess this way works for many others too.
