Paris Saint Germain managed top standing until international break and have 5 points behind Lens on second standing, won 5-0 from Auxerre made PSG stronger at the top standings until one month later after the World Cup event. Last match for PSG and waiting again after  World Cup watching with Ligue 1, its seems have opportunity watching the last games at Ligue 1 before World  Cup between Monaco vs Marseille begin 4 hours later.

Don't missing interested match because both Marseille and Monaco want to finish at fourth standing position place until international break out, I think Monaco as host have large chance to win from Marseille.

It's not too strange about that because sooner or later they will still be at the top and with this actually I quite appreciate the performance of teams other than PSG because they can still keep the margin not too far away even though it's only a matter of time actually for them for inconsistency.
Ligue 1 is still the same with the 2-5 position competition more interesting than looking at the top position.

There is a bit of a wild oddmaker situation going on this year for sure, both in ligue 1 and also in bundesliga as well. Some teams that used to be good are getting good odds every game and losing. Like take Liverpool for example from premier league, they are known to be a great team that’s true but they are not good at all this year, they are playing very very badly, and yet every single game they keep getting amazing odds, like 1.40 or so to win, when they lose.

Lyon had the same thing, they are not as good as oddmakers tell everyone they are, but they see the roster and not the performance and give odds like that. It's good, we could always gamble against them if they keep doing this.

This happens in every season, but maybe more often this season, it's hard to judge because you need good statistics to draw conclusions. I note that sometimes this is justified, such as with Bayern when 6 games in the Bundesliga there was only one victory, but at the same time they showed an excellent games against strong teams in the Champions League. And another thing is Liverpool which is unstable everywhere. Seems like nobody loves Len's performance of late they got to win today against Clermont who haven't won them last five game's in League 1. Shout out to Len's for impressive performance in the first half impressing the fans by having full dominance of the match but all of that came to short when they conceded first by allowing score from a long range. Which saw them conceding for a Very long time at home.

Powerful second half as they hustled to get those three points back for the supportive home fans who did from start to end. They stills sit second place to Paris Saint Germans who are above them with two points although with a game to play from League 1 giants. They should be very happy for themselves this season, the hardwork will pay off not so early but soon, they still need to be consistent.

Clermont is not doing well currently. They do not have even one win in the last five matches. So, they will have to improve very quickly. The next match is against LOSC. So, it is not going to be easy at all for them.

If you are Clermont right now and you want to start winning and end your losing streak, you would not want to face LOSC in your next match.

I honestly do not think that they will be able to win their next match. The opponent that they are facing, LOSC is in better form right now, compared to Claremont. And that is going to be a big factor.

This was a crazy match it just ended with marseille win after last minutes comeback it seems monaco defense couldn't hold and with the referee allowing them to play until the 98 minutes despite having only six minutes of added time is unfortunate, this was a balanced game so i think a draw should've been a more fair result.

Damn it, One minute after I typed my post Marseille's second goal happened and I'm not happy about it. 90 + 8 is something that is hard to forget for Monaco because apart from 3 points they lost 10 minutes before the end of time and hoping that there is 1 point in the last minute of extra time they also have to be willing to concede the ball again which makes them have no points in this match.
Marseille's initiation was great when they lost and I admit that even though in this case I have to lose my bet.

Monaco must have been devastated by their defeat today, even though the match was almost over but Monaco failed to maintain their advantage, and Marseille automatically stops in 4th place in the standings. the matches will continue until the world cup is over.

Marseille played more insistently when they fell behind and their struggle was not in vain in this case, especially with their condition that they were still taking advantage of their winning momentum, of course they didn't want to just give up.
It was quite an exciting game and I like unexpected results like this because until the 80th minute everything looked like Monaco would win.
With this result they are back to their usual place in the top 4.

Marseille really did it. After an incredible rivalry between Monaco and them, they managed to get another important win by 3-2.

They had only two goal attempts in the second half and both of them ended up with goals. Especially the winning goal came in like the last minute. It was a really tough job for them to make a comeback from 1-2 for sure. But they really need these wins to recover no matter what. They won 2 big games in 2 weeks. They are still six points away from the second team in the standings maybe but the season is long. As long as Marseille keep up a good form they are still my favourite for that spot.

It's expected of them, after all Auxerre are 17th placed, there is nothing they could do even tho they had a total of nine attempts at goal. I doubt tho that Lens or Rennes would be able to overtake PSG at the top seeing as they have remained unbeaten and won't want to lose form now. Instead I expect to see more of them when they get back from the world cup tournament.
