I understand that new York in general is not the best location to be doing business all because of its overregulated environment and remember that it can cost a lot of money starting a business here compared to other states...so in case of mining why would they be concentrating in NY when they can easily transfer to other more friendly locations? When your location seems to be discouraging your type of business then it is time to find new location somewhere...that is just a rational thing to do.

I think that if political donations for presidential candidates in Nigeria can be legal then maybe we should not judge this act as bribery. I am sure that Gaius Chibueze must have his own personal and political reasons for the act and maybe it can partly be because he is looking forward for Peter Obi to win the election and be able to influence him and his government somehow to maybe make cryptocurrency not illegal but strictly regulated in Nigeria. I see nothing wrong with that per se. Now, let's hope this candidate that he is supporting can really win the coming election so that his donation can really mean something for the crypto industry of this country.

In my own opinion, people behind this Hut 8 company must be having a good vision for the future of Bitcoin and that is why they are holding most of the BTC they mined already. More knowledgeable on the Bitcoin industry and the possible direction it is going, am sure we can be learning a thing or two from this company. And I think right now there is a real growth in terms of infrastructure and investments relative to cryptocurrency industry despite the ongoing lackluster performance of the market...all because they know this is just temporary and anytime soon there can be a sudden upward movement...just like a volcano waiting for its great eruption ever. This is all put more meaning to the term HODL. And with Bitcoin most of its holders will really make it as profitable.

I think that maybe not for now...in the next coming few years people will always remember the UST debacle which really affected many people and have shaken the faith and trust of numerous investors and holders most especially with algorithmic stablecoins. I am sure that soon there can be some creative people who can devise ways and means to avoid the historic collapse of UST but am sure that they may not be getting the support they can be looking for...as of now we are all doubting any other stablecoins in the same category. This can be a very sad story but there is nothing we can do about it...but to move on and start to rise from the ashes.

This is a good development generally speaking in the sense that something that is wasted can then be used for something valuable...which can mean a win-win for many parties involved. I am seeing a good trend of many people and organizations getting creative with the use of power relative to Bitcoin mining...and it is because even at today's rate in the market it can still be a very profitable venture. We should not always be listening to people who are against Bitcoin based on old facts and bad science because these people don't like the idea behind Bitcoin even if its mining will never be using any kind of power.

One thing is clear here...there is no point of doing business with a certain location that is very unfriendly to your type of business and this is very much true with New York as they have become restrictive with any type of industry deemed to be contributing to the climate change and even you have facts to prove your different point of view it would just be a big waste of time convincing them because they have already decided this kind of thing years ago and it is something not even the devil can change. So the question is: Can they not find any other states that will be so welcoming with the same opportunity? The answer is a big YES and that is they should start packing and leave NY anytime soon...or if anyone planning to do business with NY they should just forget it.

Here in my own country, not a lot of merchants are actively accepting cryptocurrency though there are now some but mostly are into luxury items and not everyday things we are usually consuming. In other words, people who are into Bitcoin here and even with alts are doing so as part of the speculative crowd. And I am not so sure if there can be some changes on this scenario in the next few years...especially if the supposed plan of the government to be taxing cryptos can be in place.

As for my own personal opinion, this is just another day of business in USDT though I am aware that there are some concerns of the company behind this stablecoin not very transparent enough which of course can be the basis of some speculative ideas as to its strength and longevity in light of what happened to UST. No wonder that regulators are now pushing for an established parameters where stablecoins can be able to play especially in the cryptocurrency marketplace most notably with trading. We are, of course, hoping that everything just speculation as I could not imagine what will happen to the whole crypto industry if Tether will collapse.
