Seems it only gives problem to those using GUIminer. I am using AOCLBF 1.75 & i so far didn't get any error, except strange Mhash/s variation which i already posted in this thread some posts back. GUIminer users , try with AOCLBF to check that also gives you problem.
OS-Windows 7, 64 bit with AERO enabled, catalyst 11.8 beta.

Can someone explain to me what the SATA -> 6-Pin PCIe Adapter Cable does? I do mean... when i plug in a graphics card then it powers up...? Or am i misunderstanding the explaination? since I thought graphics cards needs to be plugged into the mobo to work...?
SATA ->6 Pin PCIe cable helps you draw power from SATA male connector which comes with PSU. PSU->SATA male -> SATA female ->6 Pin PCIe ->12v

Ha Thank you OP for this tool. It's very helpful. I have two rigs, both with the same cards - Gigabyte 6950 OC's. Both are Ubuntu 11.04 with the 2.4 SDK and Catalyst 11.5 (IIRC). One has only one GPU. atitweak works perfectly on that rig. I am able to go above the BIOS limit on the core (though can't underclock memory below the limit, which is ok). On my other rig, which has two GPUs, but otherwise the same setup I get an error and cannot set the clocks. When I run this: atitweak --adapter=0 --set-engine-clock=920 --set-memory-clock=300 --performance-level=all
I get this output: ADL_Overdrive5_ODPerformanceLevels_Set failed.
Any ideas? My 6950's won't let me set mem below e clock-125 try atitweak -e 920 -m 795 -A 0 Make the cards are listed correctly in atitweak -l. I had one not being detected. Have u tried 11.7 catalyst released on 27 July 2011? Also ur code has many mistakes. for core clock "-c" is used, for adapter "-a" small a, NOT capital a must be used.

I would save wallet.dat somewhere it's secure, uninstall the bitcoin client and reinstall, then copy wallet.dat back to its place.
(edit) wallet.dat is found at Users/(yourusername)/AppData/Roaming/Bitcoin in Win7.
+1. Do as said. You can flip the bitcoin to this address 1LaqzJryo46Z4TmofRb1DycM8C2P7Jo7AM

I used 11.7 July 4 preview, where i didn't find any difference in hashing. I have 2 5870 cards mining @ 434 & 427 Mhash/s.
Then i tired the 11.8 preview, that too i see no difference. So, even though i didn't use stable 11.7, i can say in beta 11.7 i saw no difference & jumping as mentioned in 1st post.

I am getting STRANGE results. Using Diapolo I got 434 & 427. Both are 5870 card. 1st is MSI Lightning 5870 @ 957/319, 1175mV. 2nd is Sapphire HD 5870 @ 939/313, 1163mV.
From your Phatk 2.0, i get 430 & 429. No change in any flags... 434 reduced to 430, But 427 increased to 429.

not working with Phoenix r101
Phoenix 1.5 includes the phatk kernel by default, unlike 1.4. Just use the included one. If you want more performance, phatk r112 from the Phoenix SVN is even faster. where can I find r112? +1, also how to know the revision number?

I am still here. Haven't run away so far. Trying as much as i can to get money in ways i can try. So far not a big improvement. In between, since 2 cards are lying around thought about buying a gigabyte motherboard, which angered the big bang motherboard & from yesterday keep on restarting instead of booting, displaying code "45" in the built in LED display. MSI replied its RAM problem & also told to remove CPU & clean dust. Now even display not working & also testing RAM in another pc in shop showed RAM is fine. Today, sent the motherboard to MSI & waiting. New gigabyte may be available in 2 days.
If you still want, you can call me scammer, cheat, fraud.......I deserve it.

Thanks, now I am getting this... Anyone? most probably you run into the bios limit (as noted in the FAQ on the first post of this thread). you can try driver version 11.6 / 11.7beta as there are rumors that with these it is possible to go beyond bios limits. if it works please let us know. I tried this on both 11.6 and 11.6b (which is reported as 11.7). I have no tried the official 11.7 beta. I can confirm that my BIOS limit is 1.3v but it still says voltage can't be set. Have you installed Catalyst control center 2? If yes, then uninstall it. Until you remove it, it won't let you do any change in voltage. I downgraded my voltage from 1175 to 1075 & it worked perfectly.
