(Just looked into this "LiteCoin" thing today) Followed the instructions on pool-x for my i7-2600k, got 8.8 khash total for 4 cores. Just replaced the default files with your ones, now getting 10.5 khash, PER CORE, for a total of 42.0 khashWow How in the world are you getting 10.5 KH/s per core? 4 threads on i7 2600k can give 10.5 kh/s pro thread ?

I still think that all *coins so far have fucked up their PR by talking about "currency" instead of marketing BTC and others as a means of transferring funds - secure, fast and cheap. What I am trying to say is *coins are not cryprocurrencies, but more like "cryptotransfers" with out the greedy bankers. Keep presenting *coins as currency to general public and merchants and they will keep ignoring it.
Lucky that crypto's don't all charge any fees ... oh hang on You obviously have no idea what fees banks take from merchants for processing CC and DC payments. ... oh hang on... ignorance is bliss. I just checked a website to exchange 100 LRUSD to WU. They say i have to pay 10 LRUSD to the site for transaction & 30 LRUSD to WU, & I will receive 60 LRUSD in hand. For 100 LRUSD to receive from internet to hand is 40% fees. Bitcoin to Bitcoin/ alternate currencies transfer charge is 0.005 only

The problem is triggered by a feature in poclbm I suspect most of the users don't care at all - detecting if a real block is found if mining against a pool. The feature was introduced back in July 2011 and was fixed twice even before being released. Apparently, the fix was not good enough and with the last difficulty adjustment the problem showed up again.
I sincerely hope it is really fixed now. Latest github should be OK. I plan a windows binary release for today.
Can a pro show us noobs how to implement the fix? I'd be happy to throw a coin or two someones way for a quick tutorial on getting it back working correctly. You can see in BOLD, pull from git if you are Linux user, wait if you are windows user for binary release.

Is their any way to make OSD on & not minimize AOCLBF? like command line parameters which can be given to show OSD on. New versions not showing OSD which makes it useless, unless every time has to click & select OSD on/off
|
|
|
ya, i have to tell correctly even in GUI AOCLBF

Not only you, many i see saying same thing, including me.
When they first join pool, they find some blocks, but after that they never find any blocks. It's really strange to me. How can a new joined miner can able to find blocks when he is new, but not when he is old? or some one tricking us that new ones found blocks by saying you found blocks in statistics?
I found 3 blocks joining pool & with in a month, that's around last year march, after that i so far found only 2 blocks & i stopped mining in oct.

I don't know accurate values as i am using AOCLBF gui for phoenix.
My settings are vectors, HD5870, worksize 256, aggerrsion=12 BFI_INT. Actually if i increase memory speed above 400 my system crashes.
