I may code a python script sometime at the end of next week that calculates profitability with both litecoin and bitcoin and then hops between mining them based on that... is anyone interested in that?

LOL AWESOME
Was just contemplating that:

Coinotron pool have this feature.
Add worker & select Auto instead of BTC or LTC
762  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: July 27, 2012, 07:24:16 AM
That would only work if the attacker first announces his attack.
Couldn't you switch forks retroactively by placing a checkpoint on the fork you want? The blockchain database contains all blocks from all forks, right?
The block chain database contains only one(single) block chain not all blocks from all forks.

BitcoinEXpress only wants bitcoin to exist.
No other alternative coin to bitcoin.

Same like Microsoft want to be monopoly & kill Linux.
but here bitcoin in not centralized or run by one person.
764  Other / Archival / Re: deleted on: July 26, 2012, 09:07:58 AM
A forked chain by BCX is same like solidcoin chain which cant be seen by original litecoin client.
Their will be original chain & forked chain both running, the new client by coblee will take the original chain & those who running old client will take bcx chain.
After everyone upgrades to new client, bcx chain will become dead, unless some one keeps on running old client.

You can keep on running forked chain forever, but whatever coins it makes or transaction it does wont be accepted by original chain.

I hope i am saying correctly.

Bottom line is this people,

When I successfully 51% LTC, regardless if you reset it or not.

Confidence will be broken, LTC will be dead.

So I suggest you all start solo mining in vain so I can laugh that much harder.

~BCX~

Why should you let bitcoin to go alone, coz it also has the same weekness.
It will be better you can also attack bitcoin & kill it.
So, we don't even need this forum & we all who owning bitcoins & litecoins say that we all fooled by a ponzi scheme.

Dark knight
Code:
Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money.
They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned or negotiated with.
Some men just wanna watch the world burn.

They also forget one thing. The earth is never a flat one, but a circular one.
If one gives pain to other, then they will get the same or more.

EDIT: "i used win32, includes commits 94c94d6 and 1711b4e: http://www.mediafire.com/?18wth7mby8evcbb"

can anyone help me?
770  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ATTN Litecoin GPU Miners - Scrypt support for cgminer on: July 21, 2012, 08:40:35 PM
any one got more than 360 kh/s on 5870 on windows 7

Still Ddos attack going on?
I cant connect to site for the past 2 days
772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ATTN Litecoin GPU Miners - Scrypt support for cgminer on: July 21, 2012, 04:47:08 PM
I am getting 369 average on 5870 (only one card in system) with clock 850/1200 on Windows 7, 64 bit, aero enabled.

Code:
cgminer.exe --scrypt --worksize 256 --lookup-gap 2 --thread-concurrency 6144 -g 1 -I 16 --url
http://notroll.in:6332 --userpass xxx:xxxx

with accepted = 150+ & Rejected= 0
773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ATTN Litecoin GPU Miners - Scrypt support for cgminer on: July 21, 2012, 01:49:32 PM
Tried with Cgminer, i never used cgminer before, used this command line arguments & getting 346 MH/s
cgminer.exe --url http://notroll.in:6332 --userpass xxxx:xxx -I 9
It seems Cgminer reporting in MH/s while reaper in kH/s
Increased I to 12 & see same 345 Mh/s

you are trying to mine bitcoin on a litecoin pool lol

for ltc you need to put  --scrypt --lookup-gap 2 --thread-concurrency 8192 -g 4 -I 13
and edit the other settings

ooops..., thanks

Funny, anything above 6144 reduces hash rate, while anything below 6144 increases hash rate, but all r stales only, nothing is valid.

Always using aggression 16 only
776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ATTN Litecoin GPU Miners - Scrypt support for cgminer on: July 21, 2012, 01:06:27 PM

What were your settings?

litecoin.conf:
Code:
worksize 256
aggression 13
threads_per_gpu 5
cpu_mining_threads 0
sharethreads 18
lookup_gap 2
gpu_thread_concurrency 10240

reaper.conf:

Code:
kernel reaper.cl
save_binaries yes
enable_graceful_shutdown yes
long_polling yes

platform 1
device 0

mine litecoin

Using reaper my 5870(cypress) with 1GB in windows 7, 64 any gpu_thread_concurrency over 6144 , just reduces hash speed to ~20.
@ gpu_thread_concurrency 6144, it gives me 368kH/s

I dont know how others able to get 400+ on 5000 series with 12.6 driver.

LTC buffer size : 384MB shown in reaper seems controlling hash rate.
Increasing gpu_thread_concurrency , increases LTC buffer size
777  Economy / Auctions / Re: Liteco.in domain on: July 19, 2012, 06:58:40 AM
Its very easy to buy litecoin.in instead of liteco.in
778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: July 14, 2012, 02:13:54 PM
I am getting this error when try to run new litecoin client.
Re installing allows litecoin to load with out problems & after shutdown it shows the same error again & reinstalling is the only option.

EDIT: Windows 7, 64 bit OS

In most places, i see bitcoin logo, instead of litecoin.
