1821  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / How easy it is to KILL bitcoin. on: August 16, 2014, 10:32:53 AM
My interest in the internet is nothing more than testing my abilities as a penetration tester, with little or no knowledge of the victim. If you think you have thought of everything, I will create that which you never thought of.. just to prove it can be done.

I read how bitcoin is unstoppable.. wrong.

Everything required to intercept bitcoin payments is in place today, and almost worldwide. You can laugh now, but by the time this short post is finished you will realise the truth.. that bitcoin WILL fail, and not of it's own accord, but due to the fact that it is indeed a threat to any and all established currencies of the world, and hence a threat to those countries security.

Why better testers cant see this is beyond me.

First, create laws requiring interception of all traffic at the ISP level.

Second, lets give it a fictional name, like 'No Shitty Attacks' or NSA for short.

Place 'NSA Killbox' between ISP and the world. Switch to record mode.

This means A box between YOUR isp, and the rest of the world. Nothing you can do about this.

Linux users probably think they are cool and can bypass this.. no they cant. They think they can use TOR or some other ip spoofing method.. THIS is an illusion. Yeah it hides your ip from other end users, but YOUR isp has YOUR ip, period. Notice we are all given static ip's now? These are postcoded. Geo tagging is applied to ALL packets leaving YOUR pc at the ISP level, they can now decide where to send ALL packets using strict filtering rules.

When it's decided bitcoin is a threat to the security of any MAJOR country, they can force the isp to re-route p2p traffic to a dns dead end. At this point they can be clear and say, you want passed here, your paying for it.. This is how to tax bitcoin.

Or I could just look at the block chain for address's, write any address found there into my fresh wallet, and take all, using that dns redirect..

To all dodjy faucet owners.. lets see what your worth now that this is in print, it was implemented 4 years ago here where I live.. notice your new security? Made in Scotland.. go on, ask Richard.. B

Guys stop to spam my inbox i will not deal in any way even if your trust rating is 100+ the reason is on the hand i saw a topic where you can buy accounts even hero member so who can proof 100% it's not some account you bought and David186  please stop to bulshit my message box escrow take maybe 1% and sometimes is for free !
1. No one is going to waste a hero account for your .2 BTC. Hero accounts sell for more than 10x that.
2. You're better off trading with a trusted member who buys and sells BTC all day long, rather than through an escrow.
3. No one has a 100+ trust rating, as far as I know. Anyone with a 100+ trust rating or even a quarter of that would be a lot more trustworthy than your average escrow.
4. You're overpricing your bitcoin. As a result, you will only attract noobs and scammers. If you drop the price to market value you will likely get some bites from more established members.

I like no:4 Overpricing bitcoin? I think the idea would be to set the price if they are as good or better than gold. Totally agree with the noobs and scammers, but to drop the price in the hope of selling.. gold?

Hope you catch my 'drift'.. Smiley

Quote
The professor of a university challenged his students with this question. "Did God create everything that exists?" A student answered bravely, "Yes, he did".

The professor then asked, "If God created everything, then he created evil. Since evil exists (as noticed by our own actions), so God is evil. The student couldn't respond to that statement causing the professor to conclude that he had "proved" that "belief in God" was a fairy tale, and therefore worthless.

Another student raised his hand and asked the professor, "May I pose a question? " "Of course" answered the professor.

The young student stood up and asked : "Professor does Cold exists?"

The professor answered, "What kind of question is that? ...Of course the cold exists... haven't you ever been cold?"

The young student answered, "In fact sir, Cold does not exist. According to the laws of Physics, what we consider cold, in fact is the absence of heat. Anything is able to be studied as long as it transmits energy (heat). Absolute Zero is the total absence of heat, but cold does not exist. What we have done is create a term to describe how we feel if we don't have body heat or we are not hot."

"And, does Dark exist?", he continued. The professor answered "Of course". This time the student responded, "Again you're wrong, Sir. Darkness does not exist either. Darkness is in fact simply the absence of light. Light can be studied, darkness can not. Darkness cannot be broken down. A simple ray of light tears the darkness and illuminates the surface where the light beam finishes. Dark is a term that we humans have created to describe what happens when there's lack of light."

Finally, the student asked the professor, "Sir, does evil exist?" The professor replied, "Of course it exists, as I mentioned at the beginning, we see violations, crimes and violence anywhere in the world, and those things are evil."

The student responded, "Sir, Evil does not exist. Just as in the previous cases, Evil is a term which man has created to describe the result of the absence of God's presence in the hearts of man."

After this, the professor bowed down his head, and didn't answer back.

The young man's name was ALBERT EINSTEIN.

Thanks for this.
I heard about this story before but couldn't find it.
So, EINSTEIN was real genius, great scientist but still he believed in God.
Very interesting.

This story is fiction...

I concur.. based on this: Why is it anytime everyone 'quotes' a supposed 'great' figure of history, they quote freemasons?

History is written by the victors.. and re-written by the next..

Ouch.. So you believe God to be THAT light in the sky? What of the multitude of other stars, that's a shit load more nonsence than man could comprehend..

Remember WHEN the light was (apparently) created..

God, no disrespect auld big yin, but please explain to these readers of the creative thought that grew in the Abyss, and explain to them how you could possibly have concieved anything before even YOU saw the light?

Being an aquarian if there's one thing I learnt, it's that every thing I was ever taught has been changed, ideal's, lifestyle's, choice's, etc, etc, but in this age of change whatever you think is a safe bet, I would bet on the opposite being more likely.. speculate on this..
1826  Other / Off-topic / Re: Scientific proof that God exists? on: August 15, 2014, 04:33:18 PM
Haha, I like the albert einstein story.. but cold DOES exist in the fact that it is the lowest point where heat BEGINS to get warmer.. see heat and cold are the same, just as dark does not exist in the absence of itself, light.. they are the different ends of the same scale.. only when we ARE one will god prove to be true, but he CANNOT exist ijn any one, for we are too small..

Do you see any other life form goin to church?

I'd actually give both half.. which should suffice if your quick enough in your response times..
1829  Other / Off-topic / Re: Can I use processing power to turn a light blub on? on: August 15, 2014, 02:55:53 PM
I would loved to do this just for the fun even if I would have to link up multiple computers up to each other just to get the processing power enough to light it up. Is this possible or am I not understanding something?

If this is possible how would I go about doing this?

Yes, it is possible but very very uneconomic.

Computing power is not a form of energy, is a way to consume electric power transforming it in heat (which is a disordered form of energy).

A bulb is just another machine that transforms ordered energy (electric power) in disordered energy (light and heat). Not so different from your CPU.

You can get ordered energy back from disordered energy (with a thermal power plant) but only wasting most of it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Entropy

I know that it's not efficent I'm not looking to be powering it for a long time but just to know that it can be done and I think it would be a cool thing to do.

One way or another you will require the inverter.. and the shortest route to take without blowing anything is usb..
1830  Other / Off-topic / Re: Scientific proof that God exists? on: August 15, 2014, 02:48:30 PM
Interesting 'PROOF' that cannot be refuted.

Initiation.

A wanna be like, a brother.. but I dont have one.. I see all those folks with funny handshakes and say to myself.. I want.. one of those.. Just so I can ruin everyones lives in the process and have my bro back up my lies.. I wanna know to whom they are refering to, when they talk of the man wearing THAT ring, that has the wheels upon wheels on his finger..

How is it, we can face off to each other while having no fear of what the other may do?

Because we dont care?

How is it, certain people fear THAT which the aforementioned do not?

Because the aforementioned know not, whilst the initiated have SEEN him and thus FEAR with a fear greater than anything they have witnessed since they sold their soul.

Look into the star ruby or the star saphire if you really wanna know..

If this is possible how would I go about doing this?

Simple, make a usb connection to a 12 to 240 volt (I'm in scotland, check your volts) inverter, add light to 240 output.. simple.
1832  Other / Off-topic / Re: What would you do...if you could only save one? on: August 15, 2014, 01:59:36 PM
This question is adapted from The Book of Questions by Gregory Stock:

You, your closest friend, and someone you love are hiking together while on vacation. Your two companions stumble upon a nest of poisonous vipers and are bitten repeatedly. You know that neither will live without an immediate shot of anti-venom, yet there is only a single dose of anti-venom in your pocket. What do you do?

If it was smeone I love, sorry mate.. but since both have an allergy to the antivenom that would kill them I took it myself..

1834  Other / Off-topic / Re: Scientific proof that God exists? on: August 15, 2014, 01:36:46 PM
As I see it, anybody that believes adam and eve of the bible created man is a fool, for the simple fact that if we were to believe that man is only a few thousand years old.. yeah right..

The first rite's of initiation were carried out in the pyramid 64 THOUSAND years ago.. go figure..

Proof that god exists?

His or Her signature is everywhere,  this includes several miles into the continuation of prime numbers..

Hebrews dont seem to acknowledge the digit 0 (ZERO) which is kinda strange.. some dont wanna say the name of god.. or write it without an O as in G-D?

Athiests apparently believe in nothing.. For a while I was thought of as athiest until they realised I dont believe in that 'nothing' - I beleive in the CIRCLE, or more importantly, the science behind it..

In ore leonis verbumi inveni..

What more do you need?

Edit: If you'd like to see that GOD exists, read every book on the subject.. how many of those will tell you:
'KNOWING the law the PLANETS OBEY'

If we should fear this GOD, then we know why the planets also OBEY - OR ELSE!!

Another Edit: After proof reading this, it occured to me that hebrews cant count.. If hebrew's or whomever do not use 0, then in every 100 there are 10 missing digits.. oops.. lets try that again.. in every 1 there are 1 missing digits.. hmm.. so they cant possibly find use of the 216 digit word, for there are 25 0's missing..

And when in your 'dreams' you find yourself being chased, REMEMBER to curl into a ball.. for the hounds that guard the barrier protect the opposite of GOD, hence your fear.. that same fear you PRAY to GOD you wake up from..

We want to give you 3$ for free to your wallet just to apologize , we don't want you to be disappointed.
Pls give us your paypal/wallet if you accept the offer.

Well nobody loves clicking on popups, but understand we changed everything to let the faucet have a steady income and be alive forever.

Do you remember of fr33bitco.in? ... it's just died after a short life.
Most faucets don't know how to monetize enough to be able to pay the visitors.
We want to stay alive forever for you

Haha, I deleted all my online cash accounts at the turn of the century.. I have no use for the dollar..

Thanks for your caring thoughts, and your offer, If ya wanna stay alive forever?

1: Pay to peoples wallets, do not accept online wallets, which in turn double the time it takes to be able to use whatever.. if they ever do pay out before they die

2: Pay something that can be related to cash.. satochi just isnt there.. it's kinda like a half p or c.. is at least a bit of money.. for any work.. satochi cant even touch this fact..

3: Pay people for help to improve on what went before..?

Just a few suggestions..

If I knew where I'm supposed to place my btc addy without appearing to be a beggar..

I'd be richer than I am now just for my ideas..

I'd be happy collecting the my bet knowing lewis hamilton accepts brown envelopes after each fuck up..

Knowing I can collect rather than hit that adblocker nonsense..

1836  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick? on: August 15, 2014, 12:48:24 PM
The problem with bitcoin is you require a connection that could crash at the first decent surge of power..

The second problem with bitcoin is the people that dont want to part with any (The MAJORITY of holders..) thinking it is worth more than something that has lasted as long as it took to make.. nah..

To think the internet will last beyond the last remaining tree, oil, gas, whatever you power your toys with is insane.. I highly doubt the internet will be here in any 'useable' form in the next 100 years..

Surely the human race is creative enough to find a new source of power when, has you say, there won't be any remaining trees and oil (which shouldn't happen before all of us here will be dead anyways..). I mean, a small solar panel is enough to power the equipment required for a user to access the internet.

Totally agree.. but after big brothers offensive against mankind, aswell as every other life form, that end is coming sooner than the last btc will be mined, if not in our lifetime, in our kids for sure..
1837  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Step-by Step to start Bitcoin Mining on: August 15, 2014, 12:38:05 PM
There are literally hundreds of ways to mine and no one post can cover all of that.  To keep it simple:

-Buy Miner
-Plug it into computer/laptop/Pi or configure it through web acess
-Pick some pools to mine on and make accounts
-Mine using CGMiner or BFGMiner
-Spend BTC and be happy!

Here's a more detailed guide for many ASIC models:

@decksperiment
i am a bit okay with your reply. but i dont get what you mean by asic models and where can i buy a miner and how much. your quick reply will be appreciated. thanks

Just type asic miner in google, take your pick, the only reason I have yet to buy one is the same reason I come across quite stern sometimes, because despite all the information out there, I have yet to see a reputable dealer that will just send upon payment, unused brand new hardware, on time. I am not willing to risk 500 quid by sending it to someone who has probably used it to con thousands out of their btc.. The websites relating to such hardware are most dubious at best in my opinion..

I myself asked here where to get a couple, and got NO answer I could rely on, telling me knowone actually knows, or is holding back just like they would with their btc..

1838  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Step-by Step to start Bitcoin Mining on: August 15, 2014, 12:32:02 PM
Buy a miner if your talking that kinda money mate, takes the load of your computer

what do you mean by buy a miner and how does it work, electricity is okay here and i will like to go into full minning. im waiting for your quick reply. i also want to know how to mine with hardware instead of doing it myself. thanks mate

Well, I have 0 experience in mining hardware, but that is an incorrect statement..(yes I contradict myself often lol..) due to having mined continually since the first release of bitcoin using nothing more than my spare quad core and a 8600gt grafix card..

I read a lot of how electricity is the prime concern, which to me does'nt make much sense, since whilst it's not cost effective at the time, is actually worth it if btc does go through the roof in terms of how much CASH you can exchange them for.. if this price continues to rise, (as will leccy..)..

How many people considered that this shows us we can mine btc for free with NO electric costs?

How? Well, their is a disclosure fee for this kind of mining, or if someone wants to give me a job, I'll show them how to mine with NO cost.. (excluding my wages..) I am an electronics engineer to trade, and know full well how to create a self perpetuating power supply, that will last longer than the life of a human..

As for mining with hardware, buy, plug n play from what I understand.. yeah, you'll probably need to set up ip and l/p and/or wallet address, peice of piss..

start with gpuminer or such, and learn how it runs on YOUR computer, then when you have grasped the basics, get the miners..

Gold is easilly devided, a pair of snips and all that lovely jewelery becomes nothing more than what it was, all sentimentality out the window.. but it retains a value that is usable no-matter how you try to destroy it.. yes it can be stolen, collected, mined, minted, and always retains a value slightly higher than it was the period of time before..

Look at ukraine right now.. as this virus spreads and the internet is removed from each country during such times, you think your btc are safe?

Hahaha..

My explanation of your stupidity is just above mine.. I never used 1,2,3, to make an example.. I used how long maths has existed.. since before any life on THIS planet.. YOu are to dumb to know that before your understanding of maths, space was devided by time. And for eternal thought to exist (the creative force) - Time must exist, denoting MATHS, go learn to count.. yeah we all see different, but to claim man made maths is as stupid as to say women didnt..
