Pakistan's current results are eerily similar to what they had in 1992.

Pakistan won the world cup in 1992 and Imran Khan was the captain. Imran Khan is now the incumbent Prime minister of Pakistan.
Their two remaining matches are against Afghanistan and Bangladesh and as per my prediction, they are the favorites to win both the matches. In that case they may end up with 11 points from 7 matches. But the problem is that their net run rate is extremely low. So in case any of the matches of the other teams get washed out, they will be at a disadvantage. I don't think in Pak vs Ban, Pakistan should be the favorite. Bangladesh, at the moment, doing great and having the best performance of their entire history. Their batting line up is huhe strong. |

It was 48 for 4. Too low and very high risk. However it's Pakistan team very unpredictable, you may see they lost 5 wickets in 30 runs after 15 overs :-P Since the target is too low, I guess Pakistan will play slower and will not score more than 48 runs. However, it's risky, Fakhar Zaman play a bit faster which can lead Pak to a good score. Edit- I thought it was 10 overs. Chance is Pakistan will easily have 60 runs. |
