1481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: July 30, 2019, 06:37:16 AM
I couldn't fully agree with you. Bangladesh has 5 players who played even World cup 2007. Shakib, Mash, Mahmudullah are playing in the Bangladesh team for 10+ years. The same goes for Mushi and Tamim. They are all senior players who performing well for the last few years. I don't think they are inexperienced but the way they are showing performance in the last few matches looks they are new to the cricket world. I am very disappointed to see the results of the last few matches. Hopefully, soon they will come back strongly.
True, the five person you mentioned had played the 2007 world cup, but Tamim and Mash, both are out of form. Mash bowling is not a good one, Tamim is in off form for a long time.
On Srilanka series, Shakib isn't playing as well.

Writing a post on another thread, thinking of having a data on active profile.
An extension/script which can show the number of active users within the last 24 hours along with the rank.
For ex:
Total Active Users within last 24 hours- 2500
Legendary- XXX
Hero- XXX
Sr- XXX
Full- XXX

1483  Other / Meta / Re: Truth about bitcointalk users 2.0 on: July 30, 2019, 06:23:31 AM
    165,148
    Active Profiles
It would be interesting to filter with one more entity. Out of those 165,148 how much users are not posting any social media report? Anyway to filter it out? That would find out the actual number of people joining here.[/list]
1484  Other / Meta / Re: How to delete flag added without any proofs? on: July 30, 2019, 06:13:29 AM
The flag will only get activated if it gets supported by a DT member. If a random user creates a flag and no DT user supports it (like in this case), then it doesn't mean anything. The flag has no effect in your account, so just ignore it.
You might be using custom trust list, in my case, with default trust, Bitcoin_Arena seems to be supporting the flag, he is a DT member according to Default Trust.
How much DT support needs for a flag?
1485  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin legal and illegal countries on: July 30, 2019, 04:04:06 AM
In my local, bitcoin is illegal just because of one issue, at least all the responsible people say, "Bitcoin will ease the money laundering."
Our political leaders to Govt job holders, all are corrupted. Drugs are being dealt by political leader.
    Then what's wrong with bitcoin?
1486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ✅[ANN] DeepOnion ONION New Private Currency ✅ Own ONION Now & Discover Privacy ✅ on: July 28, 2019, 10:24:15 AM
yeah, so hard to trust exchanges even the biggest ones after what happened to Cryptopia. Good thing I sold most of my mini coins and transferred all my ONION to my desktop wallet before that exchange went down. It's always best to have your money in your own pocket.
You must not trust any exchange, web wallet with your funds, those can EXIT scam or can be hacked as well. I always prefer having an offline wallet like a paper wallet.

Is there any plan of re-organizing VoteCentral's reward? I think it's too low for this moment. If the prize was high, more people would join.
1487  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: July 28, 2019, 10:12:58 AM
Another poor performance from Tamim as well as the whole team, 52/3. How this batting line up has turned into such poor, lol. Soumya as well as not have a good form for a long time. I think change is now must. I am not sure what's the current performance of Anamul Haque, this guy wasn't able to play after going off for an injury. Bangladesh team management isn't doing a proper job, to be honest.
1488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: July 28, 2019, 08:26:56 AM
You guys are evading my point. He will not play in other position than OPENING.
Check howstat, in ODI, TEST, T20- he had played one match other than OPENING position, in 5th in a test match. This is stupid. I too think changing position would bring great result.
1489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: July 28, 2019, 06:56:18 AM
Countries like Ireland, Zimbabwe can't olay much test cricket, not even ODI. High rank team has more matches despite low teams. This is one of the reason, a low team can't gain enough experience. I don't think it will be easy for them to fight against a bigger team who play 5-6 times or more than lower. They have better chance to.win against a lower team.
They can invite top ranked team, although most team will not play. I guess that's not good of ICC, they must allow each teams to play at least 5-10 tests in a year, it would help them improve.

You mean to say that ICC should the schedule tournaments for the teams like Ireland and Zimbabwe to play 5 or more tests per year with the main teams like Australia, India , Pakistan etc.  This will be extremely infeasible as they will not be able to generate any revenue from them. Also  from the viewers point of view no one will like to watch these one sided test matches.
While you are correct that from those matches, ICC will not be able to generate revenue, in my opinion, ICC must have allow kind of subsidies for the globalization of cricket. In that case, low performed team would have better performance.
1490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: July 28, 2019, 05:36:37 AM
Singapore won by 82 runs, that's massive. They beat Nepal with such a big margin. Wasn't Nepal playing good cricket?  As far as I can remember they had good balanced team among the new team.
1491  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 744,066 Bitcoin addresses now own at least 1 BTC on: July 28, 2019, 05:10:25 AM
The 'Bitcoinaire' club continues to grow

    https://twitter.com/shakepay/status/1153343040288952322

i don't like to read too much into these metrics---same with total number of addresses or total number of blockchain.info wallets. these stats can be easily gamed. we can't actually tell how many "people" control those addresses. if one bitcoin whale were so inclined, he could make himself look like many thousands of "bitcoinaires". just sayin!
He never said it's people. Title says 744060 addresses. OP, do you own one address from the list?
People who mined/bought bitcoin at the very beginning moment are now holding a huge amount. It would better to have a rich list.
Edit- Here's the rich list- https://bitinfocharts.com/top-100-richest-bitcoin-addresses.html
1492  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi IP address on: July 28, 2019, 04:22:23 AM
With TOR browser, users IP address is encrypted, thus, it is impossible to trace the entry node and exit node. It's certain that he never used his real IP address other than TOR. Thereof, releasing his IP will not have much information towards revealing his identity.
1493  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: July 27, 2019, 03:38:44 PM
    ~snip~

Yeah alternative should be there or maybe moving down the order of batsman might also help as some players change their playing style when in pressure. Tamim is a good player but he has to show the results which the management is hoping from him to show following his selection.

They can easily ask him to come at 4th or 5th position. It's much easier now since he is captain. In one or two match he himself can experiment changing his batting order. Tamim is a very good player and I believe he plays for his country and team.
I missed that part, earlier I made a reply to Hanabue, I think there's only one player who never played other than OPENING position despite his worst form. Does this make any sense? He has played 202 ODI, and in all of this match, he played in OPENING position. I have no problem with him playing despite his off form, but at least changing position might give the team better opportunity.
I'm 99% sure he did the same in other format, can't remember though.

Do you know Tamim never played in other position than opening? That's a stupidity. If someone performs bad in a position, he must be placed in other position

“...I have visited this cafe 2 times and asked to pay with Bitcoin but he wasn't agreed.”

The wall art is really well done! Did it seem like it was a plastic cut design or wood ..3D printed and assembled or ?
All of the wall art made by wood. All of the wall art are designed from various cryptographic.

It is possible for someone to pay for coffee using Bitcoin is quite an ordinary thing, but I am sure that such trifles should not be paid using Bitcoin until the cost of a transaction on the Bitcoin network is even cheaper.
With Lightning Network, fees will drop significantly, however, it's still not that much although fees are same way volatile as the price of bitcoin.
1495  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: July 27, 2019, 03:03:17 PM
Talking about Tamim, that reference from Pffrt does not look good. Tamim is a good player as far as I know but that does not mean he become the burden of the team. In the world cup and in the last match he seems a burden for his team.
I can't deny that Tamim is a good batsman. He had his good times as well, and bad as well. Even if he had off form, he wasn't dropped from the team, even though we had good batsman who can replace him nicely. You think I'm talking shit because he has not performed well in the world cup? Man, other than some of his loyal fan (die hard, lol), to everyone else he is burden. We need a good performance in current, if someone is taken because of his previous performance, it would be fool. In case of Tamim, playing such worst innings at row, he wasn't dropped. You can't imagine what would be in case of other batsmans.

I'm not sure what region you are from, in my local, it would be worst to be honest.
You can share your crypto work as freelance job since they don't know about crypto. If I were you, I would do that.
By the way, it is not something you should only depend on (if you don't do anything else), no matter how much you earn now but you need to have something fix, that might be a job or a business. This is my personal opinion. I am fed up with my job though.

4 innings in a single day. These matches were like a mix of ODI and T20s. Crazy!
I wasn't totally aware of it. How come they finished 4 innings within a single day? That's not a test cricket, lol. Thank you, anyway.
1498  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: July 27, 2019, 11:36:39 AM
They need more bowlers like Mustafizur Rahman, Sarkar and Shakib in order to improve their bowling lineup.
Sarkar isn't a regular bowler  Cheesy
However, he has done pretty much better than regular bowler since the world cup. Each time we needed a wicket, he has done that part. I can't see a bowler like Syed Rasel in BD team for a long time. We are really lack of good bowlers.
1499  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: July 27, 2019, 07:52:15 AM
England has benefit of playing in home ground but their batting will not be much good in test format. Australia has great team. Nothing is predictable, by the way. I think Australia will win this time.
1500  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: July 27, 2019, 07:46:36 AM
Bangladesh has to make some batting changes starting with Tamim. His whole performance in World cup was flop show and now he is continuing his worst form in ODI as well. Every team expects a good start from their opening batsman and they are not making up to the expectations is what I think.
I agree. Heard that Tamim had some kind of references though I am not sure how credible the rumors are in this regard. Tamim really needs to step up his game if he wishes to continues playing for his side currently.
It's not rumor, mate. It's the truth. He is backed by his uncle. A good begining can change the whole picture of a match.
Do you know Tamim never played in other position than opening? That's a stupidity. If someone performs bad in a position, he must be placed in other position but it's his passion/fashion that he will not play other than opening position. Board can't do anything because his uncle Akram Khan is the chief selector of BCB.

    Quote
Bangladesh clearly missed Shakib in this match which goes to show how dependent they have become on him which isn't a good thing. Drastic changes are required.
Drastic changes isn't possible, we don't have much good players at the moment other the current team. Bowling options can be changed though. Missed Shakib.
