Theymos needs to decentralize the merit source.   Right now it's used as a political tool to reward people he likes.

How hard would it be to distribute merits based on activity, or trust, or some other set of factors?   Theymos used to be creative.  Sad

In any case, we would never divulge any information about our customers or agencies that assist us.

Too bad, you could have easily proven you were not just sending a few pennies (or nothing at all!) to yourself.  Sad

Once you learn the blockchain, you'll understand how a proper transaction cannot be related to a customer or agency.

Have you asked Theymos?  Many people here entrusted him with donations to charities, and this is a good one.

$$ Thank you. Very generous. Received! $$
 Grin Smiley Cheesy Kiss

Let me know if you need more security testing done. Good Luck.

What was the transaction ID?   One newbie paying another is a good way to build a reputation, but not if it's with yourself.

Hello! Kazakhstan.

Where in Kazakhstan are you located?   You're going to attract local investors, so you need to give info on locality.  Smiley

We are working with auditors that have quite sophisticated software to calculate carbon credit amount for the next 40 years.

Great - finally something we can verify.   What is the name of the auditing firm?

The tree starts to offset CO2 as it starts to grow

This is not true.  Ignorance of this simple fact makes me question your education.   How much do you know about trees?

Trees produce CO2 as they grow, just like any other living creature.  Once they are grown, photosynthesis starts to take in more CO2 than produced.    Until that point, around twenty years for most trees being planted, the tree requires more oxygen to grow than the leaves take out of the atmosphere.

The majority of the population seems to have similar knowledge, which is scary.   Trees planted in the 1900's are helping; anything planted today will just hasten climate change.

The purpose of the post was more to understand the demand from bitcoin community and should we implement it as payment method.

??   You chose to use a blockchain - your entire audience is in this community.

This forum is not a criminal haven. It is just a forum.

That is a false statement.   You only need to look at Theymos.   He paid OGNasty after the community caught OG stealing donated coins.   He has treated all donated coins as his own, setting up his buddies for life.   He ordered myself and others to remove negative trust against OG.

I thought this forum was under investigation over a year ago, but it turned out to be a stall tactic.   Even Federal agents can be bribed if you have a billion dollars.  Smiley

Not gonna lie, I'm getting bored of this forum.

Censorship (mixers), prominent members (or as I thought) turning out to be dickheads, can't see myself reading anything other than my local board (so much unnatural and boring content elsewhere). At one point I can see myself just leaving.

That would be sad, but understandable.   You are one of the people I have had on my trust list since the start.  (Hope I'm not one of those dickheads lol)

Would you consider selling your website if you were to leave?  It's invaluable to forum users.

How will this token/stablecoin make money?  There are already charities that do this for free.  What good does a blockchain add - why would one need to prove that a certain tree was planted in a certain way?

Climate change will not help this project, as a tree does not become carbon neutral/negative for twenty years.   Embarrassed

If the scammer is big or popular, the administrators might handle it or they will give some information if the authority request to them.

No, they will not.

Try and have any agency request information on the approx 6,000 BTC that OGNasty stole from the community.  Theymos has said he will only give out that information with a court order.   And even then, you'll need to contact witness sites (ninja, loyce) to verify what he releases.

6,000 btc is big, and OGNasty was a popular escrow when he scammed.

When I launched https://bpip.org, there were over 300,000 active members. Now there are 57,000.  That prob has a lot to do with it.
93  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is crypto mixer service still profitable? on: April 15, 2024, 07:41:23 PM
Thanks for your advice, at first I just wanted to make this as a fun project, but after thinking about it the risk seemed like it wasn't worth it

Mixers are becoming useless anyway.  You don't just need to show your coins were not involved in a scam, soon you will need to prove how you earned them.   The IRS believes that's the best way to catch stolen bitcoin, or so I'm told.

I'm curious about the reason you are posting this here

I've spent quite a few beers' worth of time in this thread. I think it's your turn to buy a round now :>

Come to Edmonton.  Smiley

Alcohol and crypto are not compatible.

Hi! I have electricity at a rate of $0.02. I am looking for partners to open a mining farm and a mining hotel. Everything is legal and official.
I will answer any questions. This is not a SCAM!
It is possible to consider various types of cooperation.

What city/country are you located in?

I haven't promoted SURFER on my profile yet, but in a few days, I'll be advertising it to my people. However, I'd like to first secure a few buys through my own channels to feel more confident about it.

It's best if you sell first to your family and friends - that way you are much more motivated to succeed.  If you scammed a few strangers, why would you care what they thought of you?
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to make presale successfull ? on: April 12, 2024, 05:16:43 PM
Don't sell anything until you have something to sell.

Do you plan to develop your technology with the revenue?

Exactly, I want to create a system where SURFER will generate profits from multiple sources:

Real lotteries: Users will pay a small amount to purchase tickets, and the winner will be drawn during a live stream.
Tax fees: I will introduce a 2% fee for buying and selling, with the funds going towards buying back and burning tokens from the decentralized exchange to create a real deflationary process.
Dapp features: Apart from lotteries, I plan to implement functions that will measure and display hype around specific projects (initially focusing on new projects). These tools will be useful for developers and users within their respective communities. Initially, these features will be free, but as they expand, there may be small subscription fees and fees for teams to list projects. However, these fees will be reasonable and worthwhile for developers.
Once the community is well-established, I will create an additional token that will function as a typical meme coin with a fixed tokenomics designed to cause the price to skyrocket upon launch, ultimately leading to listing on tier 1 exchanges.

Ok.  Understand that is an extremely risky investment.  If you don't know what you are doing, or if you aren't 100% honest, the return on investment is 0.  There is usually no middle - it's all or nothing.

Are you planning to release more details on the development, like your education?
