201  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: ANN : Embark on the Blockchain Evolution with Savitri: Opportunities as Ambassad on: March 20, 2024, 05:29:46 AM

In two sentences, it is not simple to share everything, but I will try to do my best:

In the consensus mechanism, nodes share transactions with a random peer-to-peer group, where each transaction and its data are evaluated and scored by the verifying nodes based on various parameters like quality and work quantity. The node with the highest score finalizes and forwards the block to master nodes, receiving 80% of the transaction fees, with the remainder distributed among the participants. Every winner node will share two kinds of blocks: one for the master node with all transactions and data, and the second with the receipt about the evaluation of transactions and the node. This approach ensures network integrity and encourages honest participation.

Interesting.   How does the chain calculate quality?

I don’t dislike theymos... I just know theymos is not a man of his word and I don’t really respect that.

Remind anyone of how Donald Trump turned on Rudy G after all his help?    See my sig if you are confused; OG is confused a lot recently Sad

I cannot edit out the [/list] at the end of my post.   No matter what I save, it adds it back.

Proof of Unity (PoU) Consensus Mechanism: At the heart of Savitri lies our revolutionary consensus model, Proof of Unity. Designed to address the pressing issues of scalability, security, and environmental impact, PoU is a collaborative consensus mechanism that ensures transactions are processed efficiently, securely, and in an eco-friendly manner. This innovative approach promises to enhance the user experience by providing faster transaction times and reducing costs, all while maintaining a commitment to decentralization and sustainability.

New algorithms are always thrilling!   Can you describe in a sentence or two how it works?
207  Economy / Lending / Re: In need of a loan (BTC or other crypto) on: March 19, 2024, 09:58:49 PM
he just left his telegram name and hopes somebody would message him.  Roll Eyes

Someone will no doubt message him, and offer him a loan after he "proves" he can pay it back by sending the loaner a small fee.
    208  Economy / Lending / Re: personal loan 500-1000 € on: March 19, 2024, 09:55:18 PM
I have done some trades on this forum so i know i'm 100 % trustworthy

Then you can loan yourself the money.  Smiley

Shit coins are equivalent to gambling and gambling is for losers. One can invest few bucks in shitcoins for fun but real focus and most of your capital should be going to Bitcoin alone. 1 bitcoin is difficult.

Investing in bitcoin is also gambling.
211  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How do I tell people about my crypto escrow services/server? on: March 14, 2024, 02:27:59 AM
Here's my question: how do I tell people about my escrow service? How do I get people to do the first "leap of trust" that will lead them to know my service is legit?

Talk to your family and friends about it.  If they are not into bitcoin, ask them to talk to their friends about it.  If you offer a good service, they will start using it.  Smiley

this litecoin wallet belongs to scammers. there are 76000 lite coins here. 7.45 lite coins are mine. is there anyone who can hack this wallet? money is not a bad deed because all the money in there belongs to the people who have been harmed. i just want my right. thanks for your attention .LKxNtynH2GxLc2oLxUGL6ryckK8JMdP5BR

If there was anyone who could hack your wallet, they would keep the coins.  Do NOT respond to anyone who offers to hack it for you for an upfront fee.

I expect the majority of Bitcoin users not to care about the NBA.

I looked into this absolute arrogant statement from LoyceV!   Wink

Bitcoin is gambling.  Basketball is gambling.  You think they would have a common base.
There are 220M bitcoin users worldwide, 20M in North America.  There are 400M NBA fans, mostly in North America.
I then looked for a VENN diagram that could visually describe the ratio.  Realizing I was spending to much time on this, I decided to just do a quick estimation.

LoyceV's expectation is correct!  yay!  Now if this was about Soccer, with 3,500M fans world wide, it might be different.
214  Other / Meta / Re: *Restarted* Post history review offer on: March 13, 2024, 09:26:14 PM
The problem is that there's no way I'm going to be able to unload anywhere near my monthly allocation of sMerits just by meriting posts I come across

The merit system doesn't seem to be able to automatically throttle; when I left as a merit source I had over 1,000 smerit.  Theymos said to give more merit to an individual post rather than merit posts not worthy.

Merit has now become a commodity; I am going to be reviewing negative trust on profiles in the past regarding this.
215  Economy / Reputation / Re: Standing Strong Against Unjust Attacks: A Call for Community Support on: March 13, 2024, 09:17:47 PM
Currently, we went private with our community, collaborating with players who comprehend and embrace the concept without any complaints.

You should change your tagline: Honesty is the best policy.   Taking away the ability for your community to discuss your concept publically is not honest.    (Look at r/bitcoin for example) Smiley
    216  Economy / Reputation / Re: TecShare - Farewell my friend. on: March 12, 2024, 08:33:24 PM
Yet Theymos found it "neutral" enough to ban him from all DT activities against his will.  :/
That's the first time I hear about this. Isn't he off DT2 because he has 3 inclusions and 9 exclusions from DT1?

No, TecShare was the first person Theymos banned from DT1.    Hence his tagline ""First Exclusion Ever".

Have you created the database already?   If so, your username/password is probably wrong.
218  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump is senile (and Biden is not) on: March 12, 2024, 02:27:40 AM
(though, I will admit Trump looks younger because that fake hair he uses and the artificial tan)

I bet you by the election he will look twenty years older.  How much stress can a person possibly handle?

I think Nikki could have beaten Joe, but now we'll never know.  :/
    219  Other / Meta / Re: Gangs of BitcoinTalk :) on: March 11, 2024, 10:25:03 PM
Can't be part of the Thick-skinned gang and be a crybaby whenever you get called out in posts or whatever lol.
Maybe you should be first learn how to quote a big post when it is a big one !

I don't think anybody reads those long walls of quotes/replies.  Kudos to those that can express themselves succinctly.
220  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Create a player list of rights on: March 11, 2024, 10:22:21 PM
Of course, the final decision is always on the side of these gambling sites.

No no no no no.  Sad   My point was this is a player initiative.   No for-profit company will give you anything - you have to fight for it.
