641  Economy / Gambling / Re: Directbet tennis hack on: July 25, 2015, 10:10:23 AM

Right, I think the bet will stay in 'Pending' form until it is decided whether the game will continue or not and if it doesn't the bet will be rejected.

Well from my experience they decide really fast. They will never hold it on pending for a long time and would rather just refund it for the time being. However sometimes I even feel like if the retiring player is the one I bet on , then it gets accepted even if he retired before my bet even reached.
642  Economy / Gambling / Re: Common Gambling Terms (Casino , Roulettes , Sports Betting etc. ) on: July 25, 2015, 12:26:04 AM
Definitely a nice extensive list. You might also want to add terms related to poker like the flop/turn/river   .
643  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack tournament on: July 24, 2015, 11:51:47 PM
Probably the reason it doesn't exist is the efforts developers would have to put in to develope a separate software for it. Most of the sites right now use existing software clients with only some changes.

But I feel they definitely should add it to the sites as like pokertournies they can take 10% of the buy in amount just as rake , so it would also generate a lot more earning to the casinos.
644  Economy / Gambling / Re: Directbet tennis hack on: July 24, 2015, 11:46:38 PM
So I just lost a bet that I placed "live" after a tennis match has started.  It appears that the player I bet on retired after I placed the bet and then the bet counts as a loss.  The rules say if one set is completed then the bets will stand.  I bet this match in the second set and the player retired in the third set.

Other online betting sites I usually play at say if you bet live tennis then the match must complete, without retirements.  However, at directbet, you can apparently wait until you see a player hurt in the second or third set and then bet the other guy, and you'll win.  Seems like a weird rule setup, but hopefully someone can take advantage of it.
Considering you are betting live wouldn't the bet not even be accepted if you bet after seeing the player retire ? From my previous experience bets take time to show up and be accepted on their site and they are really fast with changing the odds or making it not available.
645  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Send Missed Calls PHP Script on: July 24, 2015, 12:18:40 AM
Hello, I'm new here and new to the bitcoin world. I am a php developer, I create a script with that can send missed calls to all mobiles and home networks all over the world. If you want a demo test please add my skype: andi.blandi

You can get the script from here: http://satoshibox.com/55b16d7c12fb6dc51d8b4639

Pretty expensive being just a missed call script. 0.1 BTC is a pretty high price for this specially when its only a missed call and will likely bear zero cost to you .

The price could change based on the script but ultimately thats the feature that the end user will be getting.
646  Economy / Gambling / Re: VietBet.eu - Sportsbook, Casino, Racebook, & Poker Room *** Bitcoin Accepted *** on: July 24, 2015, 12:14:21 AM
Why does your poker site takes me to other domain?
I tried the link just now. Takes me to vietbet only. Make sure you are typing in .eu at the end and not some other link.

Surprised to hear that they have such a high Withdrawal or deposit limit. The people who play low stakes would definitely not prefer such high limits.

Can you give an example of a tweet you have done this with ?

And there is nothing like the front page of twitter.
650  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I will sell a significant part of my Bitcoin hodlings at price ... on: July 23, 2015, 11:09:08 PM

At what price levels will Bitcoin hodlers sell a significant part of their coins?

I honestly strongly believe in this technology at the moment so much, that I wouldn't sell any of my Bitcoins even if we hit 10,000. That is how I voted!
If you won't sell your bitcoin at any price below 10,000 then you will probably not even buy anything with it as payment processors like coinbase convert it to USD instantly.

Then how will just holding on to the bitcoins ever benefit you, if the price never actually goes over 10K ?
651  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [Sell] Google Voice Account $0.25 / Account on: July 23, 2015, 06:33:28 PM
Interested as well . Just to confirm whats the need for warranty ?

warranty 2 weeks, thank u ^^
O.K, 2 weeks warranty is fair enough.

I meant what is the need for the warranty ? Google accounts don't usualy expire , so what would be the need for the warranty on the accounts ?

The only situation an account can become disabled is if the login is from a different IP. Which means the original email registered with the account will still be able to reset it and enable the account again. You should probably just verify the account and allow the user to set a new recovery or alternate email so he would never face the blocking of the IP and temporarily disabled account.
652  Economy / Gambling / Re: DirectBet – LIVE Sportsbook & Racebook. Rated # 1 by Bitcointalk Members ! on: July 23, 2015, 06:07:52 PM
i voted for NXT coin.
i hope you add them soon, so we have more option to place bet in your awesome site.
really like your customer service directbet.
I just voted for NXT as well. Its already amongst the leading coins so hopefully should be added soon .

Another coin I would love to see on Directbet in the near future would be the Ethereum which is set to launch by this week. I participated in their ICO and will have lots of it, and would need a place to spend Smiley

Also have you guys considered cashing out in Bitcoin by converting if a user deposits through another altcoin ?
653  Economy / Gambling / Re: SwCpoker.eu | No Banking, Only Bitcoin | Bitcoin Poker 2.0 LIVE NOW! on: July 23, 2015, 06:04:39 PM
I didn't realize SWC was shut down due to legal reasons -- is it because it was an unlicensed poker site or something?

Yes and they think Micon run SWC and because it is unlicensed , Micon is arrested while I think micon is just a PR guy here and have nothing to do with owning SWC. Goodness is that Micon is now free from any charges

Just did some reading on it. I hope the new SWC is safe from being taken over by the U.S., so we don't face something like this again.

Seals should be safe now Smiley Their team according to Micon have been running it from Antigua and have no plans to return to US . Even if they do I don't think the government will know that they are running it from within US.
654  Economy / Gambling / Re: PocketRocketsCasino.eu - Most trusted BTC Casino, 4038 invested, 327 Max payout! on: July 22, 2015, 12:00:22 AM
I haven't been paying much attention to BTC gambling websites recently but I noticed PD are blocking people from the U.S. Is it the same for PRC?
Doesn't look like PRC is blocking players from any specific countries as of now.

The sites doing great seems we are at a big profit now .
655  Economy / Services / Re: ANONYMOUS BITCOIN TRADES ARE POSSIBLE! on: July 21, 2015, 10:11:09 AM
Anonymous bitcoin transactions are any way possible without the need for such services. Isn't a mixer a simple answer to this ?

Another way to do this would be use a service of a casino to send bitcoins to the casino and from there withdraw to a different address. It will eventually do the same thing as mixing and making the transactions anonymous.

Hopping through multiple casinos would further make the mixing complex and untraceable and completely anonymous for the person.
656  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Video: Solar-powered Bitcoin Mining farm on: July 21, 2015, 09:27:23 AM
I don't see how this wil be profitable at the end. Solar power has a HUGE initial investment and to run miners its even bigger . Unless they run it for 10 years or more atleast it is hard to be assured of a return . Kind of a risk if the price falls or something. The setup is also too complicated it seems.
657  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC confirmation times suitable for payments scenario? on: July 21, 2015, 09:25:53 AM

For a standard BTC transaction the fastest confirmation time is likely to be > 3 minutes, average 10 minutes.  I can't see how this can compete with a credit card payment that confirms in seconds.

How do people envisage the payment use case scenario working?  I can only imagine sitting in a shop for 30 minutes while the merchant waits for 3 confirmations before letting me walk out the door.  Am I missing something?

To me the confirmation time seems suitable for remittances, but not for shopping payments.

If the buyer is right next to you sending you coins for a product, then shouldn't be a problem as you cna find out if its a double spend there itself. However like Amph said for expensive products you can always wait for 2-3 confirmations which usually happens in half hour.
658  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitTournament.com - Provably the most fair Bitcoin game in the Universe! on: July 19, 2015, 07:44:30 PM

I cut it to 30 seconds, but I wish there was enough players to make any sense of it. Right now it's hard to see two players betting within a few minutes.
One of the most demanded features for gambling sites is the speed. if it takes anything more than a second for a bet I just placed to be listed then its too slow and laggy .

Any reason why it isn't set to something like 1 Second ? Also I don't see anything about provably fair. Without being provably fair the site will likely not even get the traffic as no one will ever trust it.  You should narrow down and time , make it provably fair and then launch it.
659  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / IEEE - The Future of the Web Looks a Lot Like Bitcoin on: July 19, 2015, 06:12:52 PM
Just saw this great article over at IEEE which described how the future of web looks a lot like bitcoin . However even that focuses on how the protocol behind it is what matters.

660  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who would use a new platform for freelancers? on: July 19, 2015, 05:53:14 PM
Right now I'm working on something that would be like Freelancer.com, only for cryptocurrencies. Right now I'm curious about whether people here would actually use one and what you would look for in a platform like this.

I am sure you are probably aware of this , there is already fiverr which lets people pay with bitcoin. I am not sure if on the receiving end too they can accept bitcoin . This would definitely be a good idea but likely to get less traction as there are not many people who go to bitcoin related freelancer site to hire webdevelopers or other freelancing jobs , specially when they are not aware of what bitcoins are .
