In the gambling section I see the page numbers being displayed in the wrong order for the topic https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1102087.0

In the pages next to the topic title it shows Page 2, before Page 1.

I tried a different browser and it showed it in a similar way .

Just wanted the admins and moderators to know.
682  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Trading btc on localbitcoins.com on: June 29, 2015, 05:07:48 PM
Hi all, I am looking for advice please....is it worth buying btc at a lower rate on sites like localbitcoins.com and selling them on at a higher rate? Is it worth doing and is there actually money to be made from doing this please? Any advice greatly appreciated, thanks Smiley

The answer to this depends on various things. If buying for a lower amount than bitstamp, and selling on lbtc itself, then yes it is definitely profitable. It will also be profitable if an exchange price is higher than the price you purchased it at. The only problem is in times when the volatility is too high and you happen to purchase a large amount of bitcoins. During then, due to the swings in the price, you might have to also face swings in the total profit and could go in loss as well. But if you can trade large volumes, then its definitely profitable.

684  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Any other way to earn Bitcoins on: June 28, 2015, 05:35:06 AM
The 4th way is using your real life skills to earn you coins. Bitcoins is essentially just money , and just how you earn money in real life can be used to earn bitcoin too. You can also use services that will let you convert your earnings or wages in real life to bitcoin .  Check out www.bitwage.co for that.
685  Economy / Gambling / Re: [HELP] what's the best wining method of Roulette ? on: June 28, 2015, 05:29:57 AM
Obviously being negative Expected value, there isn't any any method to win. But to not lose your bankroll, I like playing on the 2/3 chance by betting on 2 rows out of 3. And I sort of martingale from there. You could also try around 90% by betting on all numbers except for 0 , and 3 other numbers. But in the end its only upto your luck and nothing can guarantee winning.

689  Economy / Gambling / Re: Branching out from dice... Any suggestions? on: June 26, 2015, 12:18:26 PM

Does anyone here have any suggestions?

What other luck-based or skill-based games would be the most suitable for someone whose gambling experience has been mostly restricted to dice?
Gambling is Gambling, so a previous experience doesn't matter anywhere in a game of luck. You can literally play almost all games offered in a Casino, on bitcoin sites. Ranging from Blackjack/Roulette/Slots. Some other innovation games would be Plinko/Horse racing/PVP based games. Skill based games would be poker, which again has lots of variants in itself such as PLO/NL/OFC etc.
690  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sportsbooks Serving UK? on: June 26, 2015, 12:11:40 PM
Anonibet are also closed to UK bettors.

I think Nitrogensports.eu is accepting UK bettors. You can ask their support in the site they're pretty much fast in responding to inquires.
Nitrogensports also stopped accepting players from UK yesterday. I would suggest try out Jetwin, they still accept customers from all over the world.

Just Quoting them here
We allow our players to come from all over the world, including USA, Canada and Europe.
Moreover, if you need to access the sports betting website JETWIN.ps from a region where Internet censorship applies or JETWIN.ps is blocked, please use one of the options listed here: http://jetwin-access.com/en/

vouch card?
look!  up in the sky!  it's a bird!  it's a plane!  NO! it's vouchman!

i gotta buy me one of them there superhero accounts so i too can be a vouchman and we can have a vouch wars.  Cheesy
There is nothing wrong with Senior + or trusted members asking for vouch copies as that establishes trust. Its sort of a job of a wine taster who does it to establish the quality of the wine and sort of vouch for it.

You are absolutely correct but you've obviously missed the joke.  Cheesy

what.. i dont understand
He was referring to my comment on the part about Trusted members asking for vouch copies.
692  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone tried this LocalBitcoins alternative ? on: June 25, 2015, 03:13:45 PM

I have been using it lately. I feel its a better alternative that localbitcoins. The support for localbitcoins isn't too good either lately. They have been avoiding support tickets and have been charging my 0.0011 for fees to send bitcoins out of my account to an external wallet.

1. Low volume against almost all currencies.

2. You can not do face to face cash trade using 100bit.co.in. They allow online trade only.

Yes and hopefully that would change after increased amount of people start using it . Most of the people are hesistant to try new services. As for face to face, can't it still be done on 100 bitcoin ? You can just set it up as a bank transfer and agree with the buyer to meet face to face , and hit confirmed after getting the cash.

695  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: LocalBitcoins as ESCROW? on: June 24, 2015, 06:44:08 AM
thanks for all the input guys..

does anyone else think their buy/sell prices and system is pretty confusing?  ..the BTC prices are in some cases outrageous..
The BTC prices aren't set by localbitcoins, but is set by the traders who sell or buy on there . I find the platform for trading pretty straight forward otherwise.
696  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks will adapt to disruptive impact of new technologies like Bitcoin on: June 24, 2015, 06:28:44 AM
A pretty good discussion regarding somewhat the same topic about banks looking into the blockchain technology https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1091635 . I feel it is bad for bitcoin specially blockchain being one of the major advantages of bitcoin. If banks implement this technology, it should hurt bitcoin to some extent, but since banks aren't fans of the transparency, it is likely that it wouldn't be of much use to them.
697  Economy / Gambling / Re: Where do I find addresses holding bankroll of different dice site and casino ? on: June 23, 2015, 08:52:35 PM
The Just-Dice link given above does not show any relevant info. Moreover, no one knows the PrimeDice address holding their bankroll ?

AFAIK primedice want to keep their bankroll secret and they are not required to show proof of funds as because they dont accept investments

Can you please point me to Stunna's statement regarding this ?
I have never seen him comment about it in public . But there is no need for them to show the proof as they do not publicly accept investments, and no private business would care to show you their proof of funds. Since they have paid out 2000 BTC in the past, you can trust them to have that kind of bankroll to payout.
698  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How secure https://bitmixer.io is? on: June 23, 2015, 08:37:33 PM

It is the most trusted service for bitcoin mixing. I know people who have traded over 50 BTC in volume on the site and have never had any issue. You can also divide the amount and send incase you are worried.
699  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Amazon gift cards on: June 23, 2015, 08:32:29 PM
yes and you need to give back your goods.
its like the police finds out you bought a stolen car.you cant keep it ...even though you bought it^^

I have never heard anyone having to do that. They just shutdown your account or cancel your order if they realize it before that the card was purchased in a fradulent manner. Incase you happen to be questions about it, you could just say you purchased it off ebay or a forum and was being offered at a good price so you bought  it.

Usually, if the price is too good to be true, it's a scam. Cards from a trusted member, (around the rank of full member or higher) are usually safe. Avoid buying carded gift cards, amazon might catch onto you. Buy at your own risk, hopefully you can get what you are looking for.  Smiley
That again isn't the best way of analyzing these cards. Someone could offer you a carded gift card for 85% of the cost, and that wouldn't make it legit. The latter part does apply.
