Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If the BTC crash, will it take every other coin with it?

BTC is the king of crypto, so yes, if btc crashes it does effect all the market, basically people start selling all there holdings in panic and cashout there investment in loss resulting in overall reduction in the market cap.
I was also thinking same up till last month but somehow I have changed my point of view. Because even when btc was falling, there were some altcoins going higher. That made me think that even if btc crashes, there is still chance that solid coins can survive. It may influence some of them but it will not decie the falling of the coins.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL or REGRET!!!

I'm really disappointed with myself now because of Verge. Way back June 2017, I bought $200 worth of XVG and I sold it last week a day before the pump happened. It could be worth more than $5k now if I just HODL. Well, I need to move on and learn from this mistakes. This will be a lesson for me to have patience and wait for the right time to sell my coins. The reason why I sold it was because I need more funds to buy another coin. I'm happy with the coin I bought because I can now see that it is now starting to pump. Maybe, I'm just half disappointed every time I'm seeing the current value of Verge. I bought some XVG again and will surely hold it this time. I hope that this experience of mine can be a good example for everyone especially the newbies in this community. I also survive saome times of this and I will continue to do it with this experience.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you truly believe in cryptocurrency

Seems like most people just want to become super rich in a short period of time. If you don't believe in this new technology, and just want to earn quick money, I think you will probably not achieve what you want. All I want to say is be patient, live your life, and don't get too emotional by all the negative news/FUD. Yes, crypto might be ended in a really bad way and you lose most/all your money. But if you truly believe in the new technology, just invest the projects you like the most and hold until it gets mature and returns.
I don't truluy believe in the tec but I want to be rich in a short time.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ICO would you suggest for February?
|

My top 4 for February are
1. Celcius.network - This type of project do have a future. We've seen relative success of ethlend and Celcius is way better.
2. Tutellus.io - It's already a successful business model since 2013 and now is going tokenized for global reach.
3. WePower.network - They are a serious team with serious influence in European energy market.
4. Experty.io - They are expert of what they are doing. Though I still didn't get what they are doing, they are getting a huge attention.
I also liked Tutellus.io. But the company is run by a junior member, is it ok, or i should beware? I take my first steps in the bounty I visited the website of Tutellus, did not find out why you suggest it, the members in telegram are very few and not active at all.

Are there any XAS delegate pools? Can't find any
no, there is no delegate pools and people will not get any rewards from the vote, all delegates are controlled by the team, they havethe biggest weight Staying away from this then, thankyou though there are no rewards form the vote, i think you can still get some rewards if you make some contribution to the community, besides, you can get lots of airdrop coins if you hold XAS I visited asch forum and find a new board on it, the 101 delegates self review, it may make the 101 more transparent in future. https://bbs.asch.io/category/41/101-delegates

I don't think it is a big deal for us to worried about. If you have been here long enough, you may have survived many times of such kind of things. Just stay calm and wait patiently.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Choose a Good ICO

Hi guys, there are so many ICOs, such as those listed in https://www.coinschedule.com. It's pretty hard to review them one by one. Which elements I need to consider, the team? the product? the promoting technology? or something else? Thanks for any suggestions I pay most of my attentionto the team members and their promoting technology. I will also read the white paper to see wha it is.

People always greed. Yes, I am one of them. Recently, i lost some of my bitcon because i want more instead of holding bitcoin. so i buy altcoin but not top 10 altcoin. Would you like to share your experience? Beside, i know that airdrop is good way to gain profit. What do you think DeepOnion airdrop? It seems that they got a very good community.
I prefer short term trading. I will sell the coins that I have when it rise and I will make profit. But I never sell my bitcoins because I think they will go high in the future.
