81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Recomended Project on: May 09, 2019, 04:39:26 PM
Well I think it is best for a token to be listed on popular exchanges because of volumes and numbers of users they have, imagine listing your coin on binance and carrying out a trading competition, that way binance would advertise you coin themselves and everyone in their community will see it, meaning that you don't really need to run ad in order to get people that would trade your coin, all you need do is list this tokens on popular exchanges that have made name for themselves already.
You are totally right, but what of the listing cost, some projects cannot really afford the amount these big exchanges do quote for a startup projects, that is why they end up wasting the money they generate through the crowd funding and never recover it back.

It will still not be a very bad idea for them to register on exchanges that has quality features, these big exchanges all started from the grassroots too, it is left for the project developer to do a thorough marketing that will make their interested users use the exchange they are listed on to make trade and exchanges of their coin.
82  Economy / Economics / Re: Can you share Bitcoin percentage in your portfolio? on: May 09, 2019, 09:33:08 AM
Many are in the same position as you, they bought altcoins trusting the developers were saying the truth when they claimed they had an idea that could become the next big thing in the market, many were attracted by such promises since the profits that could be gotten if those words were true are incredible, but most of the time those promises were false and now there are many people that are wondering what to do with their coins, I hope that you can recover your money but if that does not happen then you need to find a way to increase your bitcoin holdings and fast since bitcoin is not going to keep waiting forever, and at some point it will begin to grow and many people will lament not having enough of it to make a difference in their lives.
I think we virtually share the same thing in common, these are the 3 major coins that I have my investment in too, and just that my bitcoin is 65%, while my ETH is also 20% and my litecoin is 15%. I mean those are based on my personal investment, because those are the ones I still count as a reliable coin or investment for future.

My other portfolios is just full of some altcoins that I got through my work and I am still yet to know what the future holds for them, I know I did a diligent work in getting them out through my research, but only God can tell their intention, so I am waiting to see which one will join my other bitcoin portfolio.
83  Economy / Economics / Re: Have you figured out what you are Investing in? on: May 09, 2019, 08:26:37 AM
I distributed my investments between bitcoin, ethereum and EOS.  I think it's better to have less coins but more to invest.  I think there will be more profit.
If you are invested heavily on these three coins then better to diverify your capital into more coins to reduce factors.

Less coins better for a trader to circulate the capital too often into multiple trends to make profits but when we are invested into very long term then reducing risk also good thing.
These three choices of coin is so much enough to give any holdlers the financial freedom he wants for future because those projects are still one of the most reliable projects among the top 20 coins and they have the potential of really increasing whatever investment that one has in them by at least 10x to 100x.

It is safer to have 3 coins of choice and keep maintaining them than to invest on some coins that will disappoint one in future, after these 3 investments, the next should be for the investor to be trading if he or she still has any little fiat to spare for the market. Some altcoins are just there to milk one dry.
84  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: May 08, 2019, 08:06:24 PM
Raptors were losing this series and everyone (including me) started to talk about how Sixers could be the salvation of NBA because they have a great big and no other 3 team they will face have a great big to match but Gasol literally the only great big left in semi-finals managed to stop him. This game was just pure humiliation for sixers and I am sure there is two ways this could go on for the next games, either raptors will continue beasting because sixers already lost all their hope and hype and they will play like regular season not caring and just hoping it ends quickly OR sixers will be pissed about this game and comeback next game with some anger and beat the hell out of raptors. On the other hand nuggets and blazers could go any direction, they feel like literally equals at this point. If Nurkic was healthy that series would be so awesome, Nuggets traded Nurkic because they wanted to keep Jokic so Nurkic hates nuggets and it would be fun to watch him battle it out with Jokic.
85  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2018-2019 on: May 08, 2019, 06:01:41 PM
Why would you think tottenham would win? Ajax literally eliminated much better teams already and actually won the first game, what else do you need to know about them before you stop doubting how awesome they are, I feel like Ajax has the bigger chance because last I remember Kane was out and without Kane they don't even have that big of a chance for goal scoring neither whereas they need to do that at least once this game without conceding.

Liverpool was fantastic last night and I can't believe they managed to actually pull off 4-0 against Barcelona but if they face Ajax I want them to lose because showing how important what Ajax has done with its academy is more important, Ajax literally spends all their money into their youth roster and that allowed them to champions league semi-finals and possibly finals.
86  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: May 08, 2019, 05:25:30 PM
Now this creates two huge question marks for Liverpool. First of all just because they lost 3-0 with salah and won 4-0 without salah doesn't mean salah is a bad player, that would be silly to think about and its obvious that salah is an amazing player but it begs the question maybe salah is not used in a right way ? Maybe salah could be used much better? Maybe right behind the striker as an AMC instead of a winger? I don't know what could be done but they should test him in other positions next year, shaqiri is certainly an inferior player but the team not working towards giving the ball to one person all game became more of a "team" instead of focusing on their star.

Second part is, if they lose in the finals that would really result with whole team being doubted and could there be huge changes considering a chance like this would probably never come again, even if they try with the same team plus new players because this season looks like the best chance. In any case, history was made last night, it was amazing to watch.
87  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Fun! 🏀 Fast! 🎾 Fair!🏆 on: May 08, 2019, 09:19:38 AM
I think mobile friendly and mobile app are totally different things, it could be mobile friendly but when you have a mobile app you can make things much easier. For example depositing and withdrawing could be a lot easier on an app but right now it takes a little while, I would prefer that QR code reading deposit type of deal with an app which could save some time.

I personally do my depositing and withdrawing from Laptop because its easier but then I can totally play games on mobile. Betting is definitely super comfortable on browser even on mobile, it doesn't really take that much, and honestly that is the three things I do on this website I don't know if there is anything else "deposit-play-withdraw" those are it, if there is any other thing we do then we can discuss it further but for now you can just deposit/withdraw from PC and then gamble on mobile easily.
88  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: May 07, 2019, 05:33:47 PM
Now that we know City will probably win I was thinking what would happen if Liverpool lose the next game ? I mean it looks like everyone play at the same time next week (weird? does that happen frequently or am I checking it from somewhere else) but if Liverpool wins and city wins then city is the champions and I doubt city will lose the next game or even draw so I think we can say clearly that city is already champions even if not mathematically they are in peoples minds.

Liverpool is definitely at least second and they think they are not going to be champions neither and they have just one game left in champions league so maybe they will play with less hunger which may result them with losing. Wolverhampton is not a bad team neither so there is a chance, I am definitely going to bet a bit on that game, not sure if I will be right but I will still bet the minimum just in case.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DEVELOPERS MUST THINK DIFFERENTLY on: May 07, 2019, 07:52:53 AM
I do not see anyone coming out with a very much difference as majority of cryptos are geared towards providing a payment process and this makes it so ubiquitous and so many failed projects because they could not change the status quo or make a reasonable impact or difference. Investors therefore are no longer much interested about what the project serves or the technology it provides as long as it has the hype and potential of bringing a good roi
Cryptocurrency is just one of the product of blockchain technology and there are so many things that the blockchain technology can solve, it is because of lack of idea that makes majority of them tends towards the direction of using it as payment processor alone, just because satoshi came out with one solution called bitcoin.

Developers really need to look deeper into the system and even if they have to create cryptocurrency, it should have an attachment with projects that is totally different in idea and function to other available ones in the market. That is one of the ways we can renew the relationship between ICO and investors back.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe in IEO BITTREX? on: May 07, 2019, 07:10:03 AM
Lol, that is what they get for competing blindly, you see, they all want to compete with Binance, they want to be like Binance or do more than Binance, without first learning how Binance is a able to carry their projects out successfully.

When Binance first introduced this issue of IEO Launchpad, some exchanges saw it as threat to them, so when they saw that is was successful after Binance launched theirs, they decided to join in the game, but they fail to understand that only Binance has their success strategy, since it’s their idea, they would have allowed them to manage the IEO for a while first before they join the race, now they want to quickly spoil it and start discouraging investors again.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbies don't want to learn on: May 07, 2019, 06:36:54 AM
You can't say many people won't learn. I am a newcomer before participating in the bonus campaign I have read the rules and ways for new people. I learned people who participated in this forum.
You are right, we have lots of newbies that are doing great in this regard and would first learn, but we still have so many newbies that fell in the categories of what the OP said, in fact, I must tell you that one of the reason why we are still having some of these ICO scam projects flying around the social media is because of newbies.

I understand we have all made the mistake before as a newbie too, we don’t research projects before promoting, but mist senior members now do their research thoroughly before jumping into any campaign, which a newbie should have also learnt from them, but because they don’t know what is going on around the forum, they still jump into any campaign to promote, thereby still giving chances for this scammers, to scam other newbie investors that are out there.
92  Economy / Gambling / Re: OneHash || Mutual Sports Betting & Casino 🎲 || No Registration or KYC 💰 on: May 06, 2019, 05:57:18 PM
Will you guys ever have outright for champions league ? I mean the results are not in yet which is understandable but I assume Ajax vs Barcelona seems like a logical assumption and Barcelona winning the cup seems quite possible this year and I would like to bet on it.

I know there is one more game on semi finals and everything could change but I am willing to take that risk to say the least. Considering the odds are made by the players as well an outright would probably see a lot of people betting on Barcelona this year and having those odds drop a lot.

All you have to do is instead of 2 way result (which I think you even have draw so you have 3 way already) it will be 4 option of who will win the cup which I think you guys could do. If you can add that it would be awesome.
93  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Happy accidents on: May 06, 2019, 03:09:01 PM
Most people hate gambling for a good reason but I am still happy to see all good 'happy accidents' stories here.
I am sure you will be surprised if this few people sharing their happy accident story can also share the terrible times or experiences they’ve had with gambling. There’s no happy time with gambling, like the devil it gives cap and then collects the head.

I am very sure that the people sharing their story have more regrets, maybe they were only lucky at a pint in their gambling life and luck does not last long in gambling, it can be experienced once and never again. From my experience, nothing good last forever in gambling. I was lucky onetime won’t call it accidental, and I won big money from gambling. The mistake I made was not to quit, I ended up losing everything back  to the game.
94  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Regulating bodies on: May 06, 2019, 12:03:00 PM
I do not think a regulating body is necessary for  crypto gambling. we already have stuff like provable fair gambling and other methods for checking frauds.
We should just regulate more with codes and less with humans for the sake decentralization.
Exactly mate. Even on this forum it would be easy to get a reputable casino site. So if anyone is in doubt of a casino site he can easily bring it up and would get help as soon as possible. If regulatory body works for another things it’s definitely not going to work with casino sites because with the history of gambling and how the site is created most of them operate illegally.

The funny thing is some of the sites that would actually be reliable, because they are licensed, gamblers would not like to play on it because of some of its rules that might not be suitable for them. For example every site that is licensed must ask for kyc at withdrawal in their site but who would want to do this, irrespective of how genuine the site might be?
95  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐁🐁MiceRace.com - PoolBetting(New) - Mice info page(New) - Live mice racing🐁🐁 on: May 05, 2019, 08:25:16 PM
Do you have to even put it live on youtube? Isn't there a better streaming service than youtube for something like this. As long as you put the mice live on youtube and make people bet on that it may continue to have problems for you forever, I do not think youtube likes that type of affiliation and that is why as long as people keep sending warns about you to youtube you are going to have problems which is really not a long term plan for you guys.

Maybe find something else or even have your own system setup if you can and that would make sure the long term benefits for your company. Of course I am not experienced in this kind of work so I can not say what I am saying is right because I could be wrong but it just would make it much better if you step away from youtube in my mind.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is ADA a good investment? on: May 05, 2019, 05:49:24 PM
I used to own a few $ADA coins back in 2018, thought it would be one of the top 3, who was I kidding right? But considering it's current trajectory, is it still worth it - buying for the long hodl?

If not, suggest viable alternative(s).
ADA would have been worth it, because I could remember the hype during their launch and the confidence people had in their product, but it seems that the competition became too strong for them and the teams also are not too strong to move the waves amidst these competitors.

IF they can be more hardworking and active, I mean the projects developers, then something good might happen to them, but until they show that signs, I don’t think much investors would be interest in having focus on them that much, except they just want to hold it against the bull run, since all altcoins rises during alt season.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Price Prediction 2019 on: May 05, 2019, 05:15:58 PM
I think it is too early for us to predict the price of ETH in 2019. If the market situation becomes good, ETH will be able to break through the $ 300 price in May. I should buy ETH before it comes back Now.
Are you really sure that by the end of May we will be able to see $ 300 for ethereum?  If today you watch the cryptocurrency market, it seems to me that the ethereum cannot overcome $ 200 as some kind of psychological barrier.  It seems that something prevents to do it.  As if the interest in ethereum is quite large and many users of cryptocurrency really believe Big Hope on the erc20 platform.
Is ethereum bitcoin that it would have such spike in value within a short time, ethereum value can only jump that high during the full bull run of Bitcoin which will never happen this years until after its halving or Bitcoin halving.

That value is just a wish and will never happen, for ethereum to see that price, then Bitcoin must hit about $9000 by the end of this month which doesn’t look king of real for now due to so many circumstances still surrounding the market, I understand that many investors of ethereum will really do everything possible to promote the coin, but reality sometimes matters.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: IEO: Where should I buy? on: May 05, 2019, 04:26:27 PM
investing in the IEO this year is still profitable because it is still new and of course there are many investors in it. But you have to pay attention to the questions that you choose to invest in the IEO, I recommend using well-known exchanges like Bittrex and Binance, I think you will benefit in those two great exchanges
Those exchanges are still the best IEO platform because of their reputation and they would not register any project they have not verified accurately, but the problem we are having with the IEO on these big exchanges is little or limited access to those projects they announce on their platform.  Many people that desire to participate end up getting too late by the time they see any released project.

Due to lots of queue they do have, every project they register gets sold out within minutes , and this challenge may force people to joining IEO on Yobit which will end up being operated the same way ICO operated, because I only trust Binance and Bittrex IEO.
99  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do the Bitcoin casinos are based on blockchain? on: May 04, 2019, 08:16:08 PM
I think that is the explanation of what centralized crypto gambling is. I mean if you just deposit your money into a casino and then you just play there the way you want it doesn't have to be bitcoin that you are playing with, it could be basically a number that represents how much bitcoin you have and win/lose that is it.

It doesn't really change much in the gamblers hand because you end up with more or less bitcoin according to what you win or lose but in the end there are no transactions going around in the background involving your money. Its not like early satoshidice days where you literally have to send money and if you win they sent you back and so forth. That is what decentralized casinos are trying to bring back to remove the central ownership of the casinos.
100  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲EOSBet.io - Licensed Casino Platform 🎲Provably Fair 🎲NOW ACCEPTING BTC ₿ on: May 04, 2019, 05:17:32 PM
That is what I wanted to know about, how it affects the shareholders (bet token holders). I know its a side bet but if you do not hit the jackpot that money goes directly to jackpot amount and not count as a "win" for dividends as I understand. If that is true than there is a certain sum of money (right now above 20 thousand dollars from what we understand) that is basically unused until a jackpot is won, which could be used for something but I don't know how "ponzi" it would become.

The fact is there is absolutely some certain amount that is unused and it could be not touched until someone wins the jackpot or it could be used for something without spending the capital (like interest from banks for example) that could increase that even faster if you ask me.
