721  Economy / Economics / Re: Imagine that economy that we know it today is not needed.... on: June 05, 2018, 07:39:59 AM
Economy by its definition means is an area of the production, distribution, or trade, and consumption of goods and services by different agents. Therefore, it's really hard to imagine what we already know about economy would be perished due to this new era of technology. Economy will definitely stay and positively will improved especially in terms of its system through the help of the new develope blockchaon technology.
Thanks for really pointing that out as while I was busy reading through the thread, it seems some people do not actually understand what economy is before even giving an answer.

Economy is more like a state or condition of a particular country as the case may be based on some of the things you have mentioned, and without those things, there is no economy and there is no form of survival in a way, and we might as well just say everyone in such country are as well as good as dead as no one will basically be serving any function and I wonder how that would end up.
722  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin vs world economy on: June 05, 2018, 04:51:03 AM
Hi everyone
I'm pretty new to all of this and thinking about buying some bitcoin.
I have some concerns about the world economy influence on bitcoin.
For example what if the US decides to put restrictions on bitcoin? will it have a chance to not fall apart completely?
do you think Bitcoin is strong enough at this point to be self-sustaining?
thanks for the help
I wonder why many people still think that Bitcoin is influenced by the world economy...from the beginning there Bitcoin is stand-alone, by simply relying on the community, Bitcoin succeeded in becoming big as it is today.
so, rising and falling its Bitcoin price is very reasonable, it denotes there are a buying and selling activity of Bitcoin...
Even while reading some of the post by some people, I still wonder why some people think a single country putting restrictions will affect everything. Firstly, bitcoin itself is global and decentralized and every country will definitely be having its own rules of how things will be operating and therefore, restriction from a single country will only affect that country.

There are traders everywhere and even if there is a little impact, it is going to end up being temporary. There is simply no effect that the global system will have on bitcoin except we ourselves let that happen.
723  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Selling items online for Bitcoin or crypto on: June 04, 2018, 08:45:08 PM
You do not lose anything by trying it out but since the adoption of bitcoin is low you will need to accept other forms of payment or you are not going to get a lot of offers, however it is possible that you get a lot of bitcoin users if you are selling stuff related to bitcoin in some way like some shirts with bitcoin logos and similar stuff like that.
It does not even have to be a shirt as you can easily sell any other thing and accept payment in bitcoin or cryptocurrency. This is really going to help with adoption a lot in the long run and will give anyone who starts in their own space an edge in the long run as the target will mainly be crypto users and it will be fun to see them using their cryptocurrencies in real life.

Nevertheless, what you have mentioned as well is a good thing and we have seen the likes of purse and some other few enthusiasts and merchants doing that.
724  Economy / Speculation / Re: The reason why we should invest in Bitcoin Or Ethereum ? on: June 04, 2018, 06:42:27 PM
Almost all of investors think that: The best reason to invest in ethereum is a belief that distributed smart contracts will offer significant business benefits over more conventional forms of cloud computing and transaction-clearing.
Looking at the way things have been for these two, it is normal to know that they obviously are some pretty good coins to be holding for any new investor and even old investor. The potential for them is huge and they are going to have some pretty good run in years since this would be the attention of most investors and even institutions that would want to get into the space. They are really more of the coins we can really call an asset in this space and we all know that.
725  Economy / Marketplace / Re: I became a victim of the fraud on: June 04, 2018, 06:10:03 PM
This is big. How on earth will your supervisor ask you to send money that belong to the company to be a bitcoin wallet in the first place and you did not see that as something that you should suspect?

Yes, he may have the intention of using the funds increase in value to make some additional bucks at the detriment of your own job since you obviously will not have anything to proof that you actually sent it to him unless you had some official email communication you can make available to proof that you he actually requested you to take that action. Sorry bro, you have a big case in your hand.
726  Economy / Speculation / Re: The whole market is experiencing slump in last few days. on: June 04, 2018, 04:03:37 PM
Yes, we all have seen some kind of drastic price fall from last few days. As a feature of financial instrument I think this is not so unnatural. And so I do believe it will be back shortly. Your opinion will be highly appreciated.
And its going back now, look at the market seems tobe greenfield again.

Many issues has been thrown again in crypto specially bitcoin thats why investors got scared and no choice but to withdraw their funds to stop the loss.this is the problem in volatility if a large of fund withdrawn the effect will multiplied in market
It is always going to keep being that way and that is how every market is fashioned, fluctuations! We cannot actually expect the market to keep going up or to keep going down as reactions are always bound to sprout in some certain cases and I do not even expect someone who is not a trader to be bothered about the short term and if the market goes read, that is simply more like the opportunity to buy and buy as much as they can for the inevitable reversal.
727  Economy / Economics / Re: Do we need blockchain technology? on: June 04, 2018, 03:27:17 PM
I guess so, yes we need blockchain technology , because it where we see every transaction taken place and also it helps to secure all the transaction being taken place and also it support the system technology.
Yeah, as it is going to end up penetrating almost every sector that we can ever think of and disrupt a lot of things positively. It would be like a dream come true to the real world, because as things are going, blockchain technology will bring a lot of ease to the way things are done, from the banking sector to the health sector to the educational sector to the agricultural sector, name them! Even from the way things have been thus far, I am beginning to wonder how we actually survived all these while without it.
728  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can be useful for a troubled economy on: June 04, 2018, 02:57:18 PM
yes that's right, because bitcoin has helped one's life from bitcoin to build their economy. It's been proven from bitcoin income. So I think so.
It has helped so many troubled economy already using real life cases like Venezuela and Zimbabwe with their citizens finding a way they can help themselves out despite their hyper inflated economy that has ruined everything.

It is just surprising that even as the government has totally ruined the economy to a dilapidated state, they still just do not want to give up allowing cryptocurrency to take its course and find how they can do things right. I guess corrupt systems will just find it hard to let go of their nonsense level of control.
729  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is better? on: June 04, 2018, 01:36:39 PM
I invested all my money in altcoin in January of this year, and everyone saw it. It was a really bad experience. Now I've changed all the coins to the bitcoin.
The problem is that you probably invested at the wrong time and maybe bought at the top. Piece of advice though, it is always better to understand the rate of volatility of the market and the reason why altcoins are even the most volatile. You can get the best from them if you actually know how to follow trend and buy into them when they are sure doing well before they hit the peak, and by then, you do not want to be holding on to them for so long as they can come back right to where they started from.
730  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is etherium good for long term on: June 04, 2018, 12:47:48 PM
Can i trust on etherium project
I want to hold it for long term 5-10 years
Can i use hardware wallet (ledger or trezor)?
You already have most of your answer in your question and it seems you have made your own research yourself. Ethereum is a good one to hold for the long term, but on the assumption that you are holding just only Ethereum, that is the only thing I may actually have to disagree with as you will be putting all your eggs in one basket. However, based on the wallet to put your asset, hardware wallet is actually your best bet in terms of security and safety.
731  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What you should do when you lose most of money? on: June 04, 2018, 12:10:06 PM
Everyone experiences loss at one time or the other. If you trade cryptocurrency daily , monthly even occasionally, you should know that loss is part of trading and you should plan to mitigate and reduce your exposure to loss!
Yeah, everyone does and it is a normal thing you should always expect in trade and one of the things you should always plan ahead of time anytime you are even making a trade which is one thing a lot of people do not.

As long as you are an experienced and learned trader, it is the best thing to know that you should always plan an exit even before you enter a position at all and if you end up not hitting what you expect or things going awry, you will know when to get out when you know what you are doing.
732  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do whales mainpulate the market? on: June 04, 2018, 09:04:06 AM
A group of whale inject and withdraw investment massively which effect the market and most people get panic if market suddenly falls, this is the situation to hold with patience and never panic sell.Actually no one know the next step of whale but past history and events help to save money.
They have the money to play out the market as they want and when you have a lot of money to play with a market that is even more speculative, it is somewhat easy to manipulate as a whale.

Whales buy at the bottom, and when they are doing this, they do not just hold few of those coins or tokens but a lot of it and as long as they do, it makes it so easy to start giving market impression by taking it higher and this is where traders who are educated gamblers get to kick in and start investing. So imagine yourself as a whale, even while driving the market up, you are still making a lot of money from that, let alone, what you have bought at the bottom.

734  Economy / Economics / Re: one question tickling my mind on: May 13, 2018, 07:45:36 PM
i have one question..

in 2011 bitcoins per 50,000 to 500,000 we spent for nothing, just pranking and stuff...

if one person kept 50,000 bitcoins in his account from 2011 up till now,

would the bitcoins still be valid for transactions?
Yes, i do not think bitcoin has validity period. So, if he can still access to his wallet then he can sell his coins or for whatsoever purpose it will be. But if he cannot access to his wallet, then his bitcoin will just sleep in there.
Yeah, the only thing that can make that invalid is when such a person has totally lost the private keys and apparently no access to the wallet again whatsoever, then that is considered lost forever. However, as long as the keys are still intact and the person can still easily access the wallet no matter how long it is kept in it, then there is nothing that is going to be affecting it at all. Obviously, once the person in question has a target to sell them when he is ready, he definitely will.

Bitcoin old and new will have the same value, so far I know bitcoin does not have "Expiry Period" during circulation is still ongoing and can be used as a tool of transactions both for trading and investment.
As long as it is still bitcoin and nothing changed whatsoever which I believe nothing will, there is nothing that is going to end up invalid for transaction for bitcoin. The only reason why it could no longer be used for transaction is if there is no more access to such wallet and the person obviously cannot do any transaction in such scenario, except for that, it is always going to be valid for transaction.
735  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lets be careful on what we are investing on: May 13, 2018, 07:07:24 PM
Yeah, I think it is important to check the team and their credibility before investing in the project.
Very important, obviously. I believe by now, anyone who wants to invest in this community should have been able to get used to the fact that this is a community where things will always be decentralized until probably we start seeing some form of regulation which would even be cleaning the space a whole lot and more of the reason why one should always be very careful of what is being held.

As long as you are holding a credible project with product backing it up which would tend to be useful and also legally operating, then there should be no issue.
736  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Digital Currency Take Over on: May 13, 2018, 04:45:39 PM
It seems like it will take a long time for the crypto currency to be able to dominate the global financial system, because as we both see. There are still many countries that are not ready with the presence of crypto. But I believe, someday the technology underlying the crypto currency will be applied in many countries
I doubt even if we are going to see any form of domination of cryptocurrency as no government will like the idea of being dominated by decentralization anyway and will do everything in their regulatory power to want to limit its usage which is part of some of the things we are seeing right now with the whole SEC issues with some cryptocurrency and clamp down going on.

Nevertheless, I believe nothing can be done to stop its future growth and the only thing we will get to see is just regulations that would even bring some level of maturity in the space, but dominating banks is one I would not bother dreaming about as it looks pretty impossible.
737  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If gambling is illegal in your country, would you still gamble? on: May 13, 2018, 04:08:29 PM
If gambling is illegal in your country, would you still gamble?
Of course not because i don't want to be put in jail. I think it will be good that gambling will be illegal in a country because many people have ruined their lives because of it. I knew that online gambling is illegal because some of it is unlicensed. If gambling will be illegal in a country many casinos will be shutdown.
This is what I am also trying to tell people for years now. It is not that we can stop a person from doing anything which he has set his mind for. If we will stop him from land based casinos, he will go for online ones. Moreover, he can hide his activities on internet. The only working method to stop a gambler from gambling is to make him fully aware regarding the dangerous outcomes.

gambling is just an entertainment, a way that people can pass time and have fun with others so I guess people will still find a way to gamble but me, I am sticking gambling online since I can gamble in some sites for free.
When it is only for entertainment and it is available for free of cost then I guess we do not need to bother about restrictions by government nor by religion, we may go for it as fun of life will not bind to them, imho.
738  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: thinking quiting after lose on gambling. on: May 13, 2018, 02:40:07 PM
do you experience that after losing on gambling that you thinking you will quit gambling for good and never come again to gambling but then next day you are already positive  that you could win in gambling?

that happen to me a lot when i lose in gambling but a could never leave gambling. Cheesy
I experienced the same thing. For some reason, I can't stop gambling. I think its my competitive personality that is causing me to go on gambling even if its killing me financially. Everyone who undergo the same thing can understand this. I know that I really needed the money but I still ended up playing and losing money in the process. I am lucky I got away and never look back at gambling. Having a family really helped me have a purpose in life.
Being competitive is one of the traits that I admire but being competitive in such a ridiculous game is what I cannot praise or support at all because I am well aware with the harms of this attitude. You will keep on laying until you don’t come across a win. This will give you inner satisfaction. You might also win a game after losing for few time but that winning would actually be of no good in most of the situations and as per for most of the gamblers' experience. Instead of looking for winning back, I believe it must be a good decision to quit as it will end up all the war at once.
739  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does positive thinking affect your edge in gambling on: May 13, 2018, 08:11:59 AM
Positive thinking means if you are mentally relaxed then you will be able to concentrate fully on the game and hopefully you can win the game. I think positive thinking only works in to give full attention to the game and nothing more. Positive thinking is not a trick that will let you win the game. So don’t depend upon positive thinking in gambling.
But I think people take this something else. They don’t believe in negativity of the gambling. They think being positive in gambling as the positive vibes that comes out of a person and motivate him to get into that thing or be determined what you are doing. This can make this person ill mind and he wouldn’t be thinking of his life. So better is to leave this game and live a happy life out there.

Gamblers don’t change their way of thinking easily.
Yes, they want to win that is the only thing in their mind and will not focus on being positive to attract the positive energy. Moreover gambling will not let them to think about other things because this is how gambling addiction works.
740  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fair online casino? on: May 13, 2018, 07:24:10 AM
I always try other online casinos that my friends recommend and don't trust others that's just popped in the market.
But new houses are always known for exciting offers. Probably you are using them out because you are just following your friend's recommendation and not this forum. I mean to say you can find new gambling houses here still recommended by this community. Moreover you do not need to spend big money from your hand to try new sites, make use of their free credits/faucets.

trusting only our friends must be the right idea but trying out for free of cost will not harm anyone. Just make use of this forum and especially this gambling discussion board effectively at least for this purpose.
