881  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting in bitcoin is legal or illegal? on: March 08, 2018, 07:50:47 AM
Technically speaking, I should say that bitcoin betting is an illegal thing for there is no legalities on the existence of Bitcoin in the first place. Also, I still value the age limits that should be imposed in gambling and there are websites where age does not matter when you play or join in the game.
That is not being technical. How will you say something is technically illegal when of course it is not declared illegal in the first place ? We all understand what illegality means which is something that is not permissible by law, and if your law have no problem with it or have no rule against it, then i see no reason why it should be illegal.

I understand your point though, considering how there is no age limit on the usage of some of these sites which makes it worrisome, but it should be at everyone's discretion.
882  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin making alts useless on: March 07, 2018, 02:32:19 PM
It can not be said that altcoins are useless. They strongly depend on bitcoin, but each altcoin has its own specific development, unlike bitcoin))
Is that not what then makes them useless. It simply means you cannot even rely on the sustainability of any alt without considering the movement of bitcoin in every way. It seems the market is generally centered on bitcoin and the altcoins are just more like distractions to make more money.

Check to see alts increase hugely now, and then you will see the rate they get dumped if there is a bear market or a huge bull market. However, it seems that is the trend, so one way or the other, I hope those with products may be able to do well on their own in the long run.
883  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins future on: March 07, 2018, 01:54:05 PM
What do you think about alts future? I strongly believe in Eth , because it provides solutions to different problems. Others only copy eth’s idea in order to raise some money. We don’t need 2000+ alts, just 10 and it will be enough. What u think?

You are right at this moment a lot of shitcoins in the markets,
all shitcoins will be disappear by itself because there is no active development
but remember all shitcoins that exist in the markets is help bitcoin and ethereum grow, because of free promotions from all that coins
So many of them and I am sure their days are numbered. Any smart investor anyway will know the right altcoin to always invest in for the long run, because it is definite a lot of them are going to end up dead just as some of them already are with no development at all by the devs and no product to even make them useful.

I would not say this has helped bitcoin to grow, even though it could have added to the market cap, but I still believe they are just main nuisance in every way and they serve no advantage at all than polluting the cryptocurrency atmosphere.
884  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Exchange accounts on: March 07, 2018, 07:13:02 AM
If I remember correctly, the limits on Binance are BTC2 per day when unverified, and BTC100 per day when verified.

It depends on what coins you're planning on trading. But the answers you're going to get are usually Binance[1], Bittrex[2], or EtherDelta[3](when trading ERC20 tokens).

[1] https://binance.com/
[2] https://bittrex.com/
[3] https://etherdelta.com/
You should remove bittrex from your list because that is no longer possible for new traders. As long as you are not ready to go through the KYC process on bittrex, then you are not ready for withdrawals. So far, the best shot at 2btc per day without verification is binance but I won't be too relaxed on this as well.

Etherdelta on the other hand being a decentralized exchange for ERC20 tokens makes it a good option for trading those tokens without any form of verification but your options are limited to only ERC20 tokens.
885  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitconnect Ponzi scheme... on: March 06, 2018, 07:47:52 AM
Bitconnect? Ponzi scheme detected. LOL. There are a lot of people are crying cause they lost a lot of money by investing in Bitconnect without any knowledge and exprience about cryptocurrency and blockchain technology Smiley). They're too lazy to learn, too lazy to spend time and their intelligent to work to earn money. I also warned my friend to stay away Bitconnect and all other lending coin but they still invested their money in Bitconnect and for now they're asking me how to take their money back. LOL
Not learning is not even an excuse, there are just somethings that require common sense, but obviously, since some people always like easy money and the easy way out to things, they would rather stick with ponzi, and even those who may have some reservations, after hearing good news from some early adopters, they opt in too only to end up being the scape goat. Worst part is if another platform like bitconnect comes up, I won't be surprises seeing people joining.
886  Economy / Speculation / Re: Best alternative investments? on: March 06, 2018, 07:01:26 AM
why do you want to know what others are doing and how much?!!
if you want to invest in stocks then see if the market in your country is in a good shape or not. i may be making a lot of money from the stocks market where i live because it is in a bull mode and the economy is good but you may find the opposite to be true where you live and lose money if you enter!
it is not global like bitcoin...
There is just a season for every market. I have the same happening here and I bought into stocks when I noticed they were beginning to recover and enter the bullish trend, but it will be bad for someone buying stocks when it is already in that hyped mode and there would really be no difference than buying into crypto anyway. For now, cryptocurrency even look good considering, the trend has been downward for a while and the market is showing sign of recovery.
887  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it true bitcoin will fall to the leve of $1800 or $1500 ? on: March 06, 2018, 05:21:31 AM
I don't think it will ever reach that low because there are lots of investors and whales who are waiting for bitcoin to fall down and they will buy in. As we can see, the last time bitcoin hits 6,000$+, it then goes up because for them (investors and whales) it may be the lowest price for bitcoin that they will ever see and so bitcoin rises up to 8,000$.
It is even funny how some people hype themselves by calling themselves an expert and then in the long of it, they end up terribly spewing out rubbish to the whole world, stuff they had better just keep to themselves. I only blame those who listen to them anyway as they are the ones that make them feel relevant. Bitcoin getting to that level obviously shows a lot of weakness already and I do not see how that can ever happen.
888  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to find new tokens on exchanges? on: March 04, 2018, 04:18:46 PM
some exchanges notify that altcoin is listed their exchanges, like livecoin I'm using their exchange site and they always notify their members that there is new coin listed in their exchange so try to register all exchanges, but I think its better to focus on finishing ICO then join their telegram or twitter just keep updated on them they will announce when they listed their coin in exchange.
If one can be on some of the exchanges social media page and most especially twitter or telegram, I am sure any listing should be announced. Also, their announcement thread on bitcointalk is also one way to get some update on the development of the coin. There is also no need registering on all exchanges, you can easily get that information anytime, and you still have to be very careful the exchange you make use of, so you do not end up losing your funds.
889  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoin Trading! on: March 04, 2018, 01:58:54 PM
Every business is risky. You win with experience and a little luck. There are many ways to be successful, but the choice is your own.
Anyone who is even running away from challenges and risk is not really ready to do anything. The biggest people who do a lot in life today are those ones who are always fund of taking huge risks and that is really what makes them better. We cannot always have everything on a platter of gold, so we just have to work for it. Bitcoin trading involves a lot of risk, but you can minimize them once you are ready to learn and gain some experience gradually without rushing anything.
890  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler's mindset! on: March 03, 2018, 05:37:25 PM
Of course gamblers mindset is to win the game. They prepare their selves before going to gamble.Every gambler their aim is to win the game.Especially when the gambler is a small timers, they want only to provide the needs of their family. They used to wish every game to win for their kids. They just want to make their family to be happy and healthy life. Because only gambling they know to get a profit.

True, to win gambling needed the mindset, because without the mindset gambling will be difficult in am going to win, but I think gambling that is not was good because gambling will give an adverse effect especially for our children, because they will mimic the habit of their parents while gambled very bad for the development of our children later

The mindset of winning actually becomes the mindset of the addictive person, as those are people who want to make money from gambling and if a rational person who goes for fun may not have a mindset of winning always. It will be if won it is good and leave the gambling for the day and if lost do not play much and walk away from their.

Even people are pretending that they play gambling for fun but i am sure that still their mindset is to make money from gambling because gambling is a game of luck and we only depend on our luck there so we do not need for any experience or education but can can make good profit from gambling in a short period of time.
Yeah, anyone who is really in it because they just want to win and keep winning are the people who realize how much they have lost at the end of the day, try to see if they can recover it back by gambling more and then they end up screwing up all their life savings.

Most gamblers have this sort of mindset and only few are able to see what gambling really is and accept it because how they feel gambling but not because of the money, that should be more like an incentive of the game which you are paying for and it is definitely not for everyone.
891  Economy / Speculation / Re: Major mistake all traders make on: March 03, 2018, 01:33:27 PM
An active day trader myself (sort of), I often think about common mistakes people make in trading. And it seems that I have traced back most if not all such mistakes to their root cause. In a nutshell, it all comes down to being unable to back out if something goes wrong. For example, you buy a few bitcoins at a December high and expect the price to continue rising, which is kind of obvious. Instead, the price starts crashing down and you find yourself in a situation that you didn't envisage or consider beforehand. So your best option would be to bring things back where they were as fast as possible even if it means some loss.

It is not so much about placing dumb stop-loss orders or other trading techniques aimed at minimizing losses as about your mental disposition or general attitude to immediately get out of what can be loosely called a decision limbo when you basically don't know what to do. In other words, search for the exit where the entrance is and do that fast.

most mistakes made by a trading player is that the player can not control his emotions and control his patience because his key trading is to have a very high patience if you do not have very high patience is certainly likely to get a loss.

The biggest mistake that people make (I do not mean here only traders) is that they are all in a hurry. We need to learn how to be patient and wait until the right moment comes.
Lol, patience also has some level of degree. Patience when a market is just showing some slight movement and you know it is still in the present trend or patience when the market is showing a change of trend and you are still in your present position.

Anyone who wants to be a long term holder, there is no harm in that, it is good, but putting too much patience into trading without the use of your analysis unless you are the type that is just buying at any bottom and expecting a huge rise to sell, then you may have the patience, but be careful the bottom you are buying as it may still be a top.
892  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will 2018 be better than 2017 for bitcoin on: March 03, 2018, 01:02:42 PM
As far as i know i would  say yes, bitcoin will be more stronger this 2018.  Here in my country bitcoin is making its name on the mainstream only this year, and maybe it will attract new adopters and investors.
It is only someone who is negative about life generally that would even say no. The rate at which bitcoin is being talked about all over the world and the positive things going on in terms of development, it is time to go test the new highs and I believe the highs will be more than what we had even last year.

One thing I am looking at is the fact that we may not experience much downtrends this year, if everything turn out as I expect, because we may be entering the era of adoption. Anyone who feels that is either ignorant or they just want to decide to stay in the position they want to place themselves which is to be a laggard in the long run.

This year would most definitely surprise a lot of people as this would be one of the years of adoption we have all been waiting for considering the way segwit is being adopted, and how the LN will push us to the mainstream level. It is about time we see real level of demand and not the fake one we had in 2017.
893  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: ICO investment Risk on: March 03, 2018, 08:58:16 AM
I just work on bounty at this moment. But every person have a dream.I have a dream.I want to make a big investor.I want to invest on ICO.Can anyone explain me, Have any risk involved invest money on ICO?
Before investing in ICO you should to research a lot of succesfull ended ICOs and find out why that projects were good for investment and what's the current price of its token. Especially draw the attention of projects that grew up within general downward trend.
The icos that became successful had most of the necessary requirements you will want from an ico, they had a great team, good marketing, a use case and a committed community when you add all of that the success of an ico is almost inevitable sometimes you need to wait for longer and sometimes the success is immediate but it does not matter if an ico has all of that it will become a success.
Yes, there is no way an ICO with a good team, a good product and keep developing every now and then will not always end up doing great in the long term. Like you said, there are some projects that you will know immediately that the chances of success are slim and some you will just know that the chances of the project not succeeding in the long run is something that is impossible. It all depends on how everyone is able to make their findings before investing.
894  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it chance to jump in? on: March 03, 2018, 08:29:03 AM
the market is down now. Coins are cheap now. Do you think it's time to jump in now, or we can wait for lower price?
Ofcourse just today I was talking to some people who said that those who despaired that BTC took a flight to 19k without them have a chance to still catch it at 9K. Same goes for alts too. Ether is down by roughly 50% from its All time high and same is teh case with other coins too. So definitely you can try your luck at this time if you are holding fiat. But surely it wouldn't be a wise option to sell any alts at loss to buy others.

I agree. It pays to enter when the market is down. By doing so, you can get more bang for your buck, especially if you have a big capital to use. The more coins you can get, the better capacity you have to get good trades and the more value and profit you can have for a return. However, since the market has not recuperated yet, some would even say that it would be better to wait a bit until the lowest value may be reached, so that the investment would be more gainful. It's up to you, in the end.
Obviously, anyone who is not buying a market at dip is busy making a huge mistake. So many people last year had a good chance to buy into the market and gain a lot but they were just too busy looking for a much lower price and I hope they have been able to get what they have been looking for so far so good.

The market is recovering and so far we have broken the downtrend and if that is not good enough for anyone who has been waiting for a lower price when it hit $6000, I wonder what will be good for them again.
895  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When to Buy bitcoin? on: March 03, 2018, 07:47:34 AM
It is kind of trading or investing. There are such as so called the season or the right time to buy bitcoin. When bitcoin is in a big crash of price I suggest to invest your all profit or buy bitcoin. Then when the bitcoin raises again at highest peak sell all your bitcoin that you'be been buy or invest so that you could double your money.
If it is that easy for everyone to do, then we would all be swimming in profits by now. Buying bitcoin for someone who is holding for a long term best bet is to buy at dips and probably do that in margins, to cover up on the average. As long as the investor is buying in when the price is really at a very strong support which must have dropped after as long bull ride, then he is fine.

Questions like this are a lot to ask, essentially buying cheap and selling at a price after you get a profit. Altcoin trading is risky and you should be prepared for the risks.
Every trading is risky and most importantly when you do not have a single idea of what you are doing. Normally, for someone who is asking when to buy bitcoin, such a person obviously does not know and better to just stick to being a long term holder than gambling their position. One thing is that it is easy to say buy cheap and sell higher, but some do not even know what can help them to make such decisions.
896  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: day trading effective? on: March 03, 2018, 07:00:03 AM
it can be profitable if you know what you are doing. otherwise if you are just playing around and buying things wishing they go up instead of really making educated trades, then it can not be profitable for you.
for example when you say "the whole market is red" it means you are not seeing the market because even during the "red" times there are opportunities to make money. for instance in the past couple of days DigixDAO was pumped and gave a nice profit although everything was red. so did at least half a dozen other altcoins. and that is ho you day trade in altcoin market, you find these coins with a pump coming and invest in them and dump as soon as you are satisfied with the profit.
It can really be very profitable but can also be very risky and stressful. Someone with emotion cannot day trade, even though it is normal too see those emotion rush in few days after you have started with some knowledge you have gained, but one thing about it is that, you have to be very smart and calculative with your indicators, or else, you will be making bad decisions and end up losing a lot of your funds.

There is so much to daytrading that makes it profitable but it requires a lot of knowledge, good level of perception and ability to make good and fast decisions, which makes it risky. However, with more experience, a day trader always gets better. This is done mostly by taking advantage of the daily or few hours’ fluctuation in the market and having huge gains on that but it requires time too.
897  Economy / Speculation / Re: Your opinion about the fall of bitcoin on: March 02, 2018, 01:39:09 PM
there is a need to look positively when it fell, it is a good opportunity to acquire it until its recovery
Yes we should look into a positivity that price of bitcoin will recover. Not into negative points that could lead into lose of our money that we invest in bitcoin. When the fall of bitcoin the opportunity that can buy.
Yeah, every time there is always a positive thing to look forward to in every trade either uptrend or downtrend. There is always an opportunity in all of them. Bitcoin being low gives a very good and pretty buy opportunity for the long run, considering the level it can get to and how things can really make a lot of sense holding for long or having a bull run on bitcoin while you have bought low.

Always a good opportunity when the market recovers, considering that you bought low and then you see your profit coming up hugely before you even know it. Bitcoin falling for me is always an opportunity to even making more profit as a trader. That is the essence anyway and not when it just keeps going up. The idea is to increase the bitcoin that I have via trading and I will keep doing that.
898  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin after Chinese holiday on: March 02, 2018, 01:06:33 PM
It’s just rumors and speculative assumptions for positive mind setting.. We can view it on cultural aspects as most asian with Chinese inheritance has this common superstition in investing or spending money in holidays like this.. It might be a different story if there’s no uncertainty in china’s government before it.. Its increasing now but I don’t have a clue if it has to do with it..
Agreed and I feel this assumption is gradually affecting the market until it totally changes. As long as most traders start believing that approaching Chinese New year, the price would definitely go down, I am sure a lot of investors and traders will always start looking forward to the next one and that may be causing some pretty huge dump in the market.

All the same though, what would be would be, we cannot attribute anything much since we cannot be certain, but however it is, the market will always recover in its own time.
899  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is MEW Safe to use now? on: March 02, 2018, 07:00:44 AM
MEW is pretty much safe. Just make sure that you get a hardware wallet and then use it with conjunction with MEW. Hardware wallet keeps the pvt keys within itself and hence they cannot be stolen even in case of phishing attempts of in case your computer gets hacked.
The OP need not to worry at all since he is even making use of a cold storage. The only thing he will need to be careful with is not making any transaction on a phishing site, moreover, since he does not need his private key to do any transaction and all he needs is the cold storage, then he should have no issue with his funds not being secured but MEW is still very active without any changes.

Just did a fee transaction and everything looks fina as usual. As long as the private key is safe!
I have been doing series of transactions using meta mask, and I have had no problem as well, and since he is using a cold storage where the keys are store inside of the device itself, I am sure he should not even be bothered at all. Anyone who should be bothered should probably be those who are making use of their private keys to log in, but even at that, MEW is still very intact.
900  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Future Of Litecoin 2018 on: March 02, 2018, 06:08:03 AM
Litpay should boost its value and use in the future tbh, the coin is like bitcoin but cheaper and faster  Wink
I believe Litepay will really give it a lot of boost. However, with the way people have been talking about Nano and how it beats all the imagination than Litecoin can ever beat and possibly throw litecoin in the bin, and the good part of it all is Charlie tweeting his support for it after dumping his own coin. I know it may not mean anything though, but that may kind of a way affect the community's support and future hope for litecoin in a way. Just thinking out loud.
