961  Economy / Economics / Re: Positive thinking brings positive things. on: February 10, 2018, 06:21:51 AM
Yes, I agree, Positive thinking resulting to positive things, besides being negative won't help us either, it bring bad feelings and discouragement. there are many factors contributing to bitcoin's high and low condition and sometimes its beyond our control, the only thing we can do is to pray and hope that everything will turn out good at the end.
The only reason why the market is going down or up is because of the emotion that we have, if we will not have a negative emotion or mindset for bitcoin then it will be the best for the market because the doubters will be gone and that will give us a lot of positive vibes in the market that will bring more positivity in the overall market and the dumps will be lesser or fewer than before.
You do not have to be negative; you only have to be strategic.
As long as you analyze yourself and know you are doing the right thing, why will you ever be negative ?

For example, anyone who is greedy enough and wants to get rich fast, ended up getting into ponzi, when they fully know the risk involved, should not even be negative, they should be ready for any consequence. Only non-smart people get negative and once you are sure you have made the right decision, stay positive as that is the only thing that can keep you in the game.
962  Economy / Speculation / Re: I bought at 19k, now what? on: February 09, 2018, 06:56:46 PM
It's important to risk management at this stage, not maximizing gain

You are saying something about risk management to someone who did invest more than he could afford to lose, and most importantly with borrowed money. Actually I think he is a troll because such people would never wait so much and would panic sell much earlier when the price started to go down, especially when you took a credit.
Apparently, he had no knowledge and still has no knowledge about risk management and that would be more like speaking to the air. How will even a sane person buy with credit when the market is really going pretty high and everyone is busy buying ?

He is either a dumb investor, extremely greedy or does not even have any common sense (sorry to say). If he is not a troll like you said, and he is for real, then I guess no one can help him and he must have learned his lessons by now which I hope he manages to escape.
963  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin reach to $700? on: February 09, 2018, 06:13:35 PM
I am new here, will bitcoin price reach to $700.  So that we can buy it at good price.

I suppose we will never see this price ever. I hope Bitcoin will be going up constantly until it reaches at least 20-25 thousand. Waiting for the best prices of BTC in December.
I would not say constantly even if we end up having the bears out of the system and the bulls take over, we will still be testing resistance and support gradually at some levels. However, once we are out of the downtrend channel, it will be good to sit back and relax as the bullish drama unfolds. The recovery most times after a crash like this is always huge, so I bet we are going to be having a sweet run to the top eventually.

There is a huge buy order right now and with the way the bears are weak right now, I am not seeing bitcoin getting lower than that. The bulls are trying hard right now to stir the market up, there is still a lot of doubt, so many traders are still looking out for a better signal before getting in as there have been a whole lot of bear traps in the past, so the best bet now is to just wait and see but $700? No single way!
964  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin ON SALE, buy it now and HODL ! on: February 09, 2018, 05:06:46 PM
I really doubt that Chinese new year will have that big of an impact on the bitcoin's price.

But I think that you're right about the price rebound. It's going strong now and I can pretty much only see this current trend going even higher once all the bad news is flushed out of the system and people are confident in buying bitcoin again.

Potentially, this pump will take bitcoin back up to $10k+.

No point selling now because a) you're probably going to take a loss by doing so and b) bitcoin is most likely going to get way higher after this.
Chinese may not have impact, but the huge volume that was pumped into bitcoin few days back should have at least given some people a clue that the bulls are beginning to get back into the market. We do not need a soothsayer to tell us sometimes when to get in and when to get out.

We have had a huge dip enough and anyone who is not buying now and waiting for lower, instead of at least buying some at this point, is as greedy as someone who bought at the top.

Smart moneys will be thinking of a sweet time to get in right now. The risk takers obviously would have gotten in as well as the true believers who are taking the good opportunities. However, those who are bearish on bitcoin are always the one who usually come back crying about how they missed the chance of their life. Anyone who cannot see this as a chance now is definitely not even supposed to be here.
965  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can you save money while playing gambling games? on: February 09, 2018, 01:17:34 PM
Hello! i want to save money while playing gambling game but i cant really do it because i am really addicted to bitcoin still i have small amount of money to save in my wallet but in the next day i spend it for gambling because i'll always lose in gambling games can someone help me with saving in my wallet and play gambling games at the same time.

I don't think you can really expect to save money when gambling. In fact, quite the opposite, you should be expecting to come out at a slight loss because the maths of the games are created this way. If saving money is your priority, then better not gamble or try to invest in something else.
You are painting it too well mate. In fact, the first rule of gambling is to always expect to lose; the second rule of gambling is to never forget the first rule. Just like you have said, people need to set their priorities straight before even starting to gamble.

They should know firsthand that gambling is not meant to be an investment, if they want that they can start a business, gambling is just meant to create some certain fun at the expense of your money. That is all! Some people only get lucky along the line, but they are usually few than the people who get burned.
966  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you still continue? on: February 09, 2018, 08:21:50 AM

yes obviously i will stop or take a break, look for capital to gamble again until luck there
You can never tell when luck is already with you. Even if you have a good budget and if you don't have luck you can never win in game. We don't know if we are already lucky or not but if you are lucky enough to win then that is good for you but don't rely only on luck you must also know how to do the gambling game.
There is no good gambler. Gambling is all about luck, but it is better to just assume that you may not get lucky than to be hoping you may still get lucky even after losing so much. Most times I feel that people expect just so much from gambling which is why they start having problems along the line. Two things are always possible, it is either you gamble and use your common sense or you do not use your common sense and you get gambled.
967  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 errors when buying crypto currency on: February 09, 2018, 07:49:51 AM
It is true that most of the time we are informed too late and we tend to buy back to the top
One thing is if you are trading, and you do not know what you are doing, or necessarily do not have a strategy, then you are gambling. Trading is a different ball game and you need to be able to make right decisions for yourself which you cannot if you do not learn.

A lot of people who call themselves trader always like joining a moving train, which is a bad thing. Buy when everyone has sold out with no one to sell anymore, and there is a chance from the indicators that an uptrend is about to start on any coin. A lot of you are busy looking for information and those giving them out are pump and dump scammers, which exactly what you have described is what they do.
968  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: From stock market trading shift to crypto trading on: February 09, 2018, 03:34:06 AM
Crypto trading is very different from stock market trading. Crypto trading is pure speculation and there is no analysis that could predict the price of the coin in future. So you gotta be careful and invest in coins only in which you think will definitely rise in future. Apart from that you must also keep in mind that the money invested in crypto is at high risk and you might loose all of it at once if you don't trade properly.
All market comes with speculation, and as far as I am concerned, the only thing different here is that crypto market is an uncontrolled market which works pretty fine for me. In fact, that is the advantage here to make even more profit from the huge volatility in the long run if you know exactly what you are doing.

About the same principles of trading both in the stock market and crypto market applies anyway, just that a little bit of caution most especially with the movement of bitcoin is necessary which still balls down on your style of trading anyway.
969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sell all alts for Bitcoin while it's down? on: February 08, 2018, 01:35:00 PM
I know everything is down right now.. especially Bitcoin.. Should we sell our alts for Btc and rebuy when it rises again or is it much for muchness?

well to me it is all about %. if you think bitcoin can increase as much of a % as your alts will do or more then you should sell for bitcoin. but if you have some coins who have a great potential you should keep the alt as most alts are going to be able to rise more %wise then bitcoin
Even bitcoin will not just start a bull momentum like that; there would be a consolidation period for bitcoin where all the altcoins may try to start having some pretty good bounce back by then. This is always a good time to make some profit on them before bitcoin starts any huge bull run as that sometimes affect alts too when traders are trying to cash in profit on bitcoin.

your strategy does not work and it does not work out, everyone knows that along with Bitcoin, the altсoines have collapsed, that is, the value of the portfolio from the change of places will not change
Simple, and the good thing is that when bitcoin starts a little bit of its rally, the alts too will bounce back for a while. So, selling now is not even a good option. Better to hold for the rally and sell for profit into BTC when they get back up. This is in the sense that the OP is a trader and will know when to sell and when to hold, when to get into BTC and when to chill.
970  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoint down on: February 08, 2018, 12:49:05 PM
Because Bitcoin has so much negative news lately, some are real and some are fake, but we do not recognize it, so many people are panicking, selling their own coins, and some whales are selling, so they are all red But I believe this will not last long.
And one thing with bitcoin is that whatever happens to it in a crazy way, will crazily affect all the market. However, the reds are almost out and very soon, we should start seeing some greens. This is a wide market correction as the case maybe and a long one that we have all been awaiting for a long time, so best to just load in now and wait for another ride to profit.

It is a bear market indeed. I am sure by now they should have been getting to the point where they are done with the market and there is just nothing to sell again. The bad news is mainly generated for the bears to take over. If you have noticed, when the bulls are about to start, after the institutions have loaded up, the media tends toward being positive on bitcoin and when they have sold out and want to get back in, they generate FUD.
971  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can BitConnect recover? on: February 08, 2018, 11:07:12 AM

When they loose consumer sentiment and trust, its nearly impossible for them to be back. They would really have to give some legal guarantees this time to get the ball rolling again!

Did you hold in Bitconnect?

Nope did not hold any myself.. but my god it has dipped so much it's difficult to resist buying this dip. Just curious if there's really absolutely no chance of recovery or not.
Lol. Do not be tempted man. That coin has no support and community again. I am sure right now, even the devs have dumped theirs and just some few people who bought at the top and just hoping maybe one day, they will have someone to sell it to with at least a little profit until they just get fed up at the end.

Better to look for a nice project you can trust and put your money in it. Bitconnect is gone and anything that happens there now will just be a manipulation to lure the gullible ones and you won't want to be in such a position.
972  Economy / Speculation / Re: $6200 I'm buying on: February 07, 2018, 05:01:12 PM
Ok, so this has gone on long enough, I've been short most of the time, but I'm buying all I can here ! Let's go! At least back up to $7200
go mate while you can afford the price then hold and control your emotions when the price decrease again. 'cause there are some news again about banning in China and Uk . But just keep holding mate 'cause for sure after this bloody scenario the market will stabilizes and the price will surge , maybe not now but soon it will rocketed again , jus keep HODL!
Forget about all the news you are hearing bro, just stick to the charts if you want to stay long. This is the best position to buy and if it goes down further it won’t last and the rush may be fast. Weak hands are dying out and what I am seeing now is traders seeing a chance to refuel and I would rather be on that lane than the lane of those who are still waiting for the best lows right now. Margins are good enough for me and even if it does not get even lower, I am still good with my stash right now.

Well, 6150 ) Let's see where it ends. Tomorrow is the big day - SEC, G20.. could be rise. Could be fall )
Lol, he even said he is way underwater. Grin He may be saying the truth and he may not. However, I do not think a reasonable person will buy at the top with credit and even if he actually did, he should have been able to understand by now that this is normal. However, the best answer would have been, since he is way underwater, he should just grow the courage to swim with the sharks. Who knows, he may be lucky enough not to get eaten.
973  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price manipulation patterns on: February 07, 2018, 02:24:49 PM
As Bonsaiv points out, this single-stroke, one fell move, would never have the intended effect, if in fact the manipulation were to happen that way. It might result in a momentary flash crash, but then prices would restabilise pretty quickly. Single entities have been discussed of course, with some compelling evidence, especially by this guy from Hackernoon: hackernoon.com/meet-spoofy-how-a-single-entity-dominates-the-price-of-bitcoin-39c711d28eb4 and his other articles.

Spoofy may not be real, but the narrative is interesting and not entirely unscientific (otherwise ignoring the choice of language).

Think about this though, these would-be manipulators would surely not want to kill their golden goose. Even if they brought the price down, it would only be for them to re-enter into long positions. Why make a few billion today when you could be making hundreds of millions for many tomorrows?
That your last statement in fact caps it all. These are the same guys who have been in the wall street, so a new market like this with a lot emotional investors and traders is like a pretty gold platform for them to play on. They have been good at manipulations, they have the resources, they are psychologically sound and know how to input that knowledge on charts and they gladly do their thing until they are good enough like you said to buy back for long or until they see that the bears are worn out.
974  Economy / Speculation / Re: How low will this bear trend go? on: February 07, 2018, 11:34:06 AM
Pah. Anyone who says they know anything is talking out of their arse.

I've been utterly disgusted reading the crying today. People don't change. Everyone boasting about buying dips when it was shooting up would have to be shot in the face before buying at a genuine low when it arrives.

I don't think we're very near it myself yet. There's a lot of room below still and a lot more scared money than in 2013. There's also a lot more iceman money ready to relieve them of it when it gets low enough. They're the ones capable of looking beyond the next 30 minutes.
I like the way you said a lot of scared money. The powerful guys, the so called whales and institutions are always more in a position to drive the market. I am sure right now, they are with their popcorns, reading people's emotions on the chart, seeing if there are still some panic hands that are yet to give them some better profit and it baffles that a lot of people fall into their stupid trap anyway.

No one can give a factual statement when a bear will end until it ends, so we just have to wait, take some of our popcorns, and watch like the institutions.
975  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't worry, the market will not fall forever. on: February 07, 2018, 10:40:48 AM
You are right, every year bitcoin has its downside and the other coins are affected too but I am sure that it will surely get back its track.
Normally, there is nothing that has ever gone up that would not find a way to test back down, no matter how strong. This is a bear rally and we just have to deal with it and see it as a moment to buy more rather than panicking. This even gives more room for profit in the long run, knowing that one way or the other, no matter how long it takes, we are still definitely going to be back testing the previous ATHs. One thing for sure is that we will recover.

Keeping calm and having patience in the face of turbulent situations is always the best bet to be able to survive it. Crypto market is more like a stock market and you have to understand that there would always be a good and bad time for the market, but all the same, for the long term and for the fact that we are just starting the journey with a lot of benefits ahead, I would rather hold, face other things, than panic.
976  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Leave full time office job to trade crypto? on: February 07, 2018, 08:46:22 AM
I think it is not a good decision. Though working on crypto currency is more profitable than any other job but it has risk also. Crypto currency is on now volatile. We can't predict the future of crypto currency. It is better option to continue your main job beside crypto currency.
Yes correct, really not a good idea and also not suggestible to quit the permanent job for the sake of trading in cryptocurrency, it is advisable that along with the job can make free time to get involve in trading that could be good option. Why to leave job when trading by crypto can be done during free time. It is better to keep your job, earn some money from crypto.
For a job that is paying pretty well, it is honestly not a good idea, as you can just combine long term trend following patter of trading and also making good profit from it, than just the usual short or day trading, while still keeping your job and earning a lot both ways. However, the OP understands why he must have made such decision, so we just hope he must have done the necessary level of thinking and sort for advice before making that decision.
977  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading by follow signals. Is it good? on: February 07, 2018, 08:12:27 AM
If you can't predict price of coin. Then you can try trading by follow signal premium. You can trust instruction on signal, but not all signal can right predict, you must be ready for a risk of loss
Well, following signals could mean making use of indicators and not the usual telegram kind of signals. I would not even recommend anyone to trade based on just that if they have no idea how to trade the market themselves. Signal of such should just be of help to guide one into a coin with prospect of profit so as not to miss it, but one should be able to analyze the market themselves.

May bee I'm too skeptic, but I think that if I knew in what direction the market will go, I didn't lose my time to sell my "intuition", but I'd go directly to invest.
I think that they who sell their advice are just trying to scam the newbies.
Lol. It is not everyone selling their ideas that are scamming the newbies. Moreover, a smart newbie should know one or two things about analysis, rather than just following every Tom, Dick and Harry on what to do to make trade profit. Better still, indicators are not hard to use, so learning them should not be something that is quite difficult for anyone.
978  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading strategies on: February 05, 2018, 07:46:44 PM
Study techinical analysis if your serious to learn efficient trading. Otherwise, hold some coin for a very long time.

For my opinion TA not working on cryptocurrency market.

My opinion too. Those analyzation came from deep chart readings with hardcore trading terms and fascinating colorful lines will be all destroyed once manipulation especially for low price altcoins started. With the heavy fluctuations and volatility, charting is just a reference but not can take as main recipes for future trading decision.

I doubt all bagholders today are consulting chart readings before they reached the status of earning decently out of their trades.
Charts can tell you so many things bro and that is why they are there. Technical, fundamental, emotional readings are all there and it depends on you on how you really want to make the best of them in your trade. So, I would not say TA does not work. However, some so called traders who just hopped into the market, really do not have strategies and all they keep doing is to gamble, buy low, sell high and not even considering the fact that without analysis, they may be buying at a high price that institutions are ready to dump at any moment.
979  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency Banks: needed? on: February 04, 2018, 06:42:45 PM
A "bitcoin bank" is completely meaningless: if you own the private key, YOU are the bank.
And if you let some exchange to manage your private key...well, they are the bank. If they fail, your money are gone.
May be in the future you'll can trust your bitcoin to someone that will borrow them. Who knows?
Yes you’re  right. There is no good reasons as of why we need any bitcoin bank.  What will even be the work of a bitcoin bank if any happens  to be introduced? They make no sense at all,  you have wallets that offers you all you need to use Bitcoin, including some of them that allows the use of debit cards. You can also store in offline wallets,  and can have your private keys,  which puts you in charge of your money.  So, banks for Bitcoin makes no sense.

If we have crypto Banks all over the world it is much better, transaction will be much more easier since at least they could issue cards that we can use on shopping at any mall in any give time, like the usual a.t.m card.
Amazing..
We cannot expect such banks all over world in its beginning itself. So, there could be many significant inconveniences but over the time, things will change and will settle into better revolutions for sure.
980  Economy / Economics / Re: "Switzerland wants to be a crypto nation" Economic minister. on: February 04, 2018, 06:01:45 PM
I read this news at  https://www.fxstreet.com/news/swiss-ecomin-switzerland-wants-to-be-a-crypto-nation-201801300630  and its  really gladly my heart.
Economy minister Johann Schneider Ammann, Said "Switzerland want to be a crypto nation" as at the time when many developed and developing countries are expressing their negative options on cryptocoin and we are hearing news that many countries want to ban it. What is your take on this move or comments?
Well,  that sounds positive, but first, I’d like to ask– are you from Switzerland? If you are not,  then why are you so excited about the news,  cause it has nothing to do with you. And know it, if Switzerland happens to adopt the use of crypto as a their real currency,  it wouldn’t be bitcoin,  they will create their own crypo that will be issued out by their banks, and it will need a lot of verification, cause its not going to be like bitcoin.

In near future, we are going to have more countries to create some new crypto also to adopt bitcoins. But after some time, all governments will come to realize the potential of having only one currency which will be bitcoins for sure. So, all the above if a country starts thinking about crypto must be a good sign toward bitcoin as a one single currency for entire Earth.
